Sejur minunat

Hotel foarte frumos situat pe cea mai frumoasă plajă din Kenya. Personalul este foarte prietenos si serviabil, curățenie se face zilnic . Am avut doar mic dejun și mâncarea a fost foarte bună și suficient de variata. Dacă veniți in perioada august-octombrie aveți posibilitatea să vedeți cum ies puișorii de broască țestoasă și se îndreaptă spre apă. Oferă caiac gratuit și se organizează diferite activități sportive zilnice. Dispune de o plajă privată frumos amenajată. În această perioadă construiau și un restaurant pe plajă care cred ca va arăta foarte bine.

Camerele sunt puțin uzate și au un miros închis - este totuși specific acestor zone cu umiditate ridicată. Din câte am văzut s-a început renovarea hotelului . Faptul ca nu au un restaurant a la carte în adevărat îl sens al cuvântului dar cred ca cel de pe plajă va avea acest rol. Ce oferă la acest moment este mai mult un fast food. Sunt restaurante în zonă pentru cei care aleg doar mic dejun.

Overall it was a pleasant stay, for our short holiday. The staff really accommodate us.

I liked that we were close enough to the beach and the day beds.

The bathroom was not clean, the shower was not draining well, and the toilets were just old.

Superb Stay in Diani

The Property have a very clean beach with white sands..the staffs was polite..the best value for money resort compared to other same category resorts.It also has a sumptuous buffet breakfast

Es war ok, aber mehr nicht und keine 4 Sterne

Die Lage des Hotels, Strand, Aussicht mit Meerblick, Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, Zimmergröße. Qualität des Essens überwiegend gut.

Das Hotel hat definitiv seine besten Jahre hinter sich. Mir ist unerklärlich, wie diese gute Bewertungen zustande kommen. Als Vielreisender auf allen Kontinenten war ich in Anbetracht von 4 Sternen und den Beschreibungen eher enttäuscht. Anlage: Groß, grün aber ca. 1/2 aller Einrichtungen geschlossen. Spa? Lächerlich, 2 ehemalige Gästezimmer mit Massageliegen. Immerhin waren die Massagen günstig. Das Personal sehr freundlich, aber doch völlig unkoordiniert. Tische werden teilweise ewig nicht abgeräumt, obwohl zigfach Servicepersonal vorbeiläuft. Strandservice mal ja, meist aber nicht. Wenn jemand kommt, dauert es ewig bis Getränke da sind. Nur eine kleine schäbige Strandbar am Ende des Strandes. Die eigentliche Strandbar wegen „Renovierung“ geschlossen. Gearbeitet wurde dort 1 Tag. Buffet: Zu 2/3 tgl. das Gleiche. Brot katastrophal. 2 mal frisches Brot in 14 Tagen, selbst zum Frühstück (falls überhaupt vorhanden) nur altes bzw. aufgetautes Brot. Ständig fehlten entweder Gläser oder Besteck am Büffet. Dessert war meist 1 Stunde vor Ende schon vergriffen und wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Sauberkeit im Zimmer war zufriedenstellend, allerdings waren die Badfugen verschimmelt, die Holztür ziemlich verwittert. Meines Erachtens fehlt es diesem eigentlich schönen Hotel an Strukturen seitens des Managements. Ich vergleiche das Hotel nicht mit europ. Standards, doch wenn ich europ. Preise zahle in einem Land, in dem der Durchschnittslohn bei 60/70 € im Monat liegt, erwarte ich mehr. Zumal meine Reiseerfahrungen zeigen, dass es besser geht.

Good choice, no regrets, recommended!

Located on a beautiful stretch of beach with white sand in Diani Beach. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Nice view from the Sea View room, overlooking the beach and ocean. Would stay at this property again!

WiFi could be faster. Sellers on the beach can be annoying. Beware of monkeys, even though they are fun to watch. We liked the interior of Bustani Garden room more them Sea View Room.

Great property, no major complaints, would stay at this property again!

Located on a beautiful stretch of beach with white sand in Diani Beach. Friendly staff. First 2 nights we stayed at so called Bustani Gardens. Loved the room. It was spacious with nice balcony overlooking the garden. Few pools at disposal. Food was delicious. Lots of monkeys, so be carefull when eating outside or carrying bananas in hand, but they were also fun to watch. One day baby turtles were realeased in the ocean from hotel beach. I would stay at this property again!

WiFi was a bit slow, but at least it was working. We were on vacation, so we had plenty of time to deal with slow internet. Sellers on the beach were a bit annoying, but they too need to earn some money, since life there is not easy.

Excellent! I would go back

This is a very good 4 star resort.Perfect location! beautiful resort, on the beach. Good pools. the architecture is top, from the beach we only see the thatch roofs we can see the white buildings. The beac beds and service are good. The beach is well kept and maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean All staff is 5 stars! the security is excellent, you can be on the beach and they look after you so the vendors do not bother you

The resort has some years and some parts need upgrade. The beach restaurant a bit slow The wifi needs to be improved

A hotel in a wonderful place but with poor management

The location was great, the staff was friendly and helpful.

