Had everything we needed.
We couldn’t get the wifi to connect.
4.5
solid hotel on the beach - bit of a journey into the centre but only a few minutes walk to the station so the train is cheap and easy to get into town (30min train ride)
hotel has a decent bar and restaurant cafe around the corner and obviously the beach across the road
nothing - decent stay maybe a little overpriced but then australia is a rip off

I think this building is truly an heritage building with 140 years of history. You could stay as a balcony, but the balcony is a shared space and all guest can access. Any guest in the balcony could see through the window into the guest room. It's a bit awkward.
1. I was told Room 6 was in heritage side, while all I can see from my window is a modern rooftop and nothing more. No sight or any so call heritage, but I booked the 'heritage room'.
2. During 7 pm to 11 pm, room 6 was really noise, I couldn't sleep at all. I think the noise come from the downstairs restaurant or bar. But if you are a sleep-early guy, I don't recommend you to stay here.
3. The reception is really hard to find. You'll have to ask why the staff for direction, while sometimes the staff is not so easy to find. I wonder why there is no direction map or any guiding sign for first-time guests' benefit. I ATTACHED A GOUND FLOOD MAP FOR YOU IF YOU WANT TO FIND OUT WHERE IS THE RECEPTION.
4. Can't pay online with booking.com.

Room was clean, great location right on the beach.
Carpet outside the rooms was filthy and smelt.

Location is great, the pub was clean friendly staff and great atmosphere

The heritage hotel is stunning.
The rooms are a bit too heritage with creeking floors , large wall cracks & the constant sound of flushing water from the floors above. Unfortunately, the cleanliness could have been better too.

Never disappoints - great staff - great location - rooms are fabulous

Excellent location, the history of the building, good room facilities
It’s not a big deal but could probably have in-room televisions access to Netflix an other streaming services

Clean
Well appointed

The room allows you pretend that you are staying with the well to do branch of your family.
Merely looking at the building and tells you that the place is special. I was upgraded to room 5, with a door out to the first floor balcony. Luxury, Lad. Luxury.
On a two night stay, the bed was not made after the first night. Picky, yes, but I wanted to maintain my delusions of grandeur for my entire stay.

Squeaky floor boards no toiletries table in rhe bathroom

Absolutely beautiful. Took me back in time when it was a prevalent hotel many years ago. Congratulations to those responsible for its maintenance it is a delight. Lovely staff and helpful no matter what. Just wish some rooms were available when I want to book 😂. Love it
Nothing
3.5
Historical old hotel near the pier and beach, good bed and sheets
No storage in bathroom, did not like that there was a casino you had to walk through as it negatively affected the feel of the old world charm.

Had the grilled king george whitting for dinner and for $42.00 was a bit of a small serving.

The Largs Pier Hotel convinces with a beautiful location on the beach, which could even be seen from my motel room. The room leaves little to be desired. Certainly one of the best hotels I have experienced in Australia in three weeks. The room service is top! The staff are friendly and supportive.
Without a car, the hotel is a bit far from the city centre and also from the nearest shopping facilities (except for the drinks market, which is in the immediate vicinity). In addition, it would be great if the door to the beach in the motel rooms could also be opened and locked from the outside.

Loved the generous sized room and the access to the balcony. Good quality block out curtains as well meant we had an uninterrupted sleep. Enjoyed the bath also.

Room was very comfortable, large and clean, Meals were good size and price

Everything you need for a comfortable longer stay (Lady Gowrie apartment) and nice area. Staff were friendly and helped me with my bags.
The room wasn't serviced over my 10 night stay (apologies given). The rooms need a good spring clean.

I love the history of this grand old building. the staff and the food are amazing.
There was mould in the shower, one of the drapes was hanging down in one corner and the self in the bathroom was coming unhinged.
4.5
Food is great, the staff were very accommodating and nice.
Hotel itself is lovely.
Stayed in the heritage rooms which are looking like they need a bit of a spruce up. I understand the hotel is 140 years old however, cracks in the walls, stained carpet, SQUEAKY FLOORS and the balcony balustrade is looking like it needs replacing.
4.5
The elegance of this Heritage Hotel is superb, the history in the walls you can all but hear and feel,
The most magnificent stair case....
Heritage rooms are exquisite
My knees didn't like the stairs
I was disappointed that my view was over the back of the pub 😕
