Bolster-type pillow and quite hard-no soft pillows so uncomfortable.
No tea or coffee-making facilities

The hotel itself is well located but arriving by car is complicated. It was an easy walk to the port and beach. The owner was very friendly and helped with the car parking in a local lock-up garage.
Not being Spanish speakers - our fault, not the hotel’s! - made any communication in the town extremely difficult.

The hotel is located in a beautiful building and furnished with taste. Excellent amenities and a very pleasant and helpful staff.
Nothing really.

The service from the girl at the reception was amazing. She was extremely friendly, explaining everything about the small town and she immediately made us feel at home. We had a room with a french balcony facing the town square which was amazing.
The explanation on how to reach the hotel could be clearer given the fact that the city center area where the hotel is located was closed for cars

We loved the design of the 17th century building that is now a lobby, restaurant and hotel rooms with nice decor.

location was very central, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly
the rooms faced out on the public square which were incredibly loud all night and into the morning; the rooms were very small

The staff went out of their way to accommodate us despite our limited Spanish. The location was excellent and the view of the cathedral was stunning. The recommendations from the owner were fantastic and helped us to explore the beautiful town.

There is not much to like!
The hotel states on Booking .com it has air conditioning but there is no AIR CONDITIONING. The rooms are very hot so it’s impossible to sleep with the windows shut, if you open the windows the outside noise keeps you awake half the night.
Booking .com takes no responsibility for what is written on their website and the hotel refuses to give any compensation for the fact you are paying for air conditioning but there is none
My advice is not to book this hotel if you want to sleep or take too much notice of what is written on Booking .coms website as they never check that the information provided by the hotels is truthful.
The breakfast is mediocre, the coffee cold and the croissants are awful as they come in a plastic wrapper
I would not recommend the place to anyone

A beautiful family run boutique hotel perfectly located in the centre of Lekeitio and next to the port and beach. I had a lovely room with antique furniture and little juliet balcony overlooking the plaza and with views of the cathedral and water. Isabelle the owner was extremely kind and generous with her time recommending some lovely bars for pinxtos, walks & places of interest. I had a wonderful few days in Leketio and would love to return and stay here again someday. Gracias Isabelle por todo! 😊
Nada - todo perfecto

Authentic renaissance palace, traditionally refurbished. Excellent location.
Forgot to close the Windows as the hotel is just near a popular bar where people are chitchatting outside until late in the night.
