Cool staff, super central location
WC and shower room was to small for the whole hostel

Adelina is absolutely lovely and really made us feel at home. Breakfast is abundant, and the hostel itself is very nice with its cosy small inner courtyard. Location is very handy to visit Evora.
The room is windowless and you can feel the air needs clearing for example in the morning. Problem is, the only door is on the common inner courtyard, which you also need to cross to enter the private bathroom. So if you're looking for privacy and silence in the morning this isn't great.

Great place to stay, homely feel with a mix of long term and tourist guests. Simple breakfast, but good when travelling. Staff friendly. Walkable distance to bus, train further away.
I had a room to myself, with separate bathroom, unfortunately the bathroom had a no evidence of ventilation hence a smell associated. Also the area outside my room was used by smokers.

The place was conveniently located and the staff was very nice. Everything was clean and the small courtyard was very cute.
My bed was very uncomfortable (felt like sleeping in a very soft hammock) but on the second night, I rotated my mattress 180 degrees and it was better.

A mirror in the room would make it perfect

I'm a full-time traveller, almost 60 with bag problems so for ME, not the other ones... I had problems with my bed( is taken care of now 🙏)... Psst, and the "coffee ☕"😉 But you can buy few meters away for 50 cent. No problem..🤔Hmm actually no problem at all🌹

This hostel had the softest mattress of all the places I've stayed in Portugal so far. Helpful, friendly staff who gave me additional blankets for comfort. The hostel is situated within the town walls and was excellent for access and transportation links. The communal spaces were large and accommodating. The kitchen well stocked and a decent size. Access to the property was via a keypad, so felt secure at all times.
Sadly the dorm was within another room, so despite us being in bed and quiet, we had the other dorm users opening then slamming the door late into the night. Friday night the street is noisy (external noise, no fault of the hostel). Breakfast was basic, no porridge or alternative milk options.

Amazingly nice staff, clean places and best price

A lovely vibe within the hostel, friendly and accommodating staff. Decent sized and well equipped shared kitchen and good communal space. This was the first hostel to have a mattress that was comfortable. Situated on a busy thoroughfare from town and very close to supermarket and snack stores, plus a 10 minute walk to the bus station. Ideal position.
Sadly the 4 bed dorm was off the 6 bed dorm (shared door), had to endure the door opened then slammed shut several times each night. No privacy curtains on the beds, but I spoke to the owner, so this might change. Breakfast also only had cows milk on offer.

Everything, from the facilities and staff to the breakfast.

Staff was amazing and very helpfull.
The room was at the entrance to the hostel, so noise could be heard from all sides (from the hostel and from the street) all night. The beds do not have curtains, so there is no intimacy in the shared room. Check in until 9 pm and no solution if you are late.

I enjoyed my stay here. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was the best part of the hostel - the cleanest I have ever seen and very well equipped. Free tea and breakfast laid out every morning (with fresh bread). Central location but still quiet outside. The early morning staff gatherings in the courtyard were my alarm clock during my stay, but I didn't mind too much as it got me up :)
What surprised me was that the hostel is mostly occupied by students who only talk to each other and generally rule the roost (dominating the shared spaces and playing loud music). Some of them were quite rude. The bathrooms were quite grubby unfortunately. Still good value, despite these shortcomings. Thanks for the stay!
