Exceptional

Everything was exceptional, from the facilities and the cleanliness of the room to the very welcoming and helpful staff. We also loved the location, so close to the port of Frikes and the gorgeous beaches of Polis and Kourvoulia. The village of Stavros also has everything you'd need, from resto's and bakeries to a pharmacy.

Our second stay at Asterida. We were again made very welcome by Evie and hope to return.

Very comfortable studio and lovely pool. Exceptionally clean with good quality bedding and towels. Stavros is a great place with restaurants and shops and a lovely community feel.

The kitchen was reasonably well equipped with appliances but a wider range of crockery and utensils would have been appreciated.

The site said ONLY ONE ROOM LEFT...we got there and the hotel was EMPTY...THAT US FALSE INFORMATION AND THAT IS NOT GOOD...NOT THE FIRST TIME WITH BOOKING COM IN THE FUTURE. I WILL CALL THE PROPERTY AND AVOID BOOKING.COM FALSE INFO NOT GOOD

Great place - beautiful location

Location is absolutely stunning and a short walk from the town centre. The walk is short (about 400m) but it is pretty steep so bring comfortable shoes.

Great property, brilliant location, but room for improvement.

The resort is perfectly located for both the village of Stavros and Polis Beach. The apartment is fairly basic but a great place for a week.

We were unfortunate as the wi-if and TV was down the whole time. It got fixed 1 day before we left. Also the owners haven’t mentioned prior our arrival that there will be road repair infront of the property so we had 3 days full of drilling noises and dust, which affected my husbands eyes.

Magnificent and memorable Ithaki getaway!

The location nestled in the mountains resulted in a stunning setting and view! The host met us at the door and made herself readily available, went above and beyond to make us comfortable & welcome. Walking distance to the town for groceries and coffee.

The roads at night! Make sure you get back during the daylight

Refurbished traditional homes overlooking Polis beach in the village of Stavros.

1. The views 2. Quality finishings in the house 3. Attention to detail. Our villa was complete with everything you need - almost like a private holiday home.

Spacious, Relaxing, Clean and Comfortable

I loved the pool and it was cleaned regularly. It is situated on an open terrace overlooking the bay, with standing shade over sunbeds and the bar area. Asterida is situated within easy reach of Stavros and Polis Bay, I did not hire a car. Sofia was very welcoming and maintained the accomodation to a high standard, with clean linen every 2 or 3 days. Sofia also came to check on me when it rained to see if I needed an umbrella. She welcomed me on arrival earlier than the normal time, and appreciated the message beforehand. I was most impressed with the air conditioning which was linked the the doors and windows. In addition, there was heating, probably for the beginning and end of season; there was even an open fire with fire guard. The various apartments were nicely designed on different levels so that occupants had privacy on their own terrace. There is a key connected to a card which be placed in it's cradle for the electricity to work. I would stay there again.

I liked everything about Asterida. For anyone doing their own catering some bowls would have been useful. I am sure if I'd have asked though Sofia would have sorted it out.
