Bel Hôtel doté d'un excellent emplacement

L'hôtel est très bien situé, tout est proche et peut se faire à pied. Le parking payant (23€) est juste à côté de l'hôtel mais il faut réserver et envoyer un mail pour être certain qu'il y a de la place. J'avais informé l'hôtel que je faisais une surprise à mon mari et nous avons eu une jolie surprise en arrivant : d'une chambre standard réservée initialement nous avons été surclassés avec une junior suite ! C'était vraiment très agréable. Petit plus, 2 spécialités pâtissières nous attendaient sur la table, très bonnes d'ailleurs avec un petit mot. Je comprends certains commentaires relatifs au besoin d'une éventuelle rénovation/rafraichissement de la déco (douche plutôt que baignoire pour l'accessibilité, la moquette...) mais la chambre était très agréable. Literie parfaite. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner, très très varié où tout est bien noté (c'est un détail mais très appréciable) avec du kéfir par exemple, des müeslis proteinés, salé, sucré et toutes les boissons possibles. Point très important, le personnel est vraiment très professionnel, adorable, souriant et discret. Nous sommes arrivés vers 15h30 et avons pu laisser notre voiture jusqu'à 18h le lendemain ce qui nous a permis de visiter d'autres coins de Bilbao. Nous avons passé un court séjour et il fut très agréable. Merci encore pour le surclassement.

Ville au passé très industriel à n’en pas douter. Cette ville se vise facilement à pied et en bus

Zu teuer für die Leistung.

Zentrale Lage

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich wirklich die Superior-Kategorie bekommen habe, die ich gebucht hatte. Das Zimmer war im ersten Stock und hatte daher nicht die Grösse, die die Zimmer ab dem zweiten Stock hatten, die noch jeweils einen Erker hatten. Müsste mal überprüft werden. Zimmer-Nr. war 123.

Comfortable and pleasant. Good location.

The location was perfect, on the riverfront and just between the Guggenheim and the Old Town. Easy walking distance to both of those and very close to the tram stop. It was great to have tea and coffee in the room. The bed was comfortable. The lobby and bar area were very pleasant. Complimentary water was appreciated.

The heating/cooling system did not work well. There were no shower caps or other loose toiletries in the bathroom.

The team at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel - right in front of the river - was very convenient. The hotel was great value for money.

The furniture in the bedrooms is quite dated and gives a slightly old feeling to the bedroom.

La estadía más incómoda que he pasado, no lo recomiendo ni repetiría jamás!

La atención fue correcta, el hotel era bonito y estaba bien ubicado pero lamentablemente tenía muchas más cosas negativas.

El desayuno era lamentable y lo más incómodo fue que llegamos en unos días de calor y el hotel solo tenía calefacción, a pesar de apagarla y abrir la ventana (que por cierto casi no se podía abrir porque una mesa la bloqueaba) el calor era insoportable…no se podía estar ni 30 minutos ahí porque era un agobio y dormimos FATAL. Creo que al ser un hotel y uno 4 estrellas debería estar preparado para cualquier tipo de clima y poder modificar la temperatura al gusto de cada huésped. Tampoco limpian bien las habitaciones. Ha sido la estadía más incómoda que he pasado.

great, apart from slippery tiles and staff that could hve been friendlier

amazing breakfast, wide range of sweet and savoury and wonderful fruit, also I noticed options for celiacs and lactose intollerance. Choice of tea however was poor, the only weak point.

the tiles at the entrance get wet with the rain (which happens often in Bilbao) and no care is placed in alerting customers or in making the tiles slip-proof.

Only downside was the total absence of TV in English, other than BBC news channel. It would be nice if they provided more than the basic free channels, so there would be something one could watch.

Great hotel in great location

The receptionist Mr Pol. He has great knowledge of Bilbao and speaks perfect English. He explained the city and guided us where to visit. The rooms were designed well and amenities works well.

Just an average hotel on the edge of the city

It was clean and the parking was close by. Just an average room in a non-discript hotel. Old town was a 20 min walk. No restaurants close by.

Convenient, clean, value for money and friendly.

Great location. Accommodation was perfect for our one night stay. Breakfast also good.

We did request interconnecting rooms however this was not provided. They did put the rooms next to each other which was fine just not ideal as we were split. Also parking in the downstairs carpark was an issue. We ended up parking at a public car park 5 mins down the road.

スタッフの対応は素晴らしいものがありました。安心して泊まれるホテルです。部屋は広く、清潔でした。ロビーには冷たい飲み水とガラスコップが置かれ、喉が渇いていたこともあり、とても助かりました。朝食は、量と品数が多く、清潔でした。さらに、調理場のスタッフが黙々と働く姿に感動をしました。タクシーの手配を依頼した時など、大通りの乗車口まで案内してくれ、助かりました。

Nice hotel but it needs refurbishment

The location is very good, the neighbourhood is nice, green and clean, the river and Guggenheim in front are a plus. The staff is friendly and happy to assist.

It needs a refresh and refurbishment. The furniture is old, the bath has old bath tubs and stained tile floors.

Our stay exceeded our expectations

Great location! Being next to a bridge saves much walking to and from everyone in the city. It is definitely worth asking for a river view room. The staff is really professional and they will get out of their way to make you feel good.

Comfortable, clean & at good distance from Gügenheim, the old & new city and the metro. We liked the underground parking of the hotel. You can leave you car safe & enjoy Bilbao by strolling around. The hosts are very friendly and helpfull. Many thanks for Miriam, you have been very supportive & you always take your sun with you ❤️
