The lack of breakfast. A roof ( just about) over my head
Bathroom fittings not attached to wall. carpets needed cleaning ( or burning). Windows rotten. Room too hot

Location
Smell of weed in the corridoor the first two nights .

clean room, bathroom ok,
rooms need to be updated, carpets were worn/stained, bad noise from other rooms through walls, bad nights sleep
no breakfast offered, can't send them e mails, took 5 hours of trying to contact by phone eventually got through

Beds were comfy. Room was clean, and the property was quiet.
Staff was not too interested, the bathroom was poorly lit, our room didn't catch wifi very well. We booked a room with double bed, got two singles and was told by staff to move it if we want.

Good parking
When checking out the main entrace was locked by a door code which wasn't provided, and reception wasn't manned so nobody could let me in- had to wait outside half an hour with another person who was waiting to check out and only managed to drop the keys off as someone was leaving and opened the door.
No mugs in the room or tea and coffee, dirty kettle.
Very loud guests in the middle of the night (though this cant be helped) the walls are very thin so was woke up multiple times and due to the cars on the road.

Nothing
There was a kettle but nothing to drink out of as no tea or coffee or cups… just a kettle!!
Tv kept cutting out, pillow slip had stains on it, tea stain on side table, window filthy, no wifi offered, room very hot and no way to reduce heating, toilet had a dirty residue, the tv remote control looked dirty. No reception person.., was handed a key and told to find room.

Very nice room for a good price

It was dated could do with updating

I though the room was cozy and clean and the en suite bathroom was spotless. There is an absence of a staff presence - I only encountered one man when checking in but otherwise it was very satisfactory.

The facility was ok - not good nor bad.
Rooms were ok and clean.
As this was a business stay, it is important to receive a VAT Invoice for our stay - this is natural for all business expenditures. We have sent countless emails, attempts to call numerous times to obtain a VAT Invoice to no avail with the phone just ringing out and our emails ignored. A VAT Invoice had been requested at booking stage with a call from the establishment to ask when we were due to arrive where we reiterated that we will require a VAT Invoice. Here we are, one week later and still no receipt or invoice, I have tried calling again today and the phone rings out - I have also sent another email which I'm sure will be ignored (again). What do we need to do to get an invoice from this establishment???? I would not recommend staying here as the after service is terrible (unless you don't want a receipt or invoice from your stay).
In terms of the accommodation itself, this was ok (not good, not bad).

Free parking.
Shower in room 10 was a disaster with no water pressure. No phone in room. Stayed there 4 nights and no housekeeping. No towels changed and when I looked for clean bath towels, I was given hand towels. No restaurant or bar facilities. Very narrow corridors. It was summertime, so up to 25 degrees outside and central heating on inside and could not turn it off. No air conditioning so couldn't sleep much with the heat!

Location is good for my job.
Quite unclean, small room, plastic bed sheets and noisy with train line and building works.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Provided plates, cups on request etc.
Superb location though, well within range of town centre and if it wasn't for COVID, bang in the middle of plenty of attractions like the Hellfire Caves, or the various National Trust sites. So, it's a great place to launch your day trips as it is right on the main road in or out of town.
The room was outdated and to a very basic and arguably poor standard. Marks on the flooring, stains on the bedsheets/pillows - I don't know who cleaned but it wasn't to an acceptable standard at all, pretty hefty cracks in the walls, window decal coming off the handles.
Wi-Fi was very poor, spotty, dropped connection, couldn't run Netflix reliably on the iPad. It was often faster for me to browse the net using local 4G than to use the Wi-Fi.

The staff were amazing and so helpful
I liked everything

Great price and the rooms are comfy, there is a large car park. the hotel is in a great location
This is a room only type of place where food and drink is an after thought, I didn,t mind as here is a lot of places to go out nearby
