Everything!!!!! If you want to experience the real Balinese vibe this place where you need to stay!
Just our room air conditioning was not working well. But I’m still very happy with the overall experience

The best thing was the friendliness of its staff, they made us feel at home, they attended to all our concerns and they even helped us with our planning of activities in Bali. Thank you guys!

We really enjoyed our stay. We liked the walk to the restaurant but they were also happy to deliver food to our bungalow. Putu, the manager, was great and very helpful with activities. To see sunrise over Mt Agung just walk in line with the road out into the rice fields, about half way, and then turn to face back- beautiful!
The bungalows near reception( not riverside) are also near all the neighbourhood dogs that were fighting and barking during the night. Although the food was nice, the menu was a bit limited after a few days.

the location of the property is very nice, situated in the rice terraces. the rooms are clean and spacious. the property has a lot going for it
All the problems we had with this accommodation came from the restaurant and the food. Given the location of the accommodation there are very few options for food nearby and so it is almost a necessity to eat from the restaurant. The restaurant generally takes about an hour or more to fulfil an order, but we were particularly disappointed with our breakfast. We ordered a full continental breakfast, upon ordering we were told it could be fulfilled. We waited and hour and a half for our breakfast to be made, and when it was finally bought to us it was an omelette and bread. Given that it was advertised as a full breakfast (for 75k) it was actually ridiculous. no one told us that ingredients were missing, or that it would take a while, it was a very disappointing experience

I booked the garden villa and I can say that you should definitely not stay there unless you want to listen to your neighbour as there is absolutely no privacy with regards to sound. I could literally hear everything from the room next door even though they were having a normal conversation. I ended up complaining and they did move me which I appreciated. thinking my trip was on the up was a massive error. the service was not good at all and the one morning it took 1 and half hours for our breakfast to arrive and both mornings they didn’t have options on the menu but I was only told that when the food arrived. they need to improve threes customer communication a lot more. we basically had a problem every single time we ate with something missing on the menu, on the bill etc etc. unfortunately I can’t recommend this place although the room I moved to was very nice it didn’t help with how poor the service was.

room is very clean, with beautiful Balinese style, nice the outdoor shower. located in the middle of rice fields, for travellers who prefer tranquility. the compound is huge and you can take walks.
pool could do some refresh, looked mossy. and alot of red ants by the pool. food not so good at the restaurant.

The quiet location away from busy Bali. Helpful and friendly staff.
Long walk from the reception to the suites/pool/restaurant area is steep and slippery in wet conditions. one of us fell.

Nice stay in Balinese house. Good wifi. Comfortable bed. Cool shower, semi outside. Staff nice. Parking for cars. Nice walk through Rice fields to their restaurant. Very peaceful and great views. Stayed 2 nites.
The only thing I could suggest is water blasting the paths around the property and the path to the restaurant. Very slippery. Otherwise nice stay.

Daily cleaning from friendly and wonderful staff - tended easily and kindly to any requests/needs. I have had some challenges with my credit cards here and right from my day of arrival, the manager (Putu) took me on his motorbike to the bank machines I needed to get cash. He also gave me a lovely tour of the property and village; took me to the temple on site (as I wanted to see and meditate there), and allowed me to also see/energetically-connect with one of the cows on the property! Told me about numerous plants and the area and their uses too and got to meet his family where he noticed I loved seeing their dragonfruit tree. He picked one (I think the best!) - for me to enjoy back at my room. Also introduced me to local driver who took me to 2 distant temples I was really eager to see - that was my most wonderful temple visit day through my (so far) 3 week stay in Bali. The dining servers and the cleaning staff are all lovely, easy and friendly - I highly recommend a stay here - the rice fields across from my room/bungalow was a serene pleasure to wake to and see during my regular meditation times every single day! Thank-you Umasari - you truly made my stay fantastic and I hope to be back one day!! Terima kasih!!

This place is a hidden gem, such beautiful surroundings. We loved the facilities and the restaurant was very good. There are two pools to choose from and both are really nice. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and we loved the outdoor bathroom. Staff were really friendly. The pet dogs were a bonus, so cute. Really good value for money, would highly recommend.

