Recepcionista de la mañana poco comunicativa, algo irrespetuosa al no responder un simple buenos días cuando uno le consultaba algo. Restaurant de baja calidad.

Overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay and I would recommend but with provisos

Very large rooms, quiet location, parking on site, extensive garden area, very light and airy, good breakfast except for coffee machines

A little tired in places e.g. dining area and pool ( broken or loose ladder into pool). Would have been very difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Garden not well kept but this may be down to current water restrictions in Spain. Little far out from town with steep climbs on return. Chose for proximity to Botanic Gardens but further that looks on map or suggested on Booking.com

Heerlijk hotel met goede prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding

Lokatie, 5 min lopen naar verschillende leuke strandjes. Ruime moderne kamer met balkon met prachtig zeezicht. Fijn bed en ruime badkamer. Goede airco en ijskastje op kamer. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Mooie tuin met zwembad

Koffie/thee faciliteit op kamer zou fijn zijn. En douche in bad is ietwat smal.

Las vistas desde la terraza de la habitación son espectaculares, la cama muy grande y cómoda. Los jardines del hotel con el servicio de bar son todo un acierto.

You have to come here

The property was really close to the beach and the town. Also, you can park and there are plenty of spaces. The pool and restaurant were awesome and the breakfast incredible.

The wifi was really slow in the second floor.

Wonderful, helpful staff. Spacious, immaculate clean room with a bathroom with bathtub. Quietly located on the edge of the centre, still all within walking distance.

Wifi sometimes didn't work that well, but no big deal.

Serene stay in the pine forest overlooking the mountains and coast

Wonderful experience at Hotel Garbi. Pleasant and helpful reception. Nice view from the terrace. Comfortable, supportive mattress. Spacious bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. Fantastic spread for breakfast. Lots of peace and quiet at this hotel.

The wifi didn't reach our room. Reception didn't have an ethernet cable to use a different router and offered to move us to another room. Shampoo / shower gel watered down in the shower. These are minor points, as we had an absolutely lovely stay!

Excellent time of year to explore the Costa Brava (the week after Easter). Not crowded.

Buffet breakfast very good. Something for every taste, including catalan style breakfast.

Mineral water was provided in the bedrooms, it would have been nice to keep it in a mini fridge. I would have liked a kettle in the room.

Lovely traditional hotel with fab breakfast

Good size room, fantastic breakfast, lovely staff. Pool and gardens nice and not far to walk to little town.

Really only downside was if you couldn't manage steps as tiered gardens and steps down to town. But perfectly manageable for able.

Good location good views, nice staff, nice gardens , cleanliness

Beds too hard , given adjoining room ,after requesting a double bed , got two singles, restaurant shut / mid October !. Heating controls complicated.

very comfortable hotel with delightful balcony views of palafrugell

large double room with lovely balcony having really good views out over palafrugell to the sea beyond , room was very quiet, big ensuite , good wifi , fridge (well stocked if thats your thing) 2 bottles of water , very gratefully received , nice size pool in lovely grounds of pine trees

unlike many hotels in october there was no flexibility in early arrival time ,the hot water was abundant in the morning but my mid/late afternoon was luke warm , i applaud the green philosophy , but its a hotel ??

Comfortable large room with sea view and balcony. Nice pool area. Excellent breakfast.

We loved our stay and hope to return

comfortable large rooms with good sized comfortable beds, friendly staff, lovely grounds.

The pool area could be a little spruced up but it’s a minor point.

nice setting, lovely gardens.

Would have liked a kettle in the room with coffee/ tea making possibilities . The bath was a jacuzzi which didn’t work and was very uncomfortable to sit in. There was a problem at the meal, a marked dessert was not available.

Enjoyed our stay but hotel requires an update

The room was nice. The pool area was nice. The outdoor seating areas were nice. Breakfast had a big selection. The location is good. I slept very well in the bed and liked the pillows. The AC is great.

The room was missing a fridge. Apart from the rooms, the hotel is dated and needs to be updated a little. It needs new sun loungers around the pool as they're quite old and dirty. The jacuzzi is full of leaves from the trees above (staff should be using a net to remove this regularly). It's not ideal having to walk through the restaurant every time you want to go to the pool or leave the hotel. The smell from the restaurant is not good.

Lovely hotel staff very friendly. Hotel very clean. Staff were very helpful.

To get to the beach or restaurants you had to climb a lot of steps.
