Location perfect, staff very friendly, undercover parking for motorbikes was a relief.
Parking expensive, small room, comfortable bed, tv didn’t work, room very hot.

All was really good.
There was nothing not to like, honestly!

The hotel was conveniently located downtown near the river and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the view from the sauna terrasse was stunning.
Unfortunately, the WiFi in our room wasn't working during our stay. We communicated this with the staff at the front desk and they did their best to resolve the issue. Luckily, we were too busy enjoying the beautiful weather to really be impacted by the lacking WiFi and it did not have a negative impact on our stay.

The terrace is a great place to spend the afternoon with a cool drink and voyer at the activities in the street below.
The room was a good size even if the decor is a little dated, however the bathroom, especially the shower, is too small.
There is no air-conditioning or fan, meaning an open window is the only means of ventilation, leaving the room exposed.

Great location.
Excellent breakfast.
No affordable parking near the hotel.
Room was cleaned every second day. The towels provided were not very clean. I was grossed out by the stains in some of them.
Old fashioned carpets are not very hygienic especially since pets are allowed in the hotel.

A pretty hotel along the riverfront in the centre of Cochem. Excursion boats are right outside the door. Breakfast was good but the items in the chafing dishes needed to be kept hotter. we had an evening meal on the terrace restaurant which was really good despite a very limited choice. Staff were all helpful
Like many of the hotels & restaurants it could do with a little bit of an update. You had to carry a large lumpy metal room key ring around because the doors still have old fashioned locks.
The pillows were flat and inadequate. Towels were soft but small. Our curved fronted shower was particularly cramped. Also there was a very strange rough loopy carpet which was unpleasant to walk on barefoot.
Although there is a lift you still have to use stairs to the reception and the lift doesn’t go to the rooms on 6th floor

The hotel was beautiful & clean . The rooms were spacious & airy . It was in a perfect location for the river & the shops .
When we arrived they told us it was an extra 20€ each day to park which is very expensive so we didn't use that . There were no tea & coffee facilities in the rooms . We stayed 3 days & they didn't change towels or clean room . The beds were singles put together but they didn't have double beds in rooms .

The location is amazing-right at the city center facing the Mosel River and close to shops, bars, and great restaurants and the staff is friendly and professional, very accommodating. The breakfast on the terrace with the Mosel view was very nice and their milk coffee in particular was very good.
I had paid extra to have a balcony with a Mosel River view. However, when I saw my room, the view was obscured by trees. While the trees are very nice too, I paid extra to specifically have a view of the Mosel. Additionally, the internet did not work in my room at all and only worked a short time on the restaurant terrace.

Some precautions for covid 19
Two calls to say credit card declined but used same card ok on arrival where staff insisted i pay both room on this card on arrival, pillows on bed were uncomfortable hard like a large sack of potato’s.
Staff not very help, draconian rules and charges 150 euro if you forgot your room key and wanted to get in after 9pm, 50 euro deposit for garage key on top of 16 euro charge.
