Que dire... Notre séjour était absolument incroyable !
La chambre est super, très propre, le cadre de l'hôtel est magnifique (on a pu voir des écureuils géants du Sri Lanka et des mangoustes juste en face de la chambre).
Le gérant et son fils sont adorables. Aux petits soins pour vous, faire en sorte que votre séjour se passe bien. D'ailleurs tout le personnel de l'hôtel est très gentil.
Nous avons choisi de faire le Safari avec eux, déjà car comparé à d'autres hôtels ou guesthouses le prix de la jeep est abordable (8000 pour la jeep).
L'expérience du Safari était exceptionnelle, nous avons eu beaucoup de chances car nous avons pu voir une trentaine d'éléphants. Notre chauffeur, Gihan, a été parfait, très gentil, très respectueux du lieu et des animaux, il avait l'oeil pour repérer les oiseaux dans les arbres.
Si nous revenons un jour à Udawalawe, nous reviendrons à Nature House sans hésiter !

TOUT Un havre de paix tout en se sentant entouré. L’accueil, le petit déjeuner copieux et le rice and curry excellent (c’est la première fois que je réussissais à en manger). Le patron nous avait organisé le safari pour le lendemain matin. Il s’est également occupé de nous trouver un tuk tuk pour descendre à Tangalle (2 h en s’arrêtant plusieurs fois tellement la route est belle). Merci

Delicious food especially the Sri Lanka buffet. Feeling to be at home at a good friend, lovely personnel and great spot to start a safari. The pool area was great to relax!

We loved everything! Family run accom surrounded by nature! So many birds to watch and we even saw a family of mongoose! The dinner and breakfast was delicious and included in the price! Such great value for money. The room was comfortable and the pool area just amazing! We got a safari organised by the hotel which was a highlight and great value for money. The owner was so nice and chatted to us about animals and the history of the hotel. His son picked us up from Ella and also dropped us down to the beach. Great driver. The hotel was immaculate and the attention to detail around the hotel was really beautiful. We would love to stay again one day. Thanks again :)

Geweldig verblijf dichtbij Udawalawe national park. Het personeel is er super vriendelijk en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Kamers zijn volledig in orde en zeer schoon. Prijs-kwaliteit was dit de beste overnachting in Sri Lanka!

Es war alles perfekt. Ganz herzlicher Gastgeber, mit dem man auch den ein oder anderen deutschen Satz wechseln konnte. Das Abendessen war ein Traum, der Laundry Service super schnell und zuverlässig. Zu einem Top-Preis haben wir eine private Safari mit dem hauseigenen Jeep gebucht. Für etwas weniger als 50€ waren wir ab 6 Uhr morgens den halben Tag im Nationalpark unterwegs und haben dabei noch ein leckeres Frühstück genossen. Die kürzere Tour ist mit 25€ dann sogar ein echtes Schnäppchen und ebenso toll organisiert!
Der neue Pool ist einfach wunderschön und bei all dem Stress, den wir vorher auf der Reise hatten, tat es wirklich gut hier im Grünen einfach mal zu entspannen.
Bei der Weiterreise nach Weligama konnte uns auch mit einem Fahrer zu einem angemessenen Preis weitergeholfen werden.

C’est établissement est simplement parfait pour une famille en quête de détente et pour un petit safari organiser avec les véhicules de l’hôtel.
Les chambre sont très propre et confortable. Elles sont également spacieuses et la salle de bains est un vrai plus.
La piscine toute neuve est magnifique.
Le buffet que je vous recommande pour le soir est impeccable, varié, pas trop épicé et cuisiné sur place le soir même.
L’hospitalité des hôtes est juste sans failles.
Si je devrais proposer une piste d’amélioration, je suggérerais un routeur wifi supplémentaire près de la piscine.

Es war eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit super Lage zum Park. Die Unterkunft ist in einem super Zustand und alles ist sehr sehr sauber! Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist unfassbar gut.
Der Gastgeber ist sehr herzlich. Er spricht sogar ein wenig deutsch und ist sehr entgegenkommend. Wir haben abends gefragt, ob er uns einen Ort für eine Massage empfehlen kann. Er hat dann alles organisiert, und sogar hingefahren und auch wieder abgeholt.
Wir hatten nur Frühstück in der Unterkunft, aber dieses war sehr lecker. Das beste Omelette, das wir bisher auf unserer Reise hatten. Und wir haben sogar noch ein zweites bekommen, weil wir es so lecker fanden.
Wir haben über den Gastgeber eine Safari gebucht, der Guide war sehr freundlich und konnte gutes Englisch.
Der Gastgeber hat uns dann auch noch die Weiterfahrt nach Tangalle zu einem sehr fairen Preis organisiert.
Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen, insbesondere, da auch grade noch ein Pool gebaut wird!

Perfect base for safaris to Udawalawe National Park. The hotel organised a great safari tour and paired me up with another solo traveller which helped reduce the costs for us both.The buffet dinner was brilliant! The facilities are modern and the rooms are massive. Brilliant value for money.

Das beste Hotel auf unserer Sri Lanka-Reise, weil sehr sauber und gemütlich und besonders nettes Personal (Familie).
Wir empfehlen sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen zu buchen. Morgens gibt es ein sehr gutes Frühstück und abends ein selbstgemachtes großes Currybuffet (super lecker).
Auch die Safari haben wir direkt über das Hotel gebucht (6 a.m.). Unser Guide war sehr gut ausgebildet und hat für uns ein perfektes Erlebnis geschaffen. Besonders erwähnenswert, dass er sehr rücksichtsvoll und respektvoll im Umgang mit allen Tieren im Nationalpark war.

The place is just awesome, the owner and his family are lovely. The rooms are sparkling clean and very comfortable.

Please do not hesitate and go visit nature house ASAP.
Last tip: in case you arrive late, let your host know that you want to have dinner so that he can plan accordingly. Unfortunately Sri Lanka is pretty quiet these days…

The Lonely Planet assessment is fitting - this was probably the best place we stayed in during our trip. Rooms very pleasant, food very good and the host very efficient and friendly. The armchairs in front of the room facing the jungle forest were a nice bonus.

The host is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The location is quiet and wooded with good views of birds, including 2 scops owls. The rooms are spacious and clean, with air conditioning and very comfy beds. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious... a great selection of curries in the evening, with great vegetarian choices to meet our request. The owner has his own jeeps, and so we arranged a trip into Udawalawe National Park, which gave us great views of elephants. The value for money is exceptional! We will definitely go again if we holiday in the area in the future.

Extremely helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble.
We booked a safari with Nature House and it was excellent. Our guide spoke English and was very knowledgeable. We often drive away from the other vehicles and could sit and watch herds of elephants by ourselves. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you!

First of all, the rooms are amazing - definitely the best we’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka. They were extremely spacious, clean and airy. We wanted to stay a second night purely for the room, the food and the host! His wife made the curry buffet and it was one of the best curries we had ever had, and lunch and breakfast were also delicious and very reasonably priced. It was perfected located for a safari and a visit to the elephant transit home (only a walk away). Finally, the host was so welcoming and helpful, and nothing was too much to ask. Thank you!!

Exceptionally helpful owner, who organised a great safari. He was lovely with the children. The dinner was excellent each evening with plenty of options on the buffet. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with good ac and a fan.
