Excellent staff and well managed
Directly opposite a night club, the club its self wasn’t noisy, just the customers when they were outside, request a room away from the front if you like quiet.
3.5
Its spacious, clean and has all you need, staff are friendly and helpful.
No hooks in bathroom to hang clothes while bathing.

The lady on the first night behind the counter was very friendly. Beds were big, as were the rooms. The location was excellent.
The Second Lady was arrogant and rude in reception, didn’t even acknowledge us walking in. Room was very grotty. Toilet was filthy with pee stains all up the outsides. Bathroom was dusty. Skirting boards was filthy. Carpet was really grotty too. One window wouldn’t open and room was so hot. Noise from screaming drunk girls from the night club was not ideal at 3am with a 7 month old baby. Breakfast was not very big so if you have a big appetite I’d suggest asking for more than one item because that’s all you get. Lift was broken and with a pushchair it’s not ideal if not ok ground floor.

Room size good and clean
Breakfast style and lift not cleaned.

Room was good for the money
No Wi-Fi but they instantly offered me another room however the Wi-Fi issue does need to be addressed imo apart from that can’t fault it

Great location and a great price. We just wanted somewhere to "crash" after a family get together and it served us well. Not new but clean and friendly.
Could do with updating a bit and due to roadworks nearby there was a slight detour - not the hotels fault and likely sorted soon.

great price-quality. Good location.

We booked 7 rooms in total and they were all completely different. One was clean with new carpets but the others were abit smelly with old and stained carpets. One had stained bedsheets, which I feel is unacceptable.
The bathrooms are fine but need updating.
It could all do with some updating but for the price it was fine.
I wouldn't go back in a hurry but the local is central.
Originally we had booked for 1 night, on arrival we decided to stay for a 2nd night. I went on to booking.com and the price was £49 per room. I asked the lady on reception and she said they would match the price but when I went to pay it came up as £54 per room. I questioned this with her and her response was 'well that's just the price that come up'. I thought this was a little bit unreasonable and there was no effort to amend the price.

Breakfast was excellent. Catered very well for our puppy.
Very noisy as room was opposite nightclub.

Great budget hotel !

Staff were friendly
Terrible stay, hotel was in bad condition. They gave us a dirty room at first that hadn't been cleaned they did however give us a different room but it was in bad condition windows didn't shut properly and there was a nightclub straight opposite that I was not told about. People were fighting in street and I feared for my car outside.
3.5
Very well run by very friendly staff.
I will definitely be staying here again in the future.
Rooms at the front of the hotel are distributed by the nightclub opposite.

Basic clean room, friendly staff
The whole property is in need of updating. Dodgy shower which was difficult to get warm, old fashioned wall mounted hairdryer which isn’t powerful.. take your own ladies !
Very limited drinks available in the bar which is manned by the same staff member as reception so every time we wanted a drink we had to go look for a member of staff which on NYE wasn’t Ideal. No effort made to decorate the bar area for NYE or Christmas.
Prior to arriving I tried to make a reservation in the hotel restaurant but was told it was fully booked up, it was in-fact closed !
A very disappointing birthday and NYE celebration

stayed New Years Eve and was pleasantly surprised for the price. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were lovely, good value full English breakfast in a rather nice dining room and a stones throw from the stunning coastline.
Yes, the rooms are dated but honestly they are fine.

The staff were very helpful and cheery.
The tv didn't work, the tap wouldn't turn off, the window didn't open, the mattresses were very soggy, we had stayed before but this time we were very disappointed.

Everything we can not fault a thing and were able to take our 2 dogs on the most enjoyable new year ever room beautiful nice to have a bath as well as a shower lovely and warm can not praise it enough especially as a dog owner
The only down side which is not the hotels fault is the noise from the nightclub across the road we were fine with fri and sat but new year day Sundayas well was not on

Good location. Clean and comfortable. Super friendly lady greeted me on arrival.
Man on reception in the morning was preoccupied by paperwork and didn’t acknowledge me until I said I wanted to check out. Stark contrast to the warm welcome I received on arrival. A minor irritation but one he should address.

Overall it was okay
Carpet could do with more cleaning & hygiene.
Could do with some air freshers in corridors & stair case , didn't smell very good, felt like tobacco smoking practiced within hotel rooms or corridors , was noisy at night when people walking on stairs and corridors.

The staff were so friendly and so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Even down to a member of staff went with my partner to show him the nearest shop as we needed nappies for our daughter.
There was nothing we didn't like
