Heerlijke plek.... hier wil je eigenlijk niet meer weg

Cafe Wayan voelde niet als hotel maar meer als thuiskomen... een heerlijk ontspannen sfeer met uiterst zorgzaam en vriendelijk personeel.

Struttura vetusta e mal mantenuta

Esterni della struttura carini e caratteristici

L'arredamento delle camere risulta poco curato ed è scarsa la manutenzione con zanzariere rotte ed arrugginite. Abbiamo utilizzato il servizio di lavanderia ma i capi sono tornati non puliti e non stirati nonostante ci fosse stato venduto il servizio.

Solid budget choice

Spent three nights at Cafe Wayan Cottages. A simple place, but comfortable enough for two of us. Positives: good price, breakfast included, freeflow tea/coffee/water, small pool

Negatives: Wi-Fi not the best; water for shower never really got hotter than lukewarm. Found Senggigi quite limiting though. Not a great deal going on there.

Schönes ruhiges Hotel mit zentraler Lage und sehr netten Menschen

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich gut gelegen, dennoch sehr ruhig und außerdem gut eingerichtet. Das Bad ist unglaublich groß und es gibt einen abgetrennten Duschbereich. Auch die Pool-Area ist sehr schön :) Das Frühstück war lecker, es gibt vergleichsweise viel Auswahl! Insbesondere hervorzuheben sind die Angestellten, die wirklich super nett waren und sich um uns gekümmert haben. Sogar unser Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gesäubert und das Bett wurde gemacht. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und würden immer wieder kommen!

Le personnel est très gentil et disponible pour nos différentes demandes ; petit déjeuner très bien ( fruit , panini, tartines , café ) . Très bel endroit, calme , bar de plage juste en face , supérette à côté Bref impeccable

A quiet retreat

Although the hotel is located along the main road, the room is relatively quiet as it is further from the road. Its Balinese style building structure exudes a sense of peace and tranquility. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good for hotels at this price.

The hotel is worn out. Some areas need proper repair and spruce up. This is quite common in Lombok as the island is badly affected by the major earth quake in 2018 followed by pandemic in the last few years. Hope there are more tourists returning to this lovely island.

Balinese charm in Senggigi

This place is something special. The staff was super kind (special mention for Nyoman, she's fantastic!). They got everything to make us feels very comfortable and gave us tips. The rooms are very spacious (we were in 3 of them), quiet, comfortable, and clean. The balconies were really nice for us to have some privacy to do some work and still we could enjoy the garden and the view of the pool. Definitely coming back there if we visit Lombok again!

Nice and clean rooms, we also liked the pool and garden. Breakfast was as everywhere - eggs, jaffles or pancakes, toasts, fruits and coffee or tea. Supermarket and nice restaurants on the neighborhood. Beach is ok for swimming, but not the best in Lombok.

Location is across the big road.

Great place to stay

Good location; the beach, restaurants and two supermarkets within walking distance. However, if you'd like to do or see anything else, you will need a taxi or rent a car/scooter. Even though it is a near the busy road, it was very nice and quiet. The terrain of the hotel has some steps, so be aware when you are having mobility troubles. The staff is more than happy to help. The room was a superior two persons room; a spacious double room with a two persons bed, tile floor, airconditioning, a closet, a desk and 1 chair. The bathroom contained: refillable containers with soap and shampoo, two towels, two glasses, handsoap and two bottles of water. No additional facilities like toothbrushes or so. The towels, bed, pillow, and blanket were fine. The room was cleaned every day, but the towels or bed was not. I believe you can aks for this if needed, but I did not. The pool/pool area and restaurant/reception are very nice. Beautiful elements of the indonesian culture everywhere. Well taken care of "garden". The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. It is a lovely place and if you are not concerned about the remoteness, a great place to stay!

WiFi wasn't that strong, so don't expect too much. There was no tv, safe, or fridge.

Very good

It was an accomodation in a Bali style, pretty nice, with a pool and a breakfast. Room was nice, large with AC, reasonably clean and quiet and staff was helpful. The beach was nearby as well as the grocery shop.

Senggigi is some 10-15 minutes walking away, as well as the restaurants.

Very accomodating. Let us change plans at last minute regarding our stay. If it wasn’t for senggigi being such a ghost town this place would be packed every night.

the glory days of Senggigi seem to be in the past, during our stay in November it was basically a ghost town.

really nice staff, big room and bathroom

there was a nest of ants in the bathroom but the staff removed them quickly after we showed them so it wasn‘t a big deal.

Comfortable stay

Very large bungalow style room with very nice verandah and daybed. Like the balinese style. Quiet and private hotel. Nice pool. Good restaurants across rd on beach. Good stay for price.

Bathroom could do with upgrade but still large and functional and what you expect for the price.

Best choice ever!

We loved the whole stay there! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful! The breakfast and all the food we had there was amazing, various and really tasty. The pool in the back is really cool at night! The location is perfect, the beach is just 200m away. We loved our room and terrace also! They even stored our luggages for us while we took a trip to the Gilis. We can speak about this property only in superlatives!
