We were allowed to spend 7 days in this beautiful hotel. We especially liked the location of the hotel. You have a breathtaking view of the sea and the coast.
After Moneglia you walk a pleasant path partly along the sea. Moneglia is a pleasant place with stores and restaurants, just right and not so touristy.
Below the hotel is a beautiful beach. It is reached by many stairs, so you should be good on foot.
We went to Cinque Terre by train, the station is 10 minutes away by foot.
The hotel is super managed by father and son. They have always fulfilled our wishes. The two have a lot of work, but they do it very well. The coffee in the morning was perfect!
Thank you Leo & Leo!!!
We wish you all the best, kind regards from germany to you!
We will visit this beautiful place again.

great location, pool, view from the common areas and many of the rooms, excellent breakfast and coffee
Our room had no airconditioning and was very hot. The hotel was able to provide one ventillator. The reception was often empty.

Great location, clean rooms, amazing view and location. Staff were very friendly. We travelled very easily throughout cinque terre as-well because it was close to the train station! Beach nearby is less busy than the main beach.
No wifi in my room.

Wow! What a view from the room-balcony! I have to say that everything about this place was magical. It was a quick walk to the small city, that has multiple restaurants, bars and some shopping incl. a supermarket. The swimmingpool-area was nice and breakfast was amazing. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming and Moneglia was a very charming beachy-city with a boardwalk and some really good restaurants!
The room and bathroom was a bit too small for two people. At one point the power went off in most of the hotel, in the evening. I had read some reviews that this has happened to other guests and it has been a struggle to get them to turn in on again. I have to admit that the owners of the hotel were pretty loud (they would argue amongst themselves) and had a real difficult time understanding English, but because I was aware of some of the challenges of this place, it didn't really bother me to be honest. I just found it quite funny and sweet and if you keep and open mind, you don't really think about it.

Great sea view, pool and good breakfast offering
Would have liked the pool open hours to start earlier.

The rooms were clean and the sea view was fantastic. We had the best breakfast (with homemade food, cakes and real Italian cappuccino) here during our entire vacation. The owner was friendly, although he only speaks Italian.
The swimming pool (which was clean and nice) also has a great view of the sea and plenty of sunbeds around it.
There was no refrigerator in the rooms. The triple room was a bit small for three bed.

The view, location were great.
We stayed in an apartment without airco and a bad fan. The apartement are not duable
without a good fan or airco. way too hot. when we asked for an extra fan we didnt got it. we finally bought our own. You can have dinner in the hotel but you cant say that theres a restaurant. So for lunch/dinner you always have to walk over the mountain 5 -8 min. Also for a drink in the afternoon most of the time there is no staff. so we ended up just taking our own drinks and stayed in front of the hotel because our apartment was too hot and had almost no outside space. You can better book another hotel. The pool
is nice but no space to sit in the shade.

Lovely view, nice room, excellent swimming facilities in both the pool and the sea
Lack of services at the hotel. The location was great but a bit challenging if you are not used to stair-climbing.

Good location and the kids liked the pool. How ever the pool was most of the time hard to use half of the day since they had as a routine to clean in before lunch and then it “closed” at 19:00. It is also forbidden to splash, make noise and have any kind of toys in the pool.
we got a really nice room with a balcony who and ocean view which was very appreciated
The owner seems to have given up a bit at the hotel. He was very angry most of the time. It is also very difficult to find any kind of staff. The reception, restaurant and bar is always empty. The owners son also works at the hotel and he also gives the impression of being angry and annoyed with most things. He told off a child pretty harshly because he’s shoes were to noisy when he was walking in the stairs. The only ray of light in the management department was the owners mother who is a really sweet old lady.

purposely chose this location for the gym and sauna facilities. Gym should not be classified as a gym with broken and unable equipment.

The view from the room was great. Breakfast is good but they are not re-filling when something finishes. As a result you might have very few options if you arrive late to breakfast.
This hotel is clean and neat and has great opportunities to grow their business. The facilities are good, nice swimming pool, short walk distance from the beach, fantastic view out the windows. However, it is often hard to find the staff. There is a small bar but it is closed. They have a vending machine and that is it. My personal opinion is that I would have liked to be able to purchase snacks, drinks, coffe etc. from the bar that is already there (but closed). It would furthermore help much if they get more English speaking staff members. To sum it up - Its a nice hotel but you need to service yourself

The room I had booked and paid for in advance was not the room I was given on my arrival. When I approached the owner he was argumentative and told me to leave and find something else if i wasn't happy. He told the receptionist that if I wanted the room I actually booked I'd need to pay more to move. He was unfriendly and unapproachable to start, he was just shouty and kept walking away when I was trying show him what I was asking on google translate as I thought it may of been a language barrier. I found the whole experience very faulty towers and funny by the end if the trip.
Breakfast was so so, mouldy fruit sitting there for days, nothing replenished during the breakfast service and sometimes when we arrived there was nothing left. Decor is little old fashioned but the pool area is good if you are not a beach person.
It's defiantly 3 star - no air and graces but the views from the hotel are lovely
All in all it was a 7/10 and I loved his mother even though she just came into my room and moved stuff around if she got a chance.
Breakfast and a friendlier approach from the manager.

