The place was clean
Booking.com shows checkin until 9pm. Lady owner confronted us saying she only accepts bookings until 8pm after we arrived 10 minutes after 8 and also she wasn’t happy with the price on booking.com because she usually charges 10 euros more. rude and unprofessional.

The breakfast was great. Our hostess is a fine cook and nearly everything served came straight from their garden.
The double bed could have been bigger.

Anna and her husband were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our included breakfast had a good selection of food, including fresh items from their garden. We opted to have dinner in one evening, and Anna provided a lovely meal. This is an old-school guesthouse in the best possible meaning. Another bonus - the guests there at the time were interesting and pleasant to talk to. If you are looking for somewhere to stay while exploring the nearby national park, Villa River Rose comes recommended. We would definitely stay there again if traveling through.
The option of making a cup of tea or coffee in our room would have been appreciated.

Wonderful location right next to the river. Excellent base for walks/activities in Soomaa National Park. Very friendly hosts, they speak German fluently. Nice breakfast and dinner. Very clean.
There are two restaurants/cafes in the area, one within walking distance. Kitchen closes early, though (~18:30).
We are used to bigger double beds and we found the mattress slightly uncomfortable. But overall the stay was very nice.

One of the most beatiful places I have ever been. A super nice house close to Soomaa park

I really liked the location near the river, a nice surroundings and nice view from the room. I really appreciated the hospitality of the place.
There is no a lot of free space for the parking cars. Though we found the place, I guess, that if the house is full of guests, it can be a problem. If not, it is okay.

Everything was just more than fine...nice house, friendly and nice manner owner who made us feel like we are visiting a friend...

Veloklubs: Not recommended. Unfriendly for cyclists.
Stupid rules. No claimed TV in the room. Food and drinks are not allowed in the room. Shoes must be taken off indoors. From the very beginning you feel like an unwanted guest.
Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Wonderful location and welcoming hosts. Dinner and breakfast included fresh, grown by hosts vegetables. Both meals were amazing.

It's a cute place in a quaint location very close to a lot of great Soomaa attractions (walks, visitor center, etc.). There's parking and a nice big yard. My family liked the breakfast!
Sleeping in the attic felt too hot, stuffy, dark and a bit claustrophobic. My daughter liked it, but I had to go down in the middle of the night. We were supposes to have a king sized bed but probably got another room.

Great location right next to Soomaa national park.

We loved our stay at Villa River Rose, Anna was a superb host and was very helpful. Her English is excellent ( despite what she thought!) and she was very helpful and friendly. The highlight of our stay though was the food,we hadn’t booked food in advance but she made us the most wonderful evening meal and great breakfast. We had a great time and loved the location, very handy for getting into Sooma national park and close to good amenities. Definitely one of the best places we have stayed and can recommend to other visitors, you will not be disappointed!
Nothing, it was perfect!

The place is absolutely beautiful !!! The river is really nice to go kayaking and the rooms are clean and cosy, perfect for kids with the attic room!
The hostess and owner Anna was very polite and kind, she helped us with all we needed. The dinner was delicious and breakfast as well. For me, this is a real 5-star hotel and I will definitely come back.
Thank you so much, we loved to stay at your place and the kids loved as well !

Very welcoming owners doing great job to maintain their villa for travellers. We spent a very beautiful evening at River Rose. Managed to make fishing on the river for small fish, with one hook - got a dozen of roach, perch and bleak - this was fun.
That we stopped at River Rose only for one night, wish it was more time.

The host is very sweet, the grounds are lovely and the location is not a far drive to a nice walking trail. Free parking on premises.
The room is very basic. No soap/shampoo in the shower. There is no kettle for the room (there's one outside in the back.)There is no access to a refrigerator. Tap water is not drinkable and no bottled water is provided.

The location ist perfect for those who want to explore the national park! The river is a highlight, amazing for an evening swim! Also, the breakfast is very good. The room is rather small, but very clean and well-equipped. We had dinner, which was great, just be aware that it is 15,- per person (reasonable for the quality, but still probably a bit more than you'd pay in a restaurant).
We felt a bit "watched" - for example when we wanted to get a second coffee at breakfast, it was made clear that it should be just one coffee per person.. a bit more generosity would not hurt.

Super clean and safe
Baking on the grill costs 10 euros and the outdoor kitchen 20 euros once.
Eating and drinking did not get in the room and public areas.
There was no privacy because the owner closely to guard with the rules.
There was no fridge or kettle in the room.
So luckily we had a motorhome with the kids.

The house is located at the Navesti river and they have a swimming place. The house is sorrounded by a big garden and leisure areas.
Flexible arriving hours.
There was no refrigerator possibilty.
The rooms seemed to have air conditioning system built it, but it did not work.

Everything was fine. The hosts are even too friendly and caring.
Very wide range of different bird species in the neighbourhood.

We had been canoeing in Soomaa all day, so this was the perfect place to rest afterwards. A quiet spot, picturesquely located by the river. Our room was basic but clean. The true gem of this place are its owners - friendly, accommodating and a good source of local information. The breakfast provides excellent value for money: everything was delicious, from the coffee, over the carrot marinade accompanying our fried egg, to the homemade apple cake.
Cider farm, café and small village shop are all within walking distance. Be aware that the café does not always serve food outside of the summer season.
No shampoo or little soaps.

A very nice place close to Soomaa National park, privatly run. Clean, decent rooms, a common room, directly located at a river where you can swim and rent canoes, garden with playground for children. Very nice hosts who cared a lot and helped with tips what to do in the vicinity. Menu in the evening extra cooked for us upon our request and taste, almost family connection.
Really, there is nothing bad we can say about Villa RiverRose!
8.0
The location is very nice and private. The owner is very accommodating and will answer all your questions and will be present as much as you want. If you speak German, this is the spot :)
The breakfast is good and from their harden products, always nice to have a special touch!
The room is simple and the interior is basic traditional but proper.
