Okay

Das Personal bei der Ankunft war unfreundlich und unvorkommen .Wir baten um Hilfe bei einer Reservierung eines Baby Bettes und uns wurde nicht geholfen .Sie haben sich über uns lustig gemacht weil sie dachten das wir die Sprache nicht verstehen

Ibis hotel that needs some follow-up

Ibis has good standards and are generally enforced so you know what you get

I paid more for breakfast than mentioned on booking. The reception staff had no problem charging me more than mentioned on the booking.com website despite my protest. "Booking doesn't have the correct prices". That's a pretty silly remark if you know that Ibis injects the prices in Booking. Unprofessional to make your client responsible for your mistakes Breakfast was emtpy and had to wait for refill. No eggs

Put hydraulic dampers on the doors please!

It's always a relief to know there is someone on the desk whatever time one arrives.

One really annoying thing about this hotel is the heavy doors to the rooms. Not only are they exceptionally heavy but there is no soft closing mechanism. So, especially in the morning, when guests start leaving, the corridor (already echoey) is like a warzone of constant banging. It's really hard to stop a door banging when you are wielding a load of luggage.

Typical budget hotel outside city limits

Parking was spacious and convenient. Check-in was easy and fast.

There are separate cubicles for toilet and shower. The wash basin is in the room itself. There is no lift in the building. A bit far away from any amenities like restaurants. Had to intercom the reception from outside the gated compound to get in the first time.

Nonexistent soundproofing, impossible to sleep

The only reason why anybody would want to stop by at this hole is to rest, which is IMPOSSIBLE. Soundproof featured in the booking is NONEXISTENT. You can hear everything happening in the hallway, outside the window, on another floor, or at the reception. Carpeting is only in the hallways and is very thin, with rolling luggage resonating thru the entire building. The staff does not care about the clients, not asking that people arriving through the night at least keep their voices down. ZERO concern for customers.

the fire alarm started at 3 in the morning but there was no fire. After 20 mins the alarm was on they turn it off and told us we could go to the room

Please add some English spoken tv channels.

The location. One minute from the high way and they accept dogs!

They told us we could use the restaurant from the Novotel. The food was bad, very bad. I would not even give this to my dog. Rate from 1 till 10. I would say: 1.

GREAT FOR THE PRICE

For 26€ the night it was the perfect stay. A lot of space to park your car and it is closed at night for security. It is located in the outskirts of the city but it is great to visit Le Barcarès or any town nearby as you don't have to drive throught the center. It was clean and they were nice.

There was an ongoing noise all night. I think it was something to do with the ventilation of the room. Anyway, it is awful to hear if you have trouble sleeping but if you don't it will be fine. Another thing is that there is no shower curtain so everything will probably be a mess after taking a shower.

Pleasant

Location good, close to motorway for stopover.

Room was opposite a family room, children were noisy, door slamming and running along corridors!

Smellling bedclothes

Overall clean, easy parking, good price and easy to find.

Clotes and pillow were smelling like cigarettes. I struggled to sleep due to that, it was like they didn’t wash it. It should be forbidden to smoke and they should make sure bedclothes are clean and fresh.
