Un lieu agréable pour un moment de repos hors saison

La proximité de la plage, la qualité du restaurant avec le coin jeux pour les enfants, l'amabilité du personnel, le petit coin jardin du logement, les chariots pour transporter ses bagages (une très bonne idée), la taille et le confort du lit, la facilité pour trouver le lieu et s'y garer.

L'absence d'options végétariennes claires sur la carte du bistrot alors qu'elles existent si on les demande. Le burger végétarien est très bon ! Cela est dommage, car ça peut dissuader des végétariens/vegans d'y manger alors que des options sympathiques existent. Aussi : il existe un supplément chien de 7€/jour. Les chiens y sont cependant les bienvenus, mais c'est à ajouter sur son budget.

Entre mer et tranquillité

Un site qui convient parfaitement aux familles. Vous êtes indépendants tout en bénéficiant du site : restaurant, piscines et autre activités. Sécurisé et propre, nous avons apprécié.

Gagnerait à marquer les places de parking pour satisfaire tous les clients.

A touch warm!

Clean and tidy with electrical sockets in the parking bays which was a welcome surprise.

Air Conditioning not working in 30deg plus heat with an elderly relative wasn’t good, and no alternatives/resolution to help us other than open the windows! Poor!

Quiet, good location to reach all the nearby villages and beaches. Green territory and new swimming pool. Facilities were clean and comfy, good beds.

A small playground for kids would be a welcome addition to the facilities of this propertly.

Self contained studio. Private outside garden area.

Bedroom tiny - not enough space on each side of the bed to get in or out comfortably. nowhere to put a water bottle on one side of bed. outside furniture not comfortable and a bit tatty. Breakfast poor. fruit salad tasted off. lack of plates and cutlery. egg cooker very slow

A modern, clean , spacious apartment in a great location for exploring nearby top tourist spots.

The modern, modular apartments are clean, very new and spacious with a well equipped kitchen, copious towels and lovely crisp linen. The two swimming pools were fabulous, maintained at an ideal temperature. I swam at 10 am and again at 7.30 pm. In the immediate vicinity there are no shops but a five minute drive away there are many large shops including three supermarkets. It is a 20 minute drive to pretty La Rochelle, and a 40 minute drive, over the bridge, to the picturesque Ile de Re. The staff were very courteous and helpful e.g. with parking suggestions for La Rochelle. The whole complex was fairly quiet, which suited us.

On arrival we were shown to one of their original, and hence old , apartments , with tight steep steps up to the bedrooms, which was not the ones shown on the web site. However with no fuss we were switched to one of the new spacious units.

Still a good stopover option.

Great location, with a nice welcome and good facilities. Rooms are spacious and clean with all you need. Nice comfy beds. Good secure parking and plenty of dining options on site.

I started using this accommodation for stopovers some years ago. The rooms and outside private deck areas are now starting to look a bit tired and in need of refurbishment.

Really nice and comfortable, super cosy, great big walk in shower and has heated towel rail which was really handy.

The spiral stairs in the apartments are quite tricky, especially for older people.

Disappointed, not the peace and quiet we needed

Warm welcome, pool not heated, felt too cold for the season

No privacy at all. Constant maintenance work throughout our stay, often intrusive. We complained several times, once actually finding a worker right outside our terrace window at 8am! Huge, noisy building site right next to us. We contacted Ocean on our return, but they have not had the courtesy to reply. Food was mediocre and expensive for what it was. The beach was far more than 200m down a main road and across a railway. We would sadly not recommend this to anyone

The pools and staff is friendly.

This resort is no longer the small and creative resort it used to be (we also vistited 5 years a go) The restaurant now has many options but the quality could be better. We stayed in the old part of the resort and these cottages really need an upgrade, they are damp and out dated (chairs are chipped, mould on the outside sofa cushions) Breakfast is the same everyday and products are not fresh/organic. All in all the resort seems a bit lost in respect of the kind of resort they want to be and service they want to provide.

Not worth the money!

helpful reception staff lovely pool area

the accommodation was tired and in need of updating. It was on a par with the old travelodge hotels in the uk. broken tiles in the bathroom, rust all around the fixings, very basic accommodation, weeds where there should be flowers and dirty marks on the ceiling and walls where previous people had swatted spiders! definitely not worth the money and certainly not boutique hotel accommodation! breakfast was very poor and we didn’t eat any evening meals there. such a shame, but the accommodation did not live up to the glossy marketing!
