A beautiful place to stay

Really friendly and welcoming reception staff who gave us a lovely start to our stay; we were also upgraded to a room with a large private terrace and a view over the lake which was great. The room was extremely comfortable and the public areas - especially the pool and area round the pool bar - were beautiful.

The breakfast was expensive and we were rather rushed when eating as plates and food were being cleared away around us before we had finished. I've never known this happen before in any other hotel, and it's a bit disappointing when you have paid so much for the meal. I really enjoyed the stay and would love to go back - I won't bother with breakfast next time though.

The hotel, location and facilities spectacular

our room on the ground level had a damp smell, you had to pay separately for parking, the food was pretty basic (unappetising) at the pool bar.

Very friendly and professional personnel. Childfriendly +++ without being fake. Beautiful building and pool(also toddler pool). Excellent breakfast with many choices and good quality food. Indoor hallway which connects it to hotel Dino with lakeside indoor plus outdoor pool, gym, spa, play room which you can use. Nice for a walk in case of bad weather. Located in small but authentic village with several good lakeside restaurants/promenade. Less touristic / busy than Stresa. Very close to boat to the islands.

Standard room quite small for with toddler, as to be expected. However, there are amazing rooms with extreme large balcony at poolside.

Amazing!

The staff was so friendly and the hotel and pool area are absolutely beautiful! We had an amazing time at the hotel and it’s close to the center. We have a big car so we were happy they had enough space for parking.

It would’ve been nice if breakfast didn’t end at 9.45, but would be a bit later.

Elegant and stylish

This is my second experience in Zacchera Hotels, previously we stayed in Dino, and we couldn't be happier with the choice. Old fashioned elegance and style, great and friendly service, super clean. We even got an upgrade so we had an amazing stay. Thank you!

Superb

The breakfast terrace and bar were amazing with a spectacular view of the mountains. The staff were very helpful considering we arrived late and were able to arrange some toast and milk for my daughter. The rooms were clean.

The room was quite dated and I think in an old section of the hotel.

There was an issue with an offer for evening meal but Helena sorted it No kettle in room and it was on the small size door fit the bedside table Parking in insecure car park 19€ a night but free parking across the street

picture perfect stay

Big hotel with amazing over the top decor. Dino is it’s sister hotel, equally good facilities that you can use - such as lake view at the pool.

Sounds - you could hear people in the hallway and roadnoise. Also the bed had a sort of plastic sheet underneath it which I would expect at a hostel, not at a fancy hotel. Other than these minor 2 points, we enjoyed it!

Disappointing

Despite being able to book, the hotel was actually closed and were offered to change to the Dino hotel (same group). That was the good part. In the Dino hotel staff was really uninterested in the guests. Ordering a beer on the terrace was near impossible. Not that is was busy, rather a result of a highly inefficient workflow. Getting some coffee at breakfast was a challenge.

Pool area was great, and that our dog was allowed to come to the garden with us- super amazing!

Breakfast was (due to Corona) not self service and very Italian- lots of sweets, not many healthy options.
