Beautiful room, close to Agia Pelagia beach

I’ve stayed at the hotel’s new building and the room was brand new, very spacious and comfortable. There is a small kitchen area where you can prepare food and a nice balcony to relax. The new building has a nice bar (the local lemonade is a must try) and a small pool with a sitting area at the terrace. The personnel of the hotel is very friendly, nothing to complain about. The breakfast was nice, lots of different choices. I would only recommend the hotel to change some of the food options every day or 2 days, because it can be boring for someone staying for longer. The location is nice, very close to Agia Pelagia village center, where there are restaurants and a small supermarket, but also close to Agia Pelagia beach. Agia Pelagia is not the most popular village to stay at Kithira (especially if you want to explore the whole island), but I personally found it very convenient, because I was just planning to stay put.

In my view the hotel facilities are more family friendly but not ideal for only “adults’ vacation”. The hotel has a small but deep pool at the terrace of the new building, which is also in front of some of the rooms’ balconies. Little children are allowed to this pool, although there is an alternative, more suitable pool for younger ages in the hotel (less deep). When the little children jump in and out of the water and have fun, it can be tricky to use this pool or sit in your balcony to read or work.

Very good

Room was clean and hotel had two nice swimming pool areas. 2 minute walk to the main street.

Air-conditioning was a bit average. Kept stopping and starting on it's own.

The staff was very friendly and kind! the new building looks tremendous (especially the terrace with the swimming pool).

The Internet connection from our room was extremely poor (unfortunately there is no mobile connection wither which makes the situation even worse). other than that everything was great.

Nice place & people

All the staff was very helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was good. We had a funny incident with the bathroom lock that blocked but the problem was solved as soon as possible with a smile on the face.

We wished to have a late check out but it was not possible . Maybe if we had asked it more in advance they could help us with that.

Could have been perfect, but neighbours noise was annoying.

Great pools, very good breakfast. Nice appartment.

There was a (locked) door between our appartment and the appartement next to us. You could hear all the noise and talking from the neighbours which was a bit annoying.

The hotel was nice, the staff were nice and the apartment was spacious . We were not lucky since we git covid the first day. The staff were very helpful and supportive during our guarantine period.

We have booked an apartment with sea view, that was twice confirmed months ago. They gave us one without sea view that was upgraded to sea view the day after and after complaining about. But we have paid a sea view one for alk days ! Breakfast: huge dissapointment knowing the Greek standards - specifically: coffee was really bad , the orange juice was not fresh which is strange knowing that Lakonia region is famous about them, the rest (keik, croissant , etc) even marmelade were not homemade .The issue with breakfast was not about variety but quality.

The staff in the breakfast area were very polite and professional.

The hotel was far away from all locations of interest (beaches, villages, restaurants). We noticed many mosquitoes in our room every day. For the price that we booked the room (130€ - double room / day) the facilities were poor. Despite the fact that we arrived on time for the check in, the room was not available and ready to stay.

Really match the pictures shown on the website. Definitey great place for families.

the rooms were spacious and comfortable and very well decorated. the swimming pool is lovely. the roof top second small pool is also amzaing with a great view over the sea. great for sunrise.

the location is definitely not the best on the island, very touristy. the bar is just ok as there is no view to enjoy unfortunately.

wish I had found a room in Chora or Kapsali or Diakofti

great breakfast, big rooms with beautiful design

1. swimming pool appeared very clean. however, my daughter who swam with contacts on, got an eye infection the day after swimming. 2. the trash bin lid had a dry smear of stool on it. the rest of the bathroom appeared very clean. 3. too far 40 min from Chora the central town of the island.

Nice and calm with all facilities needed. A short walk to the restaurants. Lovely!

New and fresch all over! We liked the roof pool and the nice bar area. Cleaning every day is nice.

Improvements needed.

Location

The bathroom and the bathroom vanity were in separate rooms. You could not wash your hands in the bathroom because you had to go outside into the entry room so you had to put your hand on the handle to exit the bathroom. Very unhygienic.. If you ran out of toilet paper you would have to outside. Not good. Vanity should be in the bathroom like other establishments. . Poorly designed layout. No tea or coffee provided unless you went to the Breakfast room which closed at 11am. You could boli water but had nothing to add to the water. The pool access was only available between 11am till 730pm. Summertime availability should be between 6am till 11pm. The air-conditioning unit is located directly over the guests bed head zone not the foot area. No hooks provided in the bathroom either for towels. Improvements in these areas will make a future stay more pleasant. Thank you.

Exactly like in the pictures. The room is beautiful, the view is perfect, this part of the hôtel is new and modern.

Breakfast quality was low compared to the rest. We went in september and they had not enough ingredients to do cocktails. Sheets and towels smelled in bit weird.

Great apartment!

The room was just as it looked online, very comfy beds, lovely bathroom. The pool was nice and was free of other people most of the time. Lovely breakfast room too! No complaints here, the 3 of us had a great stay!

Comfortable and convenient stay in beautiful area

Loved the mood enhancing yellow and blue tiles in the attractive studio. Facilities were good with a gym, pool and good sized studio and bed plus kitchenette. Built to look like a little village. The basin outside the toilet and shower room was a thoughtful feature. Our view at the back was average. Overall good value for money. Thank you.

It would be very helpful if a shelf could be put behind the bed about 40cms wide at kitchen worktop height to use in the kitchenette. Would prefer to wear cheap plastic gloves and serve our own breakfast.

Great Modern Hotel in a quiet part of the island

The room and terrace were large, super clean and modern. We arrived slightly out of season so the bar and the 2 pools were very quiet, but again super clean, cool and modern. Lovely rooftop pool and terrace.

The property was great, no complaints but the area was a little too quiet for us. The name of the hotel made us laugh. Their slogan should be “Hotel Romantica - Arrive as friends, leave as Lovers” 😂

Our stay at Romantica Hotel Apartments well exceeded our expectations.

The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and make our stay as relaxing as possible. The complex was very attractively built and the rooms were very tastefully decorated. There was plenty of choice for breakfast.
