All the resort tastefully build, the eco-friendly concept, the Lagoons, the restaurants decoration perfectly fit in the surroundings, the delicious and complete breakfast package
Mattress too soft and pillows too high made the night all that confortable

The breakfast basket was amazing and definitely worth the price. Staff is really supportive and professional and always available to support. The surroundings are beautiful, the pool areas nice and everything is clean and organized.
The restaurant by the lagoon is a bit basic - but still OK. I would definitely recommend and would love to go there again.
This is more a improvement suggestion than a complaint. The hiking trails are not marked well. The marks should be updated and it would be easy solution to provide the routes also via e.g. Komoot or other global app for hiking routes.

It was our first time glamping and we loved it! We were staying in one of the little houses near the restaurant with our 2 year old daughter. The resort was beautiful with various amenities and activities for families with children or couples. We enjoyed the indoor pool, childrens playgrounds and parks nature. Great breakfast basket was delivered to our house every morning and we enjoyed the food with a beautiful view over the hills and the sunset in the evening. The little house was very clean and had everything one needs including a nice bathroom. The balcony was very spacious and nice. The stuff was very friendly and helpful! The resort location is quite and remote and the beautiful beaches are reachable with car in ca 20min. Overall we had a great time and would come back anytime.

Beautiful setting
The weather, but is out of our control

Lovely place surrounded by the nature. The cabins are beautiful with a great view. And the most important. It's so quiet, it's really recommended for anybody who wants to have a great time with family or friends
It's kind of faraway from the city. So if you go there it's better to rent your own car to avoid any inconvenient.

we really enjoyed staying in the dome, inside had everything you need and outside nice seating areas. you can park your car right outside too. the whole area is nicely set up with natural pools and seating areas.
breakfast is delivered anywhere between 8.30am and 10am so we never really knew what time it was coming. Would have preferred to be able to request a set time as we like to be up and out quite early.
roads were quite bad both leading up to property and inside.

The whole place is just like you want for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful surrounding! Nature, good food, 3 pools, great accomodation and beautiful views.
Only 2 suggestions:
Although it's a great place with great setup for families and couples alike, in a beautiful surrounding, they did not have any (even basic) facilities to keep kids safe on the terrace at the domes (like simple gates for street entrance / stairs, for keeping kids safe); they told us they never had the request (seems odd on a family friendly place, no?). The good news is the staff was fast in at least putting a temp fence for us, so we only had to barricade the stairs ourselves ;)
Check-in at 4pm (standard) is quite late, then if they 2x have to postpone as it's not ready and telling you only at the time it was supposed to be ready, with 2 babies that's not great.

This property is kinda magical. The glamping accommodation is very comfortable, self-contained, with great wooden decks with views. The natural pools are stunning, the lagoon complete with weeds, frogs and paddle boards is just a lovely place to hang out, the area with the pizza restaurant with its 2 pools is also great especially at sunset the perfect place for a sundowner. This is a wonderful place to relax, especially if you like rural nature but with all modern comforts.
There is not much to criticise about Alecrim. If I had to, I would say some of the staff in the restaurants haven’t been trained & don’t know how to welcome customers. The Pizza restaurant was nice, had a warm vibe & pizzas were good, but the serving staff were a bit confused when we ordered a drink to take on the sundown terrace and I was very disappointed when they gave my 20 year old son paper cups for our outdoor beers, spoiled the experience. The Fogo restaurant in a large tent lacks atmosphere and the food was very ordinary, although the waitress here was welcoming. No fish on offer and we have had better food almost everywhere else in Portugal, but I think they are struggling with a remote, small kitchen - better to come maybe?

The pods looking amazing. The cabins are comfortable and giving a nice few on the Atlantic Ocean , especially during sunset.
The area is very quite and perfect for relaxing.
The water pressure of the shower is very low. This was the only part we were reminded that is was camping. 😊

The hotel is in an amazing place surrunded by nature and lot of peace to rest and relax. It's also a good place for kids with very nice places to play with them. Staff is very kind and attentious. Country Pizza bar is also very nice to drink something near the pool and enjoy their lovely snacks, pizzas, etc. Hope I can go back some day :)
I strongly recommend the hotel, but altough Foggo restaurant is not from the hotel itself it is inside it and the it was a low point on my stay. Before my arrival I received their menu and the advise that they only work with reservations, but I considered this very boring once when you're on vacation the last thing you want to worry about is the hour that you're going to eat. But ok.. Anyway we tried to go there and they not only refuse a place for us but also did it in a very unpleaseant way. The restaurant was not full and they were still waiting 1 or 2 reservations to arrive (even with them, there were place for us). It's not the rules that they have, but the WAY they treat people. I don't recommend the restaurant at all!!!

The location, the nature and wild life, the view and the originality of the accommodation units and swimming pools/lakes are truly amazing.
Very family-friendly with lots to do with kids (several playgrounds, trampoline, kids club, etc.).
The accommodation (eco-house in our case) are very well equipped and very clean, it’s simple but comfortable with nice touches such as coffee machine and capsules, a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival, etc. The staff is very kind, welcoming, friendly and caring. The breakfast is fantastic, including fresh products delivered to your door : freshly cut fruits, home made cakes, hams and cheese, fresh bread, delicious granola, etc.
The DJs at the restaurants and the lady in charge of the kids club were absolutely lovely and interacted spontaneously with the kids, making them play with them.
We will be back for sure, it’s a unique and very pleasant destination for a week-end or a few days immersed in nature. There is something truly special about this place, its people the atmosphere that we really enjoyed.
The site is in constant expansion so there are construction works here and there, pipes, holes, workers, construction vehicles… which isn’t really pleasant to see in such a beautiful landscape.
The guests’ cars are parked in front of each accommodation unit and some guests go to the lake with their cars, it’s a pity. Ideally the reserve should be car-free with guests parking their cars somewhere at the entrance and then only walking around during their stay.
Smelly drain in the bathroom.
The food at the restaurants is fine but nothing to rave about. Limited options for kids.
The indoor swimming pool under the giant dome - although advertised as heated - was very cold, as cold as the outdoor infinity pool.
