The location was lovely and quiet, only a few vehicles passing each day. The view was wonderful, hills with cattle and horses just the other side of the road, perfect
The mugs were a bit small, that's all

A beautiful cottage in a tranquil village, close to Great Torrington and only 20 minutes drive from the nearest beach. Our first impressions of the house were that it was supper clear and tidy and the cottage appeared exactly how it looked in the photos. The host greeted us upon our arrival and given some very helpful information about the area. Very kindly, the host left eggs, bread and butter for us. Finally, the outside sitting area has amazing sunset views, and we used that space nearly every evening.
The two sofas are old, and the beds were laid with winter duvets (despite that the weather forecast was clearly indicating a heatwave during our one-week stay at the cottage).

Extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped accommodation in a tranquil rural location, only a short distance from the coast. Had a lovely stay!

Excellent facilities, the hosts had provided a few essentials so we didn't need to rush out and get milk/butter/bread. Kitchen well equipped and property was clean. Lovely outdoor area to sit and have a cup of tea/G&T or glass of wine and enjoy the sunset.
Although there was a shower attachment, there was nowhere to actually hang it so you had to either shower one handed or position the showerhead in the bath while you washed. Wi-Fi okay but don't expect to be able to download large files (not the host's fault, just one of those parts of the country).

Lovely quiet location in a beautiful part of the countryside. The cottage had everything we needed: fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and sofas to relax on after a day on our feet. The sheep and their little lambs outside were a joy to behold and listen to. There are shops in the town nearby and the coast is a short drive away.
It wasn't a problem for us, but it's worth noting the wi-fi speed is very rural, so if you want to watch anything online, better download it ahead of your stay :)

The peaceful location. Country views.
Home baked bread, milk, eggs and wine on arrival day
There was no broom, mop, vacuum cleaner or spare bin bags.
In the kitchen there wasn't any foil, cling film, grease proof paper, kitchen roll or plate/food cover for the microwave.
No complementary tea, coffee or sugar for arrival day.
Panasonic T.V with instructions for a Sony!, there was a selection of music cds but no player.
Sofas were very uncomfortable and the duvet was too small on the double bed which made for restless nights.
There was nowhere to hang the shower head to take a shower.
Could have done with extra/spare blankets.

The rural setting was so beautiful, and quiet. The nearest town was only a short drive away.
The wifi bandwidth/speed was slightly slow. I personally did not mind at all, but the mid 20s 'connected' individual had minor issues.
