A special place. An atmospheric house with a tavern. Very nice hosts.
Room modest, very clean, with a great view from the balcony. Delicious food in the tavern.
Mountain roads around with epic views, and within 1/2 hour many beautiful beaches such as Little Triopetra or Skinaria.
Regards Ewa and we will be back for sure.

The food is authentic and homemade which I love, and the owner, Eva, is very kind.
Unfortunately the bed was very hard and was hard to get used to it.

We had a four bed apartment for the two of us. It was spacious, immaculately clean with a small balcony and air-conditioning.
The view out over the Libyan Sea is outstanding.
We ate in the ground floor taverna - outside it, to be accurate. The food was fairly straightforward fare, but cooked with great care. It was delicious. Portions were not small.
There is adequate parking adjacent to the hotel
Nothing to dislike.
Note that the village is accessible by a mountain road with aspirations to become a fairground ride.
Upon arrival in the village, there is a sign for the property, on the left, taking you up a steep section of road and with the supermarket on your right. First left under an imposing arch, and there you are.

It's nice place, big apartments with balcony, very clean, in same building also nice taverna with very good and cheap food, big portions.
It's a bit far from anything...

The price, very low.
View from the balcony, which is big, was very nice.
No darkening curtain, we woke up very early.
Bathroom is getting wet while showering.
Beds not very comfortable, and blankets without covers.
It's also very small, not as expected, barely any room for suitcase.

It was well situated and clean. Good proximity to Katsouni and Ligres beaches. The issue with hot water was quickly resolved by the staff.

An excellent stay. We loved the taverna- really good Cretan food. The staff were lovely, true Greek hospitality!
There really wasn't anything we didn't like.

We arrived in Kerames, at akrontiki during our first day in Crete. It was charming and lovely to discover this place on the mountain, where wind was blowing and air was so cool as compared to the hot weather in the highland. The view from the balcony was amazing, down the hill to the sea and the atmosphere was charming. the day after with a 15 minutes ride we could visit Preveli, one of the most amazing beach in Crete (and coming by that side we even avoided the stip walk down the sea which is usually used by tourists).

the room we were in ( number 1) was a little small

We really appreciated the price quality ratio - you could have tidy quiet room in a low price
In the pension there was a nice restaurant with cuisine made of local ingredients: eggs, cheese, honey, fig jam, asparagus, rakia, wine, etc
There could be more kitchen facilities
9.0
The view from the balcony. The little nightlife at the village center. Conformist hosts.

It was a perfect stay. Great and quiet location in a small mountain village. Very friendly family owners. Delicious food at the tavern just below the rooms. Beautiful beaches a short drive away.
6.0
The price.
The mosquito net - the only place on Crete where we stayed which had it.
The host.
The way to the hotel is quite a difficult drive but is exciting as well.
Free parking available.
Tavern and shop downstairs.
15 min drive to Preveli beach.
Don't expect much for this price.
But I can't understand the positive reviews here.
The bed, every time one person moves, the other will move as well, because the mattress is like a trampolin.
The room is very small, there is no space to put your luggage.
There was no hot water :(
No facilities like hairdryer - we had to ask it.
Our neighbours were loud :(
The tavern downstairs ran by host seems abandoned but it serves on request.
We didn't feel welcomed much.

Room is above a garment store. The landlady is the proprietress and therefore was always there for a chat and always offered coffee. Made me very welcome.

Very clean, good localisation 15 min to the palm beach, super nice owner, quiet place.
Too hard bed
