Close to the beach
Very outdated in places. Lifts tiny & claustrophobic.
Breakfast was basic.

Very friendly staff in this hotel!. Yes the hotel is a bit old-fashioned but if you like that it shouldn't be a problem. Clean rooms and i had an outstanding view from my room!, with a nice view on the adriatic sea from my balcony. Some people complain about a small bathroom, yes it is small but it's ok. The room is very spacious. Good cleaning service. Kind staff in the breakfastroom and decent breakfast.
Furthermore very central located, with a few nice restaurants closeby and the beach around the corner :)
A bit hard matresses and furthermore almost only italian tv channels.

some areas a little tired letting other residents smoke on their balconies

location, Size of room, view, helpful staff
breakfast was disappointing, bathroom was quite small, especially considering the size of the room itself, bed was too soft.

very small bathroom

The room is huge and the hotel is very close to the beach. The location is excellent. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of choice, they were providing some new options every day. The hotel also has a discounted rate for one of the private beaches.
Rooftop swimming pool is great too and has amazing views overseeing the sea as well as San Marino in the opposite direction. The beach is very clean and perfect for children as it’s shallow and they don’t seem to be getting many tall waves there. I was intentionally trying to find some rubbish in the beach or in the water as a challenge to test the cleanliness, but couldn’t find anything at all in a week. Very impressive!
The hotel is one of the older ones with small “retro” lifts (which we found rather fun as it feels like going up in a huge suitcase). In some places we could see wallpapers that were a bit “tired”, but we could also see a handyman going around the hotel and fixing whatever needed to be fixed. Sound insulation is not great in the bathroom and we could hear neighbours talking, but overall our stay was very pleasant and we would stay there again when visiting Rimini.

The staff was very helpful and super kind, the room and the balcony was pretty decent, and the pool on the roof also worth some time spending there, the view is great, and there were not many people. There was a big variety of breakfast to choose from. All in all, we had a great time there, even considering the mentioned things.
The bed matress was worn, the individual springs were pretty noticeable. We had the suite with the beach view, which in reality meant that the room is facing the street, but the sea is visible from the balcony - this was OK, but 2 out of 5 nights there was very loud music in a nearby bar. Though the breakfast was tasty there was no proper coffee machine (no freshly grinded) but you could order good coffee from the staff. (included in the breakfast) The juices were also not the best.

Good position and good breakfast.
Everything old and was not working properly in the room. Dirty and old room.

our room was good (suit), big and clean. the terrace was very nice
Very small and with not enough space to get out from the shower. Very old equipment, urgent need for refurbishment. Shower tap was leaking badly.
Very poor attitude of the receptionist missing basics common sense and hospitality.
For parking the car at the hotel we had to let the key to the reception , which we understood, but then they asked us to sign a responsibility disclaimer, that if they would damage our car they don’t take any responsibility .

Perfect view to the sea, good breakfast wide range of choice. Super italian espresso for breakfast. Nice and polite stuff, super close to the sea and the best restaurants in Rimini. Room is clean!

It is a great hotel, close to the beach. Nice staff, great breakfast, they even served coffee. The room was cozy, with comfortable bed. The rooftop pool with great view to the beach and to Rimini was a huge addition for our afternoons.
Nothing I could think of.

- Location is great.
- Stunning view!
- Staff is friendly.
- Pool on the roof is a bonus
- Bicycle for free 3h a day was great thing
We had suite on the 5th floor - number 508. We booked it for 14 nights!!! That was a great mistake because then we wanted to leave hotel after 2 nights but cancellation policy was 100% loss so we decided to stay.
- overall old-fashion room, with falling wallpapers. Not 4 star hotel experience. More like 2-3 star...
- small bathroom
- after taking a shower - a lot of water on the floor
- air-conditioning - staff has a possibility to control it remotely. Once it was switching off during the second night, so we asked to customise and the problem was fixed. But still 16 degrees is not 16 - perhaps the temperature is limited by staff to 23 or so... It does not cool down below that. And manual mode always switches to auto after 5 min.
- constant noise from above even though this was the top floor. Noise is flowing water (perhaps pipes for the pool), plus when ppl move their sunbeds.
- cleaning is so so. Not to 4*. Balcony glass was dirty causing bad experience when sitting there during evenings.
- absolute ABSENCE of any kind of ropes or anything to hang up wet bikini or swimming shorts.
- pillows were not comfortable
- cleaning staff forgot to close door 2 times, as well as leave sheets.
- slippers were promised but were ABSENT in the room.
- parking on the territory of the hotel. Cars were everywhere except perhaps lobby and restaurant. Had to squeeze between and go around. Not good.
- Breakfast: nearly the same food for all 14 mornings. Not many vegetables. ABSENCE of prosciutto!!! Ah? In Italy?
- beach was not included in the price - and that was not clearly described. It was an additional cost that is hidden. Will try to claim from booking.com as it is not clear from the description and even misleading. By saying you stay in Waldorf you may get better price by negotiating with staff at the beach #25, we agreed on umbrella #5 for 14 days at 17 € a day. They had a table were the price was dependent on the # of days.

Waldorf it’s nice hotel, 5 min close to the sea, free pool on the roof and super friendly staff. Room was cleaning every morning very fast. Administration was very friendly and helps us with all questions.
Breakfast was always cold, and not tasty at all. Everyday the same dishes( omelet with sausages and cold vegetables(
But coffee was really good.

The hotel is perfectly located right nearby the sea. It is not far away from the old downtown, as you can walk 20 minutes or use a scooter which takes 5 minutes.
I would like especially to express my deepest thanks and appreciation for the service. Waiters are very polite and professional, reception staff is very helpful and kind.
Room were clean and very spacious, entrance area of the hotel looks beautiful.
The swimming pool on the roof is quite something, it has a great view and not very crowded.
In my opinion a bit overpriced.
Parking cant be reserved, thus it cases a big trouble to drive somewhere from the hotel as somebody can take your place and you will need to wonder around the area to find one. Fortunately, we didn't have such situation, but hypothetically it could happen.
No one-time slippers were provided, for such a price they could have been given.
Hotel doesn't provide iron for you to iron your cloths, which has always been provided for me in almost all hotels i stayed in. The only option for you is to give them cloth to iron. but it is quite expensive in my opinion.
