Cozy cottage dream hotel

I LOVED this hotel - it was so cozy and adorable! The view was incredible and the service was top notch! The food was another level and the grounds were spectacular! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Otavalo area.

Only complaint was the wifi didnt work properly in our room and I had to work the night we stayed there. I had to move to the restaurant which closed at 9pm then I tried to work sitting on the stairs of my front porch to catch a spotty signal. Other than that, it was phenomenal.

Exceptional

The location is super fun with water sports and mini golf. We loved canoeing together as a family and jumping off the platform into the lake. There was a nice hang-out for those who didn't want to get in the water and they still felt part of the fun ordering drinks and food. We loved that they let us stay after check out to enjoy the property longer. Such a beautiful location and fun cabin feel while having all the comforts of home.

The only thing that makes us hesitate going there is that the food is a bit over priced. It was delicious, just more than we wanted to pay for a big family - it really added up. But the restaurant setting was incredible.

Wonderful resort feel, we stayed in Cabana 24 right in front of the lake incredible views of mountains and lake. Restaurant was a little pricey but wonderful food and again beautiful views right on the lake. We had a fireplace all though the wood was damp so had trouble keeping it going, there is no heat so it was a little chilly in the evening but they give you hot water bottles with these cute cartoonish chicken covers they were silly but so useful. We had a large sofa, coffee in the room, a Jacuzzi tub and nice functional shower. Our front porch was wonderful has a swing and a table and chairs very comfortable place to be. The property has everything mini golf, water sports, bunnies goldfish ponds, chickens, ducks, frogs at night, beautiful gardens just fabulous atmosphere. We even saw they have a super cute little daycare place so traveling parents can get a little break, it looked like a really fun place for small children and toddlers. We felt very pampered and blessed to have a few days here at the end of our two weeks in Ecuador. The location to get into Otavalo was great too close but removed from the city feel.

No heating but they did make a fire and put bedwarmers in bed.

Such a tranquil and beautiful place.

Such a tranquil and beautiful environment with fun things to do. But my favorite part was how they lit our fire at night and brought is hot water bottles. we felt very taken care of and found the experience to be so relaxing.

The restaurant prices are a bit high.

Beautiful location.

Beautiful location, people were very kind to try and help you. Tastefully decorated and maintained. Fire place in the room was a great touch.

We could hear everything with the adjacent room. The cabins need some sound isolation. The restaurant was pricey.

Superb

Great family cabin with 2 rooms, living room, chimney, kitchen and BBQ area. Although it doesn't have a lake view, it's still very cozy (and cheaper than renting two cabins). Staff is very friendly and food (typical Ecuadorian) is great.

Location was ok, but expected better

The location was ok, but expected better for the price. The view from the restaurant is really nice.

Family lake view room was not close to the lake as expected. The road to the hotel is in bad condition and it takes time to get there from the entrance of the lake. It rained and there was no path to walk to our room other than wet grass. Lunch was average and a little bit expensive. Breakfast on Sunday was $25/per person, too expensive for multiple people. We went to a different restaurant with better food for less money.

Wonderful place to visit

They are very welcoming and you only have to ask one time for anything and considered done. My fireplace was set up every night and they will call the taxis and help us to plan the day.
