good location, comfortable and clean, nice full breakfast in the morning.

Really clean hostel with a great dining area and nice facilities. I found it very social too, and it is very reasonably priced for Patagonia. The free breakfast is excellent, especially the eggs and yummy banana bread.
It could just do with a couple more sofas somewhere, rather than just the seats in the reception area. Otherwise it is a great place to stay and much better value than America del Sur (just across the street).

The place itself looked cute and recently renovated.
Terrible service and attitude from all the staff - from the people doing check in in the afternoon to the ones working in the morning and in breakfast, this was by far the worst and most shocking. They literally make you feel like they are doing you a favor for staying there. Issues with water in the bathroom (was brown), broken bathroom door, refusing to print a receipt. The room had 0 soundproofing and you felt like there was no sense of privacy.

The staff is great. Good location close to Main Street but not too close.
Internet signal is bad.

The appartment was quite spacious and comfortable. So was the dormitory. The included breakfast was delicious and the personel nice.
The bathroom was a bit small and the heating was lacking : it was quite cold in the bedroom

great service!

It’s a pretty nice hostel. We’ll equipped kitchen and nice rooms.
The staff is the worst I ever seen. Only thing they care about is money, they just kicked us out while knowing we’re willing to pay. Not recommended.
4.3
Stylish and cozy. Friendly staff who were eager to help with anything we needed. Would easily recommend to others.
nothing

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It was a 15minute walk from the bus station and 10-20mins to the town (depending on where you're going). My previous hostels were more central, in the town itself, but I get the impression most of the accommodation in El Calafate is about a 10min walk away. There were many hostels very close to us.
The hostel exceeded my expectations. I thought it looked a little shabby in the photos online but in person this hostel is gorgeous. It's very clean and the decor is lovely. I'd definitely go back.
The breakfast ends early (10am), even 11 would be much better. Same for checkout - 11am would be nicer.

The individual room is ok, facilities ok.The breakfast was good
The bathrooms were not always clean and didnt have toilet paper.
There was no heat in the room and it was cold at night

Shower had 0 pressure and was either boiling hot or cold
Not much of an atmosphere

relaxed and quiet environment, fitting Patagonia’s mood! good breakfast with freshly baked cake and pressed juice (press it yourself, can’t get any fresher!). People were very helpfull and super friendly! we enjoyed it a lot and would definetely stay there again! we actually stayed there twice already.. :)

Sweet and helpful staff, room was fine.
A lot of dogs barking at night, but that’s probably the case everywhere in El Calafate. We had to keep the windows open, though, as the heater in our room couldn’t be switched off.
4.3
nicely decorated place, comfortable and spacious private room with a bathroom, option of an early breakfast, kind owner

Luis the host was outstanding at every level.
The place was very nice, like you actually want to hang out there.
Nothing. Everything was excellent!

Super loud music in the lobby. Had the double room next to the lobby, can’t sleep at all !!!!

Great people in a proper hostel with kitchen facilities. Fairly basic but clean. Ten minute walk into town and the bus station.
