We loved the isolated of the property. We were right in the mountains and it was so peaceful. We had booked transfers with the lodge which were all perfect, the food was lovely and the hospitality was really amazing - so attentive and thoughtful - nothing was a problem. The guide we booked via the lodge walked us through the mountains and villages to a lovely waterfall, and he was interesting to talk to. We really loved our stay at the lodge!
Nothing!

It’s the perfect place to have a chill and relaxing time in the nature with an amazing view of the Atlas mountains. Mohammed was an amazing host, I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality and kindness. I can’t wait to go back to Imlil again.

The authenticity of the place was lovely and the view is magical. Thank you Hassan for your warm hospitality and kindness.

Everyone is very kind and the view is really nice.
They have some activities such as hiking and cooking class. I loved this place and would love to comeback again!

Magical place, I have no words to express how charming it was. Once you are there, you need to book dinner - it is served with candles, smells, incredible atmosphere. Very tasty... Common areas are incredbile, the view from balconies are spectacular.
Once you enter this place, you enter different world....:)
I wouldn't dare to give anything but 10 for the overall review - they deserve 11 - but rooms are not as magical as common areas. For some people access to the place may be a problem, for us it wasn't

The view is a therapy ✨️
The room is so beautiful and fully equipped. I really adored the place, the vibe, and the souls 😌

Lovely staff, unique features, very clean and great views.
Some lose fittings in the lodge and the pin on Booking.com was wrong and sent us into Imlil. But the location was lovely.

Hassan was so accommodating, our stay at Berber Family Lodge was phenomenal- I booked for my partners birthday and it didn’t disappoint. The dinner, the rooms, the views were amazing- we will definitely be back.
Only that we should’ve stayed longer than one night!

The location is beautiful, it is really like the pictures. Easy to find (the are many signs before you arrive there). The dinner was worth it and also breakfast with the view was good.
There is a rooster just below the guesthouse, so in the morning don’t expect to sleep after 6.30/7am.

Stunning location looking down the valley. Very helpful host with lovely food in the evening.
Nothing except a note for those driving that there is a narrow road to a communal parking area and then a short walk up steps and through houses to this lodge. It's worth the effort!

The place is magical, everything about it is just calm and natural , the people treated us more like family than just costumers we loved it.

A great guest house with stunning views! Mohammed was very helpful and helped to reunite one of the group with an item of jewelry we left behind.

The view and the room was good for the price we pay
Dificult to be found and large distance from where you have to leve the car and the was to arrived to the hotel
if you have a havy lagguage take it into account.

One of the most fantastic places we stayed in Morocco. The food was incredible, the staff so kind and helpful, the room great, and the views were STUNNING. There is an upstairs terrace but the porches were the place to be. There are fewer rooms than I expected, so there were not many guests — giving us a lot of privacy. Sitting in the breakfast room reading a book and staring at the mountains made me want to stay for a month. Will 100% be back!
Honestly -nothing- but if you don’t like hiking much with all your belongings this may not be the Riad for you - it’s a 5-10 min walk up the side of the mountain and through the winding narrow village roads to get to the lodge from the end of the road. that made it even better for me, but important to note for others who would not like this.

This was a lovely place to spend time in Imlil! Our host was extremely kind and attentive, and the view of the mountains was stunning. They also provided one of the best tangine dinners we had in Morocco. The rooms were comfy and beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend!

The view is unbelievable! The room was very comfortable. The atmosphere in the lodge feels quaint and authentic! There are nice decks to relax and take in the view. This was for sure one of my favourite stops on our month and a half trip around Morocco! We are not mountain climbers but there are still beautiful places to hike around the village. We walked to the next village and met some really nice people and the next day climbed the back mountain about 3/4 s up and really enjoyed the views on the way up! Came home to a delicious tagine!
If you are driving, you need to be prepared for a bit of an adventurous drive up to the village. It is a very small road only one car wide. I suggest arriving when there is still light out. It's a good walk upwards also after you park, so as long as you are ok with that, it is certainly worth the effort! We are not mountain trekers but there are still beautiful places to hike and explore around the village. We hiked to tge next village and climbed 2/3 s of the back mountain.

Absolutely perfect. A warm hospital environment amongst wonderful family

Nothing luxurious but that's not what we were looking for. If you're searching for an authentic experience, in a Berber village that's a 15 minute walk from Imlil, then I would strongly suggest the Berber Family Lodge. Hassan, the manager, will work overtime to make sure you have everything you need. The food was delicious, as were the views.

The location was lovely , in the heart of a Berber village with views over the mountains, about 30 mins walk from the hustle of Imlil . ( the Lodge can arrange transport if you prefer not to walk) The Lodge is comfortably furnished , with a very relaxed atmosphere so you feel very at home. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. Mohammed was very good at communicating before our arrival and made all the arrangements for us even during our stay . Hassan is a gem in taking care of us and we loved him . They were very efficient at organising daily treks for us with a knowledgable friendly and patient guide called Rdoune who took us up on mountain walks we would never find ourselves , eating in local villages. I would highly recommend this place for a unique experience of Berber hospitality.

Such a unique place and location in a tiny mountain village it's hard to compare to anything else. We felt comfortable and at home in a place that was nowhere like home. Perfect place to start a day walking around the mountains. Heater in the room worked well once we got it working and the steaming hot tagines each night in the cosy candle lit dining room were very special. Very quiet at night with amazing views of the stars! Piping hot shower too!
Our bed was two singles pushed together. We were fine with it but good to know for anyone with sensitive sleeping preferences.

Super friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and meals. We went on a trek arranged by the Berber Familiy Lodge, with a local guide, called Hassan, which was wonderful. He was friendly, and knowledgeable, spoke good English and even better French, and was very accommodating to our wishes.

This is an absolutely gorgeous and super unique place to stay. The view is incredible and decor gorgeous. Very memorable!
It’s not extremely comfortable if you were staying here for an extended period, and it was very pretty difficult to get to. However I would still thoroughly recommend staying here if you travel to Imlil.

The hospitality of Hasan! We really love the view! 10 stars!