We received a room smelling bad, full of humidity, not possible to sleep there. We asked to be moved and the other room has same problem plus a glass door that was not possible to lock. The food was not good and expensive, the access to the restaurant was conditioned on a dress code (no flip flops, or bikini, etc) and the enforcement of this measure was not fair, banning some guests and allowing others to access.

Very good resort for beach and golf holiday.

Very big territory with amazing gardens, pools, ponds. Connected Golf Resort with very affordable prices. Spacious rooms. Guarded beach. Live music in the evening. The best food we had on our 2 weeks trip in Kenya. I am talking only about buffet restaurant for B&B, HB and FB. Indian dishes are finger-licking. Other restaurants are not so good. Good team of animators to play volleyball, table tennis, etc. Right at the beach, but mind tides schedule - don't think you'll be able to swim the entire day. Of course it refers to the whole coast, not to the hotel.

Huge problem with WiFi, It is a disaster. I am not talking about watching TV series online. It was not possible to work anywhere not only in the room. Their networks are like a mirage. Disappearing every second minute. Hope the management will do something in the nearest future. Beware monkeys, don't leave anything on the balcony and close sliding doors.

Pretty decent facility, the rooms are a little dated and the showers too could use some upgrades.

Views from the seaview rooms are great.

The property is on a cliff unlike the other hotels along the Diani Beach.

Very good

Overall a fantastic property and great service. One incident however was quite horrid, but the GM dealt with it well.

The Security Manager was a racist horrible person who belittled a friend who was joining my colleague and I for a meeting over lunch in the restaurant, causing great embarrassment. Behaviour that must not be tolerated.

Superb

We had a great time in Diamonds Leisure with my wife. The staff was super nice and the area of the resort is really beautiful. We found a great deal during the off-season so also the price was very attractive. Eating breakfast on the terrace with an ocean view was an amazing start of the day. We loved this place!

You can easily see it is not the newest hotel and some areas need improvement. It was not a big deal for us but if someone is extremely picky he/she might be disappointed. And the cost of dinner is really too high (4000 KES).

Rooms and food are average, it's a big facility so I was expecting much more. Especially for dinner, there is no separate menu except a buffet, which doesn't make sense if someone is not interested in the buffet. Also, a day restaurant on the beach is average and expensive.

Great stay, we came back. Had a great deal via booking.com

We upgraded to a room with seaview and it was great to see the sunrise every morning. The food is good and plenty with every day, local, international and asian, mainly indian dishes. Staff is great.

I love good coffee so it would have been nice if that was included but you can buy it at the bar for sh 300.

Had racism issues against Asians

The breakfast was good, there was variety. The property had a beach property, and the swimming pools were nice. The staff on the reception initially was cold but they warmed up in the end.

Well, apart from the large cockroaches in the room and getting electrocuted twice, we faced issues of racism in the hotel. Here is a letter I emailed the hotel while I’m staying which I never got a reply back…typical. “Hi GM, Reservation, Front desk, We are staying in your resort, the Diamond Leisure Beach and Golf Resort in Diani. We find the environment lovely, the rooms clean and the location ideal. We would just like to share our personal experience about how we felt that your hotel staff were racist towards us. We were on our way to breakfast this morning when we were stopped from entering. We asked why, and the two staff said that we are wearing shorts above our knee (two of us), one of us is wearing tank top and one of us is wearing beach sandals. They showed us a picture of what not to wear in the restaurant that was posted in the wall. First, this rule was not communicated to us when we checked in the day before (in the afternoon), nor was there any guidance packet in the room. You see, our room is on the D block and we would have to walk to the restaurant and back to change. Second, we felt very embarrassed when we were stopped, as people were obviously staring at us. We kindly discussed for several minutes and I was ready to head back to the room and change as I felt that the lady was disinterested of our reason, but my companion argued that we are far from the restaurant and we were not informed, so the hotel should at least extend the courtesy to let us in and have our breakfast peacefully. Which the male staff did, and we are thankful. Well, since we already there, I clarified what attire is allowed and prohibited. And the same response from both the male and female staff. They reiterated again that tank tops for men, beach sandals, shorts, for women, bathing suits, and spaghetti straps are not allowed. We went in to have our breakfast, and alas!

A lovely stay overall

The beach area was amazing. We got to experience turtles hatching and going into the ocean. The staff were polite and always ready to help. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping done very well. Breakfast variety was really good. We travelled with a toddler and were accommodated very well.

The phones in our rooms weren't functioning. We kept going aaaalll the way to the reception to ask for assistance and they kept promising they would fix them but never did. Food (dinner) variety can be better. Not too much to choose from.

Beautiful stay in Diani Beach

Brilliant location and facilities, right on the sea front with multiple pools. Everyone was incredibly kind and happy to help us. Also allowed us to check out late as we had an evening flight booked.
