James equipped our room with a selection of pastries and breakfast foods, we spent a lot of our time down at the bottom of the private garden watching the bats and dragonflies. The garden was also lined with buddleia so we saw many butterflies! The bed was comfy and shower pressure was great! We tried the local Chinese/thai on our first night, would recommend the ribs and duck chow mein!
More ways to cook would be great, having some liners for the air fryer would make it more appealing to use. A table top induction hob would make it so you could eat at the property for more meals.

The breakfast was left in the room. Tea and coffee, cereals, bread, pastries, yoghurts, margarine, milk & jams etc There was a fridge, kettle, toaster and airfryer in the room.
The views from the room were lovely with seats indoors to view it and there is an outdoor seating area and a garden with more seats overlooking the river. Very beautiful. The facilities were good, and the compact use of space maximises storage.
You had to ask for more of things you needed for breakfast, even milk and yoghurts which only had enough for one day.
There was no decaf tea or coffee.
The TV screen was rather small, but there was not really a place to put a bigger one.

We are not big eaters and we had a good choice of cereals/bread/cakes to start the day

DIY Breakfast in 100% choices. Quirky 17th century private building - garden by river Wensum - what's not to like.

Great location. Quiet, lovely to sit by the river. Comfortable and roomy.
Great hosts. Nothing too much trouble.
We liked everything. Would not be suitable for wheelchairs.
The TV just needs the Ariel sorting.

Cosy little cottage. Costessey (pronounced Cossey) is lovely. Close to Cromer, Sheringham, Blakeney and Norwich, all of which we explored during our two night stay.
James is great. Quick to respond. Very obliging. He came out to meet us and give us a couple of recommendations.
Comfortable for a short stay. Would recommend.

Cosy room with all the facilities you need including breakfast. Great location, overlooking the river with lovely views
Riverside is connected to another cottage and the walls are thin so it was a bit noisy
The tv only showed BBC channels

Lots of character and plenty of breakfast provided in the hamper which kept us going!
It does get a little cold but there is an extra heater in the lounge. A few fluffy blankets would be nice additional though. I always take my own though so not a fuss.

The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast food, tea, coffee etc was very well provided.
Owner did check we had arrived and all OK.
The sofa is old and worn out.
They need a new toilet seat and shower rail as rusty and stained.
Although it's a cottage we did not expect 5 foot doorways - Man of 6 foot 5inches
Man could not stand up in the shower over bath.
Heating is controlled by the owners.
Awkward washing up in a bathroom.

The property was beautiful and very cosy exactly as advertised. The location was great and very quiet for a peaceful night sleep. Parking is down a private driveway which is great for avoiding door dings and the complimentary food items and drinks were great.

The cottage is lovely and cosy with a lot of different choice for breakfast. The cottage is quite big with two floors and a brand new bathroom. Very welcoming host, 100% recommended.

Very charming little cottage offering privacy and relaxed setting
I'm very tall and so moving around the cottage and using the bathroom was awkward. But it was manageable

The accommodation is as described. All was clean and comfortable and well equipped including breakfast cereals, milk, pastries fruit and extras. It is quiet and the view to the river is beautiful. Parking is easy, close to the door. Good position for driving to University, Hospital and Norwich City.
The absence of a permanent sink at the end of the breakfast bar to wash plates and cutlery but the bowl is acceptable provision.
