Best stay in PE by far! Great value for money, just great all-around, faultless.

Breakfast, Property, Room, Hosts, Solar = no loadshedding, Modern Appliances - TV's, Fans etc. - all exceeded expectations!

Nothing - better book fast, this is the go-to place in PE!

Sehr schöne Villa in Port Elisabeth

Die Unterkunft war noch schöner als ich erwartet hatte. Ein tolles Bad, bequeme Betten, große helle Räume. Der Garten mit den Palmen und dem Pool war sehr gepflegt und hat zum Aufenthalt eingeladen. Der Frühstücksraum war liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten hier das beste Frühstück unserer 2 wöchigen Reise bekommen. Alle Müsli Sorten, frisches Obst, eine Auswahl an leckeren Yoghurts, verschiedene Säfte, verschiedene Toast Brote. Die Eier waren lecker zubereitet und der Schinken endlich mal Cross. Die Vermieterin war ein so herzlicher und hilfsbereiter Mensch wie ich selten noch getroffen habe. Die Gegend in der sich die Villa befindet ist sicher, dennoch empfiehlt es sich in Port Elisabeth nicht abends spazieren zu gehen. Mit dem Auto war das alles kein Problem.

Wonderful hosts and beautiful property!

Beautiful house and gardens. Very comfortable. Wonderful hosts who were very responsive, helpful, and accommodating to our needs. Delicious breakfast on the verandah overlooking busy bird feeders. Good recommendation for restaurant for dinner, and easy to get an Uber there (altho hosts also offered a ride for a reasonable fee). Would highly recommend this property!

Great location and facilities. Hayley and Hennie are super helpfull and give tips and tricks on what to see/do in the area. Nice breakfast in a cozy setting with great food and coffee

Must be the best guesthouse in Port Elizabeth! Everything is perfect and luxurious. Lovely big room, beautiful bathroom, and all facilities one needs.Massive screen TV with cable TV. Breakfast scrumptious. Lovely garden.Ver friendly hosts Really enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful place with beautiful hosts

Hennie and Hailey are very kind and openminded hosts with a great sense of hospitality. During our short stay, we had very interesting conversations with them and they gave us some excellent advices regarding restaurants and things to see in the Port Elizabeth area. The guest house is lovely, with a beautiful and very peaceful garden, located in a nice and safe area. Our room was very spacious and impeccably clean. The bed was very large and comfortable. We also enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast in a picturesque dining area. We would choose Millbury Guest House again when going to back Port Elizabeth and happily recommend it to family and friends. Thanks a lot Hennie and Hayley and hope to see you again some day.

Comfortable and luxurious. We felt completely at home and like family.

Perfect, quiet location set amongst upscale homes and leafy gardens - convenient to everything! Our hosts, Hennie and Haley, could not do enough to make our stay pleasant, comfortable and memorable. We will most certainly stay at Millbury on our next visit to Port Elizabeth.

Exceptional

Hosts were ultra friendly. Really cared about everything. Printed a map of the national park and the route to it to explain us everything we need to know and also gave as a binocular for better animal observation. Always up for a chat. Room was los very nice. Big and comfortable.

Amazing place

Whole place was really amazing. It was a relief after we spend a night at Rivierstorm which we didnt enjoy and we had very mediocore room before. In Milbury we had great apartmant which was really big with big bed. Apartment was very spacious and cozy. We had little porch with pool wiev which was amazing. Pool area was really nice as well. There was also private parking which was very nice We would definetely stay there again

Perfect hosts for a perfect night over.

Beautifully quiet and tranquil rooms on a stunning property. The owners are the friendliest people and go the extra mule to make you feel comfortable. Breakfasts are lovely. Despite being in a very central location in PE, it feels like you’re in the countryside.

Your search for the best guesthouse is over! This is it. Amazing experience.

Our experience couldn't have been better! The guesthouse was set in a lovely, secluded, gated garden. It was easy to find, near main arteries of the city, but tucked away on a very quiet street. The room was immaculately clean and provided a microwave, refrigerator, water and snacks, and toiletries. We appreciated their efforts to mitigate load-shedding with limited internal electricity and water heating for when the country's systems go down. The cooked-to-order breakfast every morning was wonderful. The best part was the friendship we felt from Hennie and Hayley. They were extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and general conversation to help us understand the area and culture. This is a dream guesthouse in every way that I would heartily recommend. We stayed for three nights and felt very well cared for. I really couldn't imagine a better experience. They truly care about their guests and it shows.

Uncomfortable due to the bad treatment we received.

The Guesthouse is beautiful however we’ve never been treated this way before. You could swear we hadn’t paid 😡

Breakfast was the worst, same breakfast for three days, 5 mushrooms and one bacon with the driest sausage ever. Henny was such a bad host he couldn’t even hide it. Most disappointing was when we were refused to use the braai facilities which we were told that they had an “Important Guest” from Overseas and he can’t be affected by the smoke😡😡😡 so there are more guests important then others? Total Racism…. He didn’t even want us to enter the gate with our transport instead he said we shud wait outside the gate. If u are African Stay AWAY!!! Racism was on another level.. however Haylee was sweet shame she tried even thou it didn’t do much since the big boss cudnt wait for us to leave !!!! He kept walking up to us everything 5minutes to complain abt petty things until we had to tell him that he’s making us so uncomfortable.

Amazing stay in PE

Spacious, clean and tidy rooms, peaceful and hospitable atmosphere, really enjoyed our stay and this place will be in my reco list for my peeps!!! I'm grateful for welcoming us and huge thanks to owners, it's definitely home away from home! Absolutely spotless =)

Wonderful hosts!Beautiful house with perfect clean pool and wonderfu garden. . We had 2 specious rooms with big comfortable beds. Breakfast was very tasty and excellent coffee ! Hennie and Hayle are very helpful and eagerly give you any information you need. Thank you again!

Great stay in PE

This was a great stay, we were made to feel very welcome and the property is lovely. It's a short ride away from restaurants and bars and we got good recommendations from the owners. The room was massive and comfortable with a great bathroom, it has blackout blinds (always a bonus!) so we were able to sleep in. We had a great breakfast and chatted to the lovely owners, they have a real pride for the place and we learned about the local birds who come visit. We'd definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed Millbury. It was a lovely big unit and spotlessly clean. They have a beautiful big garden with a lovely swimming pool. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Our daughter is vegetarian and Harley specially arranged something for her at very short notice as we booked and checked in around 16h00. This Guest House is a touch above the rest and I can definitely recommend Millbury.
