Красивый отель рядом с озером Балатон

Очень интересный интерьер, номер большой и очень красивая ванная комната. Спа вместительный, но в бассейне вода показалась экстремально холодной. Вкусный завтрак и возможность пользоваться кухней весь день и пить чай/кофе бесплатно.

Siòfokin paras keskustasijainti

Aamiainen oli monipuolinen. Aamuisin sai nukkua pidempään koska aamiainen oli klo 11 asti. Ilmainen kahvi/tee ja juomavesi ympäri vuorokauden aamiaishuoneessa. Sijainti paras mahdollinen, aivan lähellä rautatie- ja bussiasemaa, keskustaan todella lyhyt matka. Ravintola Amigo aivan vieressä. Superiorhuone todella tilava ja hyvin varusteltu. Spa hotellin kellarikerroksessa myös OK.

It is not 4 star hotel...

Unique Moroccan style interior if they would renivate it and add some modern parts it would be nice

Loud, inexperienced staff, awful breakfast, and old rooms. They believe that décor can hide the need for refurbishment. Like most places in Hungary, they want maximum money with minimum effort.

The rooms are neat and clean, the staff is friendly and the location is excellent. The disadvantage is that breakfast is served from 8-11 a.m., which is clearly indicated at the entrance to the kitchen, we came at 10 a.m. for breakfast and there was no longer 60-70% of the food selection, and it was not replenished.

Would not recommend

I am supposed to eat glutenfree. Every morning I got 2 glutenfree sandwiches (3 after I asked for one more).

I really regret booking this hotel. We paid way to many for what we got. Short version: noisy (train station), dirty, old, way to expensive for what you get. Long version: Location: nowhere was mentioned that this accommodation is next to a train station. If you happen to have a room at the back of the hotel, your doomed to hear all the announcements and every train that comes by. Do not be fooled, the trains keep running in the night AND also in the weekends. So there is no quiet night. It's a hell of a noise. Room: they have themed rooms. Which is a lovely idea, but the execution is terrible. We had the Dali room which looks like a kid had some time crafting (a carpet over the head of the bed, radiator foil as wall covering, a WHOLE wall with broken mirror part,...). Also everything is glued stuck, so you cannot make some room to put your stuff out. We were told that we got a ‘roomier’ one… but with two adults and each his bag…we lacked space to make this comfortable. We asked if we could get another room (away from the train station, and one with less decoration), but “that is not how it works”. With all the decorations, cleaning must be a hell…and we noticed. Not smelling fresh and dust everywhere. Rooms are also not cleaned unless you explicitly ask for it (which hotel works like that?)… even then, just a bunch of new towels are tossed on the bed. The bed itself is not made (I suppose because they lack room to move around the bed because we had not enough space to store our stuff). The airconditioning just blew air... not cold air. After mentioning this at the reception: “There is nothing I can do”. So...no airco. Nice extra: our friends where in the room next to us… Only one window can open, and with that window they have a fantastic look right into our room. The mirrors make it even better (note sarcasm) because they can see your whole room like this! The wellness was not a topper either. The sauna needs a lot of time to reach the right temperature.

Already connoisseurs (we have been many times in different accomodations) in Siofok. We have appreciated the idea of Indian/Asian look of the hotel which was something special compared to a simple looking hotel. We have appreciated the effort of trying something different in style. The breakfast was really diversified and delicious. The staff was helpful with information and in general.

The moment we entered the room there was a smell of dampness which was not very pleasant. Because of that we opened the window and a couple of minutes later a train passed and the noise was quite loud. The railways were very close to the hotel. We had to try to sleep with the windows opened because of the smell of dampness hearing the noise from the railways- not comfortable. The corridors need some deep cleaning-especially if you claim it Is a superior accomodation.

Nice staff. Cool Spa area. Interior is very comfy. The chill areas in the center are amazing. And the rooms are super silent, the hotel is right at the train station, my window was 10 m away from the tracks, you would never notice by noise. And it is far enough from the beach to not be affected by party zone, but still near enough to get home or to the beach in 5 to 10 min. Also 5 min to the city center. Gated parking lot.

The hotel could need some with some handy work practice. Not bad, but definitly some wear and tear visible. The breakfast was very basic in my opinion (although it didn't affect me, there was coffee).

The location and facilities were really good.

The breakfast was too pure for this level of the hotel. It might be ok for one time, no more. The worst part - attitude to the customer. I had a sad story related with absence of honesty: I left a precious item in the room. I called 5 times to look for it, as I was and still is more than sure, that left in the room. I received the answer: the item was not found and, even if it was, the hotel would not send it to me, as other clients were not honest to pick up sent items. This is a shocking experience, no recommendations for this hotel.

A great stay for a couple

The staff is very polite and helpful, they have met our every request. The breakfast was outstanding as it is no your usual hotel breakfast, it has interesting dishes and most importantly good juice. The spa facilities are perfect and beautifully decorated. The placement of the hotel is great to reach easily both the train station and the Balaton lake.

cold food at breakfast and poor choice of food. Cold water in the pool and all saunas and jacuzzi turned off and cleanliness in the SPA not maintained. Water everywhere, mold in the shower. Don't even expect slippers and a sheet at the wellness center, and there is no music playing there. Reluctant staff! Rooms poorly cleaned, dust on the shelves, soap not replenished in the bathroom, toilet paper not replenished, mold in the shower, towels not replaced. Impractical rooms, chandelier - bulbs - one white, the other yellow. Expensive parking in the area

Overall it was a good stay, the location of the hotel is pretty good.

The looks of the hotel, location, themed hotel rooms, staff.

Certain parts of the room were not that clean (spider webs in the corners). The breakfast was the same every day. At 10.00 or 10.30 they stopped making certain food, so if you weren’t early enough, you couldn’t get certain food (e.g. eggs).

Nice spa and wellness part, decorations, close to the city center, they have some partner restaurant discounts. They accepted our request for an earlier checking in.

Train station is too close, at least in our room we heard the trains all night, maybe depends on the room. Not enough tables at breakfast, had to wait to be seated.

untidy and cluttered way overpriced Gipsy interior design - unbelievably poor- it’s not boutique but hostel/shed level poor breakfast with cold scrambled eggs steps everywhere so easy to stumble not mentioning if you have heavy luggage I still cannot believe I stayed there for 1 night

Janus hotel is the best place in Siofok

Extremely welcome and friendly hotel. Design is exceptional. We stayed in Blue Angel suite, it was remarkably lovely. At the first view, I told to the owners that the suite is amazing, but there was no place to dry swimwear after Balaton. In 10 min, the nice invisible line was fixed in the bathroom. The girls at the reception are so helpful, their recommendations were really useful. There were no thousand dishes for the breakfast, but everything was fresh, tasty, much better quality than in a large show hotel. Constant supply of coffee and tea 24 hours helps a lot travelers.

Spa zone was OK, unfortunately, not all the saunas worked. However, it was clean everywhere.
