The pool was delicious after a long drive. The bed was comfy and the Aircon a bonus. The evening meal was exceptional good value and an experience we will remember for ever.
All great. Nothing

The Host!!
Such a warm reception!
The total isolation really hit me, loved that! Sympathetic design, this I really loved.
I can’t fault one single area about this place. Fantastic!

The facility was located in the countryside but was close to a small town for food etc. Facility had a pool but it was a bit too cool for me but it looked inviting.
My room was two flights of small stairs up, no lift, but my room was amazing so I could manage with the stairs.

Perfect breakfast and dinner in a nice garden with a swimming pool
Nothing to remark

The chateau is superb, very well decorated. The garden is a pleasure to the eyes. The big breakfast table is great to get to know the other guests (might be a problem if you want privacy, but hey, it's just breakfast!). The breakfast itself is excellent. Room was amazing and very comfortable.
I had my legs torn after 100+km on a bicycle and there's no elevator! Why didn't they think about that when they constructed the chateau around year 1200? Why? Why?
