Everything! The staff go above & beyond. The room was lovely, spacious, spotlessly clean & the bathroom was a great size. The complimentary items were a lovely touch. We had our evening meal there which was lovely & breakfast was superb. I don't always sleep well when away but had the best nights sleep. Would highly recommend in fact I have told my sister who wants to visit Cheddar she must stay there!

Parking - Easy. Check in - Easy. Room - Bright, clean and comfortable with lovely little complimentary snacks. Evening bar drinks and dinner - very good. Breakfast - lovely. Check out - Easy and complimentary bottles of water given to take on our forward journey. Was also allowed to leave our car in the car park whilst we went for a walk before heading off. All staff were well presented and friendly.
If I had to be picky I would say road noise, but not all through the night. We probably noticed it more than some as we live in a no through road in a tiny village, so never hear anything.

I was really impressed with everything at the Bath Arms Hotel - spacious parking, a good-sized room with a bathtub, and even the toiletries provided were good quality.
The staff was amazing, and 'the owner made time to entertain the guests and offered us tips about the trails/ attractions nearby.

Nothing but Locaton
This place is a glorified pub.It was crowded in the bar on arrival with no quiet reception area. You just have to join the pub crowd at the bar. Good job I left my luggage in the car.
There is no comfy lounge or quiet space whatsoever. The room was big noisy with windows that did not close. The Bathroom is in need of TLC. It was draughty & cold.
The guy who received me was polite but the woman in the morning was positively rude to me. The girl serving breakfast looked like she was doing me a favour- she was hostile with no eye contact. Breakfast was disgusting with stale muffins Lathered in Hollandase; this was not stated on menu & is disgusting to me. The spinach beneath the eggs were sopping wet with water seeping into the muffins. Having driven from Falmouth this was a huge disappointment. It is not a Hotel just a pub with rooms so do not be misled by the lovely architecture of Bath stone!

Beautiful hotel, fab food, location was spot on.
Great to walk to gouge
Room was beautiful and clean
BUT ... Walls are very very thin, I could here every word of the people next door., there phone bepping. It felt like if I could hear them, they could hear us. .. Sadly for this reason I would stay there again.

We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and knowledge of local food and drink which was great when ordering. We enjoyed the cosy and personal environment and their consideration of nut allergies. The rooms were spacious with great facilities. Was a lovely night away and a real treat. Food was delicious and worth the price. Great selection of beverages as well and a lovely cosy fire to curl up next too. Rooms were kept nice and warm which was great after a long walk.
This is more of a personal preference we prefer a softer mattress but this does not reflect poorly on the hotel.

A very pleasant night’s stay. The room was very nice and there were lots of thoughtful touches like bottles of still and sparkling water, tea and biscuits and nice hand soap and shower gel. The towels were large and soft.
Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and delicious food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return if visiting Cheddar again.

The only downside was breakfast didn’t start till 8..For businessmen it’s an hour too late.. however it was great & the staff were great
No Tv in the bar as we wanted to watch the football so we went elsewhere for dinner with the footy on..They could have had an area to accommodate this

General ambiance
More insulation from traffic noise in the bedroom. Our room faced the main road which was noisy. This could be reduced by providing thicker curtains for example. Road was quiet overnight though.
