Charmant hotel met excellente service,

Gezellig oud hotel doch goed onderhouden Zeer vriendelijk personeel ‘s avonds lekker gegeten voor een goede prijs 👍

Misschien een klein minpuntje de oude draai trap maar is echt het enige

Charmant nostalgisch hotelletje...

Het restaurant (avondeten)...is heel lekker en goed! Ook het ontbijt is aangenaam lekker... De ligging van het hotel is heel goed...overal dichtbij

Vooral het lawaai van de chauffage in de kamer was een tegenvaller. Het getik vd leidingen achter de muur, is ook waarschijnlijk door de ouderdom vh pand maar zou toch kunnen opgelost worden...ook af en toe onaangename douche gehad met afwisselingen van warm en koud water...

The environment was very pretty & I looked for something calm & it absolutely payed off.

Possible a cultural difference but everytime we sat somewhere it took forever for someone to serve us.

Nice location, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious as well. Breakfast was good and dinner in the restaurant was tasty and affordable.

Not all staff speaks English which makes communication a bit challenging at times. Certain interior aspects could use a bit of updating, such as the damaged upholstery in the breakfast location.

Lovely old traditional hotel and a great stop as we traveled south.

This is a lovely old traditional hotel. The dining room is exceptional!

unfortunately the hotel bar and restaurant are closed on a Wednesday. Stayed here last year and the restaurant was fantastic. Also, last year, enjoyed having a cold beer on the terrace!

short stay...

It had its charmes... The room was clean and the bathroom was big. The beds were also comfortable and the stuff was friendly.

The hotel passed his glory, everrything was a bit crooked, misplaced . You could see it is a family hotel because of all the mess laying around in the hall (clothes, shoes, toys, appeljuice etc...) The water in the shower was a challange: sometimes hot, sometimes cold, sometimes high preassure, sometimes dripping;

A great stay in an establishment full of character.

Location was very good. Walks and hikes could start at the hotel. The caves - which were worthwhile - were just around the corner. Breakfast was good, not abundant, but everything you needed was there. I liked the nice lady that attended breakfast 🙂. Dinner was very good, the restaurant was very stylish. We enjoyed a drink on the nice terrace, after our walk. Although our room was at the back (no view), it was very quiet because you did not have the streetnoise. The room was very clean and everything was there that you needed. Good beds. We loved the well kept unique character of the house. Even the toilets on the ground floor were still maintained in the old style, so nice. The owners were very nice.

In the middle of both nights that we stayed, we heard people talk lively in the attic above our room.

An excellent journey through time, nature and new friendships.

The hotel is an exceptional one. Its walls talk history. I had a wonderful room and a very spacious bathroom. Breakfast was typically continental. The restaurant cuisine is impeccable and the restaurant itself is so beautiful.

I was there on a long weekend and it was extremely busy. One could see that they had a lack of staff, especially during the day, and there were some delays in serving. Moreover, some waiters can work under stress and still be friendly but others can be rude.

The charm of the past.

Contrary to some reviews, the staff was very friendly and helpful! The dinner at the terrace was very good, Service prompt! Recommended! Room spacious. hotel old style with the charm of the past. Breakfast was good. Although on a busy location, with the dubble glass it was quite inside.

Excellent location near to attractions and main roads,Comfortable bed, hot powerful shower,good breakfast, very helpful and friendly host, plenty of free parking outside the hotel. Petrol station and super market nearby.

Great!

The staff was very friendly! We arrived very late and the staff helped us bringing our bags to the room. After a good night, we enjoyed the breakfast. The location of the hotel is great and the whole building is "breathening" an historic atmosphere. We will come back one day!

A wonderful place to stay, full of tradition and charm. The food in the restaurant was superb and served the best filet

Great family hotel. With a great restaurant.

Awesome hotel comfortabel family hotel. Nice location. We got a great room for a great price. The bathroom was very new. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was very tastefull.

An authentic experience in the midst of the nature and good food

It's a very well preserved hotel +250 years old and with authentic elements. The room was very cosy with a very fancy bathroom (jacuzzi and italian shower). We had dinner at the restaurant, professional service and tasteful food with a good variety of options. High standard wine options, we loved it! Parking wise there are plenty of options (in front of the hotel or along the street). Lovely view on the river and forest.

We had some troubles sleeping at first since the guests next door were very noisy - but that's not the hotel's fault, unrespectful guests are everywhere :( Maybe they should consider isolating the floor a bit more but again, it was not their fault.

Exceptional

Everything was lovely, the room very tidy and clean and with a lot of facilities, some of them you don’t always find. The view was very nice, with a river in front of the hotel. They have a restaurant as well and the food is delicious. Breakfast was included and you had so many you could choose from. Definitely will go there again if I have the chance.

Booked this hotel for 1 night. We got a room upgrade and a hearty breakfast. Friendly Staff.

No lift but staff were nice and offered us help to carry our luggages which was not really needed.
