These were the good things: Communication before arrival was in English and excellent. Once I found the place, the location was good -- fairly close to the train station and not too far from Flixbus. However, guests must realize that the house is on the "wrong side of the tracks" from the places a tourist wants to see in Padova and, for example, is a 20+ minute brisk walk from the Basilica of St. Anthony and Prato della Valle. For an old-time backpacker like me, the room itself was adequate, although marginal in some respects. Finally, the garden area was probably nice, but the absence of a spirit of hospitality toward guests discouraged me from using it.
I rated this guesthouse at 5, but it could be a 7 or 8 if the host family would change to provide better and much more focused hospitality toward guests. I just didn't get a sense of being welcome or appreciated as a guest. However, everything wrong can be corrected. I hope the host family will do this for their own sake and the sake of guests. Here are my complaints: The host family was quite constantly noisy into each evening, which interfered with my getting to sleep. Both nights, there was longstanding kitchen noise -- clanging plates and silverware, for example -- but, at least, the host curbed it after I asked. The first night, for quite a long time, there was a loud and pretty constantly annoying male voice, and the second night the unwelcome and bothersome voice was that of an apparent child which projected into my room even from upstairs. Easy to fix. The electronics were laughable but easy to fix -- it was difficult to connect to the internet in my room, and the connection was often lost. Also, the host didn't know how to operate the television, and I surely couldn't help her! Easy to fix. Breakfast was something of a joke. Beside coffee or tea, the only things offered were a meager dish of small packaged sweet cakes, a small jar of sugar cookies, a bigger jar of that manufactured dry bread or toast or whatever it's called, and a small assortment of packaged jams. Easy to fix. The second morning, I took the coffee but supplied my own food. Also, the amenity in the bathroom was marginal, featuring one very thin and tired towel, and a bar of soap in the shower that has cleansed many crotches beside my own. Finally housekeeping and cleanliness were suspect: the long black hairs on the desk certainly weren't mine. I've been an inveterate backpacker/budget traveler for 35 years and, by preference, often stay in peoples' homes.

Convenient access to Venice, only a 20 minute bus ride directly from the bnb
The internet was poor, the fans were insufficient and there was constant streetlight
3.1
Great spot near train station, spacious room, cool decor, nice hostess who speaks English
Cold (traveled in late February), no sound insulation so you can hear everything inside and outside the house, difficult to find since no sign, breakfast mostly just hyper processed and prepackaged sweets

Old house far from the centre. In a dubious area, poorer and remote. Difficult to find.
The owner doesn’t even give any towel.
The house is old and cold.
At night you can smell the garlic and food being cooked by the owner. Disgusting to go to sleep with that smell impregnating your room despite having the door closed.

the staff went to my room without my permission and when i asked them why they did that they said we had rights to do this 😐
my room was upstairs and was soooo freezing
i really couldn't stay there without two layers blanket
also my room was really dark, it's lamp didn't have any light and i barely could see the things in my room, it seemed they really do everything to reduce their Bill costs
the breakfasts was so low quality and didn't worth to mention at all
i don't recommend this place at all
my worst experience

Close to raIlway station and restaurants
A bit of a walk to city centre

Bare bones property, decent room and bathroom. No breakfast included in my experience.
It's listed in the property description but I missed it when I booked so I figured I'd emphasize: they are CASH ONLY, and they have no flexibility with this. It wasn't easy for me to extract cash, which made this pretty inconvenient. The location is also a significant walk from the main stuff too see in Padua.

The B&B is practically next to the train station, a short walk from it, and therefore, everything else is also quite near. The owner was very helpful, we were able to leave bags there before the check in, and everything was taken care of. Excellent for the price, with a solid breakfast included!
The bathroom was a bit unclean

One of the cheapest accommodation in the Padova.
I thought that I wouldn’t have to buy another breakfast at the city, since I’ve paid for that alongside with the accommodation. Well, I was wrong.
House lady is barely speaking Italian, not mentioning English.
After I arrived to Padova, I had to wait outside of the house for an hour, ‘cause nobody answered to doorbell. Thankfully her son came home and opened for me.

What I read I got. Plus some free piano night practice.
Weird story. Worm greeting at 10 PM with a termomether, than some crazy piano gig downstairs when me and my 8yo tried to sleep upstairs, plus loud dishwashing or sth, oriental kitchen smell at its best. Woke up with a daugthers finger in my ear that successfully worked as a plug for a deadly tired wanderer that I was. Nevertheless, culture clash worked fine, modest breakfast served, no good evenings, no good byes, no hard feelings, just a crazy half sleep memory. Keeding you not, it is a concert venue.

The location was really close to the train station. The area has easy access to public transport and many shops to make your stay convenient.
The room and the bathroom were not clean. There were constant noise and chatter, from the staff, and I could not sleep past 8 in the morning. I gave my passport to the reception and then she told me 10 minutes later that I didn't give it to her and she would not believe me that I did and wouldn't even start looking for it, so I looked everywhere for my passport and couldn't find it. It was very stressful snd ruined my mood. After searching for a while she finally gave in and looked in a room that I wasn't allowed in and sure enough she found my passport there. My only problem is why wouldn't you even consider the possibility that I am telling you the truth about handing you the passport. And btw when I was looking, she was annoyed as if I lied and I don't have a passport with me 😐

the doorbell was broken and they told me to call to the mobile phone when in fron of the door. I called for 15 minutes (it was raining) and nobody answered.
People shouting in the corridor (or in the room next to me?)