The view was fantastic, with a balcony to the seaside. There was a great pool and a jacuzzi and the breakfast was very good. We had one of the best cappuccinos there. The beach is at a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
The jacuzzi could be cleaned more, the shower was very cramped. If the jacuzzi is cleaned a little better and the water in the pool is a little warmer, it would be a 10/10.

Breakfast was good. Location is wonderful, with the town of Moneglia just a short 10 minutes walk away-lots of stairs though! Beach in front of the hotel is lovely.
It’s a family run hotel and our check in experience was horrible. The guy, who seemed to be managing things that day, put another family in our room and put us in a much smaller room than what we had paid for. Thankfully the family in our room heard the issue and agreed to move. The mismanagement of this establishment is worse than I’ve ever experienced.

the location was private and away from crowds. the view from our room was wonderful. It had old European charm. the staff was hardworking and eager to please.
Due to so much stone and marble, Wi-Fi wasn’t available in the rooms, but the lobby and terrace was comfortable and quiet.

breakfast is very nice; the serving staff and the owner is very friendly; excellent view from the balcony and cantina; fast to train station and town center
no backup toilet paper after it runs out at last night (4th)

see view from the public area however suites have no good view. parking is available, however not free.
no internet in the suites, shabby, no see view when you seat because of the fence. costs too much for this quality.

The view was good but spoilt by the owners who constantly shout at each other therefore we couldn’t stay and went to the beach instead
The owners literally argue all day to the extent that you can hear them from the beach 50m away. The breakfast was inedible, the coffee had old stains down the mug.

Great location- you can take train to cinque terre from the train station nearby!
Nice beach nearby (not busy at all), well maintained swimming pool, nice sunbathing spots. 3 min walk to town with restaurants and shops. About an hour drive to Portofino and Genoa.
Great breakfast!!! The homemade cakes everyday were delicious. Good coffee and choice of vegetarian options.
Comfortable bed and clean nice rooms with beautiful view.
The owners are lovely, would help if they could speak a bit English. Anyway we managed to communicate just fine, so basic Italian will be ok.
The WiFi didn’t work in our room- just in the commons areas. Ask for password- there will be no information in the room.
Would be great if there was a person on the bar or somewhere in the common area in the afternoon.
The parking is paid 10e a day, but that apparently include the tax, so not that bad as for such a prime location.

Location is great, lovely pool, beautifulview
Power outlets not there, a/c not working, light bulbs broken, staff not service-oriented, sometimes even weird. packed breakfast room. distancing not really possible.

Very nice location and superb view. The staff was friendly after first issues were resolved.
A bit chaotic at the start. We didn't have a key for our room and there was nobody at reception the first day in the evening. Hard to communicate, the staff hardly spoke any English. After the first day, everything was resolved however.
In total a bit too expensive.

Location is perfect. Direct on a Hill with view to the sea. Pool and Spa is placed, so at you have a nice look to the sea.
Service is a desaster.

After some room switch ups in the beginning, we ended up in a really nice room with sea view and enjoyed our stay very much! The beach is just a few steps underneath, the swimming pool has a great view and the city center is just a short walk away.

The location was good and the main building is a cute place. The view would have been great had we gotten the room we paid for. Leo and the two younger woman tried their best to help us and accommodate the multiple issues we had with our stay as and the older guy who I believe was the owner.
We paid $300 more for a much nicer room then the standard deluxe and got a room with no a/c, no view, mosquitoes and noise because it had no screens and was 3 feet from the street. My friend got a gorgeous view and a/c in the main building and paid $300 less. After complaining, the older man who I believe was the owner, told me I should have requested air conditioning despite the fact that all of the rooms in the main building had it and the hotel was advertised as air conditioned. I had to convert the futons that were the “extra beds” and make up those beds myself, cutting myself on sharp metal on the couch in the process. We did not get any sheets for those beds until we requested them. We were told they would move us the second day but I had to make a huge stink about it even after they told us they would do it. I even offered to just get two rooms in the main building and pay the extra. When we did finally get a new room, the older guy just opened the door to the new room and walked away. I had to move all of our luggage by myself. I’m a 5’2” single Mom traveling with a 5 year old, a 9 year old and my mother. Then he didn’t leave the key for the new room and it took me another 30 minutes to track anyone down to get the key to lock it. On our last day, at breakfast, we were finishing up and I went with my youngest daughter to the bathroom. This guy locked me out of the breakfast room AFTER I had eaten while my family and my purse were still inside. After I banged on the door so I could get my purse, my mom and my kids, I was told breakfast ends at 10. It was 10:10 and we were done. I travel extensively, am a pretty go with the flow kind of person but this was pretty awful. This might be a nice place if they let Leo and the two young women run it exclusively. Even if our stay was bad, at least those three were trying.

Charming staff and excellent pool, nice child friendly beach and close to town.
The changes of bed and towels were not up to standard for the rest of the stay.
