Staff, location, spa, restoraunt, atmosphere all were super! They helped us with different tours such as Taru village tour, elephant safari tour, arranged a cultural show night though we were only guests (as it was off season) thanks for everyone from the staff. Room facilities and everything is in high condition.
Electricity was going off for some minutes very often and you should wait hot water to come in bathroom for some 5-10minutes, just take into account these, but these do not prevent you to have a good stay and enjoy.

Amazing new resort, exceptional service, staff so friendly, kind, and helpful.
They have lovely Jeep and river safari.
We went off season (June) and because they had smaller numbers of guests the attention we received from the staff was amazing. They served us a la carte breakfast anytime we wanted. We bought both the river and jeep safari and they peovided us with an amazing free lunch in the jungle.
I'm so glad that I took their Bharatpur airport transfer. They sent with us our concierge to drop us to the airport. On arrival there we learned that all flights are running more than 2 hours late. The concierge immediately spoke with airport officials and rebooked us with another flight that was about to depart, which was so helpful and we couldn't have done it without him
Tours and activities are a bit costly, but are worth it..

The service was amazing, very nice and kind staff. the suite was the most beautiful I ever been, I definetly reccomend staying in the suite with private pool. Restaurant was also very good and the safari is totally worth it.
There was a ferret living in the ceiling of our suite (one day he ate one banana).
I mean we are in the middle of the jungle so it’s expected to have animals all around, just maybe not inside our room.

No need to search any longer, this place is amazing. My wife and 2 kids spent 2 nights, 3 days at the lodge in the 2 bedroom suite. We are experienced travelers and have high expectations for hotels. This place is absolutely amazing from start to finish. Honestly, we have never been so well taken care of, ever, in all of our travels! The minute we arrived, we were treated with delicious Lemonade (made from lemon grass and clean purified water) briefed on the property and amenities and were shown to our suite. We then went on a sunset canoe safari with our guide Jitu and enjoyed dinner on the bank of the river. The next day, we took a Jeep Safari tour for 1/2 day and then went on a village tour and had an elephant experience that our children (and us) will remember for the rest of our lives! It was a beautiful and amazing experience one on one with the elephant in the river. That evening, we were treated to a beautiful private dinner on the grounds of the lodge and loved the ambience and the food! The last thing day, we went on another Jeep safari, returned for lunch and back to Kathmandu on Buddha Air. We were sad to leave as we were treated like royalty the whole time! The staff are amazing and are there to serve as personal butlers to fulfill every need, want, etc. I am telling you, there is something special about this place and I would love to go back for 2 weeks! No need to search any longer, this group of lovely people have got you from start to finish and top to bottom. Oh and don’t forget to get a massage in the beautiful spa, another amazing experience.

Right in front of the National Park, this lodge is exceptional. The staff was always happy to help you whatever your needs. The spot was incredible by night with the lights. Great room with excellent white chocolate biscuits!
Breakfast was not the best we had in Nepal.
The activities very expansive (for example, we paid 125$ per person for a sunset canoe ride without dinner…)

The remoteness of this lodge means you are more likely to encounter wildlife than in the more populated area of Sauraha. There were rhinoceros grazing each early morning in the river and the jeep safari brought us up close and personal. The guide is also extremely knowledgeable.
This remoteness also gives you the calm, quiet and completely relaxing experience.
The staff were absolutely exceptional, going well beyond the standard to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay the best it can possibly be.
It is highly eco-sustainable, avoiding plastic wherever possible, the majority of staff are hired from the local community and they try to purchase as much food and services also from the local community. This investment helps reduce locals reliance on income sources that may be more harmful to the environment and wildlife.
Is it expensive? When compared to other Nepalese accommodation and services, yes. Is it worth it though? Absolutely!
Leaving!

The lodge exceeded our expectations when it comes to service, surprise jungle dinners, food, relaxation, and different tribes' dance evenings and breakfast. The lodge also offers a wide range of safari, river rides, and spa.
We didn't expect high prices for the safari overall, but it was a nice one, we had to see a lot of deer, a few Rhinos, a lot of birds, and beautiful peacocks, we missed the tiger though.

Amazing view of the river and jungle. The room was quiet and felt very private. The walk from our room to the main areas was through a garden that felt like we’d been transported to a lush jungle oasis.

Oh my God!! Never seen such a service in my life !! They made us feel at home and amazing hospitality.
Everything is exceptional there and worth visiting atleast once in your life time.

the room was quiet and the grounds were beautiful
the cost of the activities is exorbitant. $500 for 2 people to do a walking safari for one day. a friend of mine did a walking safari with another hotel and it was around $100 for the 2 of them. they know you will pay so they charge a ton for the activities. the location is very far from other outfitters so if you want to do the activities it’s your only option to go through the hotel.

The best hotel experience in my life, mostly because of the very friendly and kind staff, great food, fabulous rooms and the wonderful environment. The knowledgeable naturalist guide took us on amazing jeep and walking safaris and everyone was so attentive and friendly, we didn't want to leave... I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to have a great time and a very pleasent experience in Chitwan!
Nothing could have been better, it was just perfect!

I really enjoyed talking to our jungle safari tour guide , who was very welcoming .
That the person at the reception didn’t inform about any sort of promotions or offer , I was over charged .

The place is next to the park, which lets you be there in 5 five minutes by crossing the river. The staff was very attentive and exceptional. The walking safari and car safari were incredible. Good beds and comfortable rooms.

Our stay in Barahi was perfect. The facilities were great and clean. The food was good, too. The services/activities they provided was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed the Jeep and Boat Safari. i’ve stayed in another resort in Chitwan before and did the boat safari, but what really set Barahi apart is the service and their hospitality. From the pick up to the small briefing once you arrive to providing options for the activities, everything went smooth and we really appreciated the staff and their service. Our naturalist Govinda was AMAZING. he helped us a lot through our stay and provided so many facts about the animal we saw. he was really helpful without being overbearing so we really appreciated that. it rained while we were in the jeep safari so our shoes got wet and they cleaned it and dried it in time for us to depart the next day (for a fee of course but everything was done without any stress). This is one of the best experiences we’ve had and it was really because of the staff and their service. Everything was hassle-free and very relaxing and we were able to do a lot of activities and enjoy the facilities. Will definitely come back again.

The rooms were great, staff was exceptional which enhanced the safaris. My partner got sick In Kathmandu and they took great care of her.
Activities are priced according to number of participants. If you are a solo traveler and want to go on a Jeep safari you have to hope another group is going since the price is split between the participants (ca.420 USD). It’s a bit more than 100 USD when joining a group of 3 but 400+ when going solo. Prices are fair but hard to estimate and unaffordable when going solo.

The staff, especially Naturalist Govinder, are exceptional. Taking care of you, full of positive surprises in keeping us and the children engaged and very very knowledgeable about the natural and built environment around the hotel. The hotel itself is charming and luxurious, with great rooms and good food (ranging from local to international)
While mask and social distancing discipline of the staff in the hotel is remarkable, guest could be encouraged stronger to follow COVID-19 related rules.

Everything as expected. Accommodating staff, warm reception, good management, an excellent relax day and we were lucky to be there during New Year celebrations
The road to get there was not asphalted, our driver was freaking out....
