Friendly staff, great location and a unique building. Very good food and wine. Our little dog was welcome too.
Couldnt find the remote to the aircondition, but we did not ask, and it was ok anyway.

Room was clean and comfy.
The building is really characteristic with many original medieval features. Dinner/breakfast room is outstanding. The surrounding are so peaceful and the countryside is unspoiled.

very quirky and beds very comfortable.
there were 2 menus 28 euros and 45 euros. we ordered 28 euros menu and were charged 45 euros . No written explanation of what was on the menus. we were also overcharged for our rooms. Not good!

Fabulous character property with original medieval features, feels like you are stepping back in time. Set in an interesting medieval village.
Bedroom was large, warm and comfortable, and super quiet. Owners very welcoming. e erything was spotlessly clean - quite an achievement in such an old property. Very pleasant 4-course traditional French dinner in lovely dining room with open fire.
Minor issues only. The breakfast was quite minimalist, but sufficient for us - croissant and bread with jams and cheese/ham. Lovely fresh coffee. The en-suite had no separate shower, just a handheld in the bath, probably because of the low ceiling height. Hot water was not up to full temperature when we arrived, but was fine in the morning. A deep shelf over the bathroom sink made shaving tricky - this could be
easily replaced with a narrower one.
There was no Wi-fi or TV in the room, but this didn’t bother us.
Anyone with mobility issues should be aware there are several steps and heavy doors to navigate between the bedroom and dining room in the main building.

The room was lovely, with good range of refreshments and air conditioning
The breakfast was ok, a little sub standard for the price paid. No fruit, no cereal.

A very quirky ancient building with many medieval details. A more than beautiful dining- and breakfast room. Very quiet and in a small village (with bakery and an outside terrace to drink some beer..). The home-cooked dinners were excellent with a good choice of wine.
The owners did not speak English very well (and our French is also not great), so communication was a bit difficult. Wifi in our room was non-existent (despite being advertised as "with wifi").

All the staff were very friendly indeed and looked after you (especially Madame la propriétaire who gave us a bag of her purple beans!). Room was charming. Delicious homemade food for evening meal and breakfast. Convenient location not far from autoroute. Didn't matter there was no wi-fi in the room (because of thick stone walls).
Water pressure rather too low for a decent bath.

great food and ambience
it was very old so a bit rickety and drafty in places

Idyllic situation. Very friendly hosts. Wine delicious at dinner and homely French food. Breakfast plentiful with great coffee
This is our personal preference but we both found the bed too firm and would have like a second pillow each

The hotel is located on the edge of a lovely quiet village, next to a beautiful old abbey which is now an art museum. Sadly, we had no time to visit it, but will next time. The interiors are like something out of a period movie. The hosts are very friendly and the food was delicious.
There wasn't anything we didn't like, but the room we were in had a step leading down from the huge four poster bed and steps down to the bathroom. Luckily, when staying in unfamiliar hotels, we always pack a battery-powered night light and a torch. Definitely recommended here if you need to visit the bathroom at night.

Peaceful and tranquil food was superb
Perhaps it was a little too quiet

The room - baldaquin bed, think old walls. Felt like going back in time but very comfortable
Odd welcome committee but we understood later that they were seriously understaffed. They did manage to serve a great meal and good breakfast. Kuddos to the boss lady Maria who manages everything with a smile and great gusto

Food was exceptional.

Located in a superb French village, next door to an old abbey. The village is extremely peaceful and is perfect for an overnight stay or longer. Our room Jean Jacques had a four poster bed and the biggest walk in shower I’ve ever seen. There was a fridge and kettle. Car park outside the property was an added bonus and mostly English speaking for our basic needs. All the staff were lovely and helpful. They offer a good evening menu, basic and a la carte and wonderful wine. Stain glass windows everywhere. I went to the abbé the morning after to look at the sculptures by Marc Petit and the stain glass windows in the cloister and the old chapel which were worth a look. The village has a bakery and store. They were happy with our 2 spaniels
It was a perfect overnight stay, there are lots of stairs, not a problem for us, but it might be for others
