A perfect hotel situated in a delightful little town

Beautiful property in perfect location. The proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the room was perfect.

Really pleasant small hotel. Would return tomorrow!!

A lovely continental breakfast with homemade jams, a friendly welcome and ambience, and a pleasant room with a view over the river. The hosts were always keen to chat, and were helpful with my French!!!

Perhaps an English speaking channel on the TV would be nice.

Lovely little hotel for a night or two and Port is extremely pretty. well worth a visit.

Lovely area down by the Port. very friendly proprietor. Room basic but comfortable, bed comfy, very hot at the time and no air con but we were provided with a fan. Breakfast was served on the south facing patio which was really lovely and decent breakfast. There was a bar but only opened for a short time in the evening although drinks could be bought if you asked.

Had to go out to other premises for a meal as breakfast only meal served. First and second floor rooms and stairs a bit narrow.

Absolutely lovely!

Eddie and Corrine are lovely business owners and hosts who are full of helpful local advice and a genuinely desire to be helpful. A lovely hotel and room in an absolutely splendid location. A gem of a find!

Great Stay!

Charming, comfortable, sparkling clean, nice sized rooms, very comfortable bed, high quality linen, a few minutes walk along the River or a rustic well lit pedestrian road to reach a small collection of convivial restaurants. My friend’s room even had a spacious balcony area for company to gather and enjoy a glass of wine. Free parking nearby. Our hosts spoke excellent English, are most kind, helpful and friendly. I have some mobility issues, all rooms involve a flight of stairs. But the stairs are “normal” and not the crazy steep narrow steps common in Europe. I schlepped myself up and down reluctantly but without a problem. Our hosts thoughtfully helped with our luggage. In terms of amenities, this hotel cannot be said to be luxurious, but it is a friendly, Frenchy, comfortable, good value place run by 2 most hospitable people.

Very warm welcome from Eddie, Corinne and Laure. Rooms and the property are immaculately clean. Good location.

No lift. The stairs are very steep.

A lovely stay in Auray

Hotel le Marin is a lovely small hotel in a great location with friendly staff who go out their way to make your stay comfortable. After a great nights sleep we enjoyed a lovely leisurely breakfast of crossiants, fresh bread and home made jams on the outside terrace which set us up well for the day. We will definitely return to this delightful hotel in a gorgeous part of Brittany.