- The staff was incredibly helpful on our 3 days stay where they helped us with a personal crisis and an extension. They helped out with motorbike rent (70k) that arrived in 5 minutes.
- the location is exceptional - in a middle of active ricefields, where we watched locals work while we were having our delicious breakfast.
- the property is like a tamed jungle - attended with love by staff and very well looked after plants.
- breakfast was great, choices of continental / indonesian breakfast with coffee/tea + fruits/fruit juice
- the bathroom was clean, showers outside and they had refillable glass jared shower gel/shampoo
- We have stayed in different villas and it felt that the suite/wooden villa is worth the little extra money compare to the joglo villa as those are all the way at the front and can get noisy/busy.
- the walk to the restaurant is not the easiest, it can get slippery after it rain

The location is in the middle of a tiny village surrounded by rice fields. More beautiful, and peaceful then I could have imagined. At first I was a bit disappointed the rice fields weren't beautiful, tall and emerald green but were at different stages of growth. It gave me a new appreciation for the work that goes into growing rice and a clearer understanding of the process. Umasari Rice Field Villas are located in the perfect place, the sunrise in the morning over the fields was amazing. There is always something going on. You don't want to spend time inside so the huge covered terrace with a table and chairs and lounger were absolutely perfect. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom was huge and open to the outside - the shower was outside. A kettle and cups were provided but bring your own coffee or tea if you like that in your room. Breakfast was excellant. Probably the best we had at our month in Bali. The walk to the restaurant is about 4 minute up and down through the rice fields to a beautiful view of the river and rice terraces on the opposite side. The staff were excellent and very friendly. We only had three nights there and I wish we had stayed longer.
It's exactly what I thought it would be but better.

We really loved the location, far away from everything in the middle of rice fields. The whole complex was beautiful with a lot of plants and really nice pools. Very family friendly as well, they brought us a babychair for our terrace and we could have breakfast there. Everyone was very helpful and acommodating, we loved everything here and decided to spend an extra night.

Umasari guests can enjoy beautiful views over the rice fields and can stay in traditional style houses. The site boasts two pretty pools and us attractively planted. The hotel is integrated into a working land scape of rice paddies with ploughing and harvesting activities to watch. There are also spectacular river views from the restaurant with the chance to see kingfishers. The food was very good and the staff delightful.
The steep walk to the restaurant was a challenge for my companion. The outdoor bathroom a little tired and there were some mosquitos. the shower was excellent though.

Beautiful place, the surrounding nature is gorgeous (rice fields on one side, and valley with a river, palm trees and rice terrace on the other side where the restaurant and swimming pool are).
The food was very tasty.
The balinese huts are very charming although dark at night.
The bungalow are poorly lit at night, better light bulbs would help!

Exceptional staff. Beautiful environment, culturally interesting.
Restaurant not set up for special diets. Rice harvesting can be noisy.

This wonderful quaint villa was perfectly located in the rice terrace, with gorgeous views and terrain to explore and go for walks. The swimming pool by the villas was a dream. Breakfast had amazing views. Even the traditional Balinese massage was all I needed to exhale, and immerse myself in the culture. The staff were helpful and very kind.

Walk to restaurant you need to be a Billy goat to get too. But they will deliver to room. Which we did after our one and only time to restaurant.

Umasari Rice Terrace Villa is undoubtedly a great place to rest and take advantage of the peace of this incredible place.

Beautiful location, right next to paddy fields. Quiet and peaceful.
Great smelling shampoo and bath gels housed in glass bottles. I think they may be locally produced.
The team at reception and at the resto are very friendly and helpful.
WiFi is available but slow connection. Reverted to 4G on phone.
Path down to the resto is steep and is slippery when wet.

The location is fantastic, among rice fields, you can meet farmers also. Restaurant is very good - many choices for dining - and the staff/managers are very kind.
Being immersed in nature and having an open bathroom cottage-style, I had several insects in the bathroom area. Light in the room is very weak at night. In general the room needs more maintenance.
9.0 / 10.0
The staff were incredible. Putu especially so. Restaurant was good value as is the accommodation. We will be back.
Pathways are due an upgrade. I spoke to staff about this and was assured this is being addressed by the owners.
