Gute Lage
Großzügige Räumlichkeiten
Restaurant:

The quality of the service and the location are well worth the price. For its price, it is a great find and the golf course looks wonderful. there is plenty of parking and the quiet of the hotel was much welcomed.
I would have expected more toiletries (such as a shower cap) being a 4 star, and the breakfast was minimal though good. The room was dimly lit and quite warm but the big window let a lot of light and air in.

Breakfast was excellent. The room however was mediocre in terms of facilities and comforts.
We expected a better and nicer room. There were very few facilities for a 4 star. No gown, no slippers, no minibar. Decor very basic and quite worn. Needs refurbishment soon.

Nice location
Standard room, basic bathroom, almost no healthcare products, varied breakfast yet served on Cantin plateau. Overall, the experience is the one of a chain 3-stars hotel. acceptable but basic

Bar and Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Our meal was good.
We had booked an upgraded room. What we received was a room overlooking the back of the hotel with a noisy kitchen extraction directly below the window. it kept us awake most of the night.
The basin in the bathroom was severely discoloured so it looked dirty. The bath had a shabby repair at the side of the pipes and there was no hand grip to assist when getting out of a slippery surface.

The restaurant and restaurant staff were excellent.
A superior room was booked. If that was superior I would hate to see a standard. The bathroom finish was terrible although it was clean. There was a continuous noise from outside which kept us awake all night. When we asked about it in the morning we were casually told it was over the kitchen vents.
We checked with reception that it would not happen on the next pre booked visit.

Really convenient hotel on the outskirts of St Etienne. Very warm welcome from the receptionist. The countryside around the Town looks well worth exploring and the motorway from / up to Clermont-Ferrand is simply stunning. The inviting golf course has suffered this year (2022) from the very hot, dry Summer and though well supported, judging by the cars in the carpark, will take a wet, mild Winter to return to its best.
The breakfast was outstanding; quite possibly designed by a golfer, for golfers.
The first bottle of wine we chose at dinner was well past its best but this was exchanged without fuss. Sadly our waiter, though attentive, had bad breath and looked as though he had turned up for work without his hotel attire. None of the restaurant staff gave the impression of enjoying their work or each other's company. All in all, a rather subdued vibe.

The pool, bar and restaurant were excellent.
The music around the pool are was too loud and became annoying after a while.
The bathroom was poorly designed eg mirror too high and complicated taps!
The hotel was covered in scaffolding and there was a strong smell of paint. I would have appreciated being pre-warned about the renovations.

It had a lot of very pretty lights.
It had a piano.
Despite informing the hotel in advance, there were no vegan and vegetarian meals prepared for us. Dinner was a struggle.
We wanted to buy drinks at the bar but it was shut.
The reception area was being painted

Rrooms are clean
It was not possible to sleep in the night. There was a marriage and the music was so loud. The hotel was not interested and just saying that there is a marriage...
Never again paying so much money and the did not care about their guests.
Nobody informed us about this wedding...

Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy parking and the pool was great.
Although the restaurant food was very good, restaurant staff were not friendly and offered poor service.

Wasn’t outstanding but was simple and clean.
Felt quite impersonal, staff didn’t say hello or ask you how everything was. All had wet little English but they were nice in the main. Pool was freezing!
