Breakfast yummy, Anna was really lovely to us! Stunning location in the hills, quiet village, very charming. We did a hike down to the lake and back up which was lovely.
Shower doors a little fiddly which could make the room a bit wet but otherwise it was perfect. Be aware that without a car this area is tough to navigate!

I loved the village, just amazing how it was restored. I asked Anne and she explained it to me, thank you! It was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The surroundings were that of an ancient building and I am flabbergasted how they managed to renovate and rejuvenate this and other buildings. the view from my room to the lake and hills was amazing! Anne was a wonderful host and the breakfast was divine (I ate way too much of her freshly baked cakes and home made condiments). She had lit a fire and it was cosy. There was a heater in the room, nice hidden lights and the kitchen design was stunning. Anne was very patient and helpful with my questions re wifi and the village’s restauration. Her place is right next door to a nice Osteria and it was quiet and peaceful in the village.
This isn’t complaining but the shower could only be used when hand held. I found the toilet in this kind of cubicle rather uncomfortable, air-less but very clean. I guess it just can’t be helped to design within the confined space of ancient heritage listed buildings.

Idyllic view. Excellent breakfast - eggs cooked to order, good coffee, freshly baked bread and cakes, and more. The property is not reachable by car, which for me is a plus.

The stay in the nice old building and the beautiful panorama of the area around. The cleaness of the room and kitchen. The very good breakfast and friendly staff.
Nothing.

that it’s restored in a beautiful place
the staff, the rooms where tiny and had strange arrangements for bathrooms

I loved the place: Labro is magic, up on a hill it has a wonderful view over the lake and the whole valley, the streets and the buildings have remained frozen in time and you feel the history behind any stone.
The hotel is charming, curated in every detail to preserve the athmosphere yet the apartments are comfortable and modern with every amenities (except for the bidet ;-)). Breakfast is home made and served with attention to detail.

Beautiful location in the heart of a medieval village on top of a hill overseeing the Piediluco lake, cosy room, great breakfast with home cooked cakes and a lovely and helpful owner.

Charming and beautiful place. Ideal for couples.

Everything!! Tasteful design, breakfast, our chat with the owner and her useful tips on walking paths, the tranquility and atmosphere in the village and of course having aperitivo in the restaurant and watching the sun going down.

A truly magical place. Don't miss this gem if you are in the area. Labro is a wonderful little village and walking around town feels like stepping back in time. Great, super friendly host, great homemade breakfast and the most beautiful view from room 13.

The town, the welcome by Ms Anne, the view from the room, the exceptional cleanliness and attention to social distancing measures, the overall sense of serenity the property exudes. Easy drive to the lake and Marmore falls.
We loved everything.

We really appreciated the communication with the host and information about this great spot. Organised a lift from the lake so we didn’t have to walk up the hill. Phew! Plus made the next days walk on St Francis Way more manageable.
Gorgeous views from windows and modern white decor.
Best breakfast we’ve had in Italy in a tasteful breakfast room.
Be aware if staying in top apartment there’s some tricky stairs. And not toddler friendly.
