Exceptional

Like a home away from home. Cathy and crew looked after us like we were family, and the hotel is perfectly located, quiet and clean. Ideal stay, thank you!

Highly recommended!

Great breakfast, location, & helpful/knowledgable English speaking hosts. A large variety of foods and drinks for breakfast in a comfortable atmosphere, and a mature group of guests making for a relaxing and quiet stay. Spacious balconies in rooms above the road with a seemingly ever-present salty aroma of the sea. Falling asleep listening to the crashing waves late at night was superb. Lovely veranda cafe and bar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner dining.

Nothing, really. In fact, I have booked a longer stay with Hermes Hotel later in my travels. For rooms above the road with sea views, there was some traffic noise during the day which greatly diminished in the evening hours; with a room in the back it's not so noticeable.

Great hotel, great location and really friendly staff who may you feel at home from the first second

The most important aspect of any hotel are the people that run the show. Kathy and her family are an exceptional team who really care and look after their guests as if they were close friends or family. I would highly recommend staying at Hermes total.

There was an issue with shower but that was sorted as soon as I mentioned it.

Perfect place to stay in Kalymnos!

I liked everything!! The room was really nice and spotlessly clean, and so was the bathroom. The wifi connection was really good and I loved the breakfast in the morning. Always a good selection of fruits, greek yougurt, cheese, olives, ham, toasts, tomatoes, coffee, juice and more! The owner Kathy is super nice and always made me feel at home! 10 out of 10!

Couldn't have asked for more it was outstanding

Brilliant location, out the door and two mins onto the beach. 5 minutes max walk to the water taxi to take you to Telendos. I cannot put into words the hospitality and kindness of Kathy and Pete they are such genuine, caring and informative hosts who welcome you with such kindness. The whole hotel is immaculate, breakfast is outstanding buffet and everything is fresh (the bread is gorgeous). Not your cheap breakfast options, everything was top notch. Now to the rooms..I was blown away when we entered..beautifully decorated, the bed is so comfy if it wasn't for the fact of having to get up for the gorgeous breakfast you would lie there all day.The bed linen was snowy white. In the rooms there is strong wifi, hand sanitiser, hairdryer, mozzie plug in the drawer in case it is needed, tea/coffee etc replenished daily. I could not have wished for more in a room. Bathroom-once again immaculate, good size and powerful shower with snowy white towels. We joined (socially distanced) the owners one night and enjoyed a chat on the history of Kalymnos while eating prickly pears and figs. This is just one example of the kindness you will receive. Kathy and Pete obviously take great pride in their hotel and want the best for their holidaymakers. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Give it a go I assure you that you will not be disappointed. A special thank you to Kathy for your kindness on the day we left, you have left us with amazing lasting memories to treasure. Lisa and Davie
