Clean, comfortable, quiet and great situation for exploring around Norfolk.
Dog supplement a bit expensive for just a small dog.

Good location, free parking, comfy bed.
Shower was a little annoying, kept going from hot to cold and the pressure was quite low. Behind the sink it looked like it had never been cleaned and was a little shocked. Other than these two things I enjoyed my stay and staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Friendly efficient service. lovely room. all very clean and fresh. Plenty available at breakfast. Not at all far from the city centre.

The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I have been a regular guest for over ten years now. My last visit due to health issues was probably my last visit. I always liked it there. It is central not far from the station but nevertheless quiet. You can park there. It is great for coastal walks which was why I always went there and the hotel is good value. Thanks to all the staff who were always so kind and friendly over the years.

With a late arrival they had arranged a number for us to call and make sure we could get booked in. Was lovely and warm and comfortable.
Nothing that I can think of

lovely features and fire in the bar and food was amazing. the young gentleman housekeeper was fantastic as were all the other staff throughout. also great that there is an EV charging point.
only small thing was our room was next to the boiler/heater plant room so it was quite hot even with the radiator off and window open. sounds mad in the winter but it was still comfortable enough to sleep in. to be fair I didn’t mention it to the hotel as it’s probably because I’m a cold blooded northerner…

The duty manager was fabulous and made the difference.
the first we were placed in was very cold, radiator didn’t work and the weather was freezing.

Beautiful building, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable. Best pub bar ever.
Plumbing in our room was a bit in need of attention but could still have a nice warm bath.

Rooms were lovely, my husband and daughter stayed in room 6 which has a spectacular four poster bed and very large bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub which delighted my daughter. Everything was comfortable, spacious, and super clean. Quiet too, perfect location for sleeping soundly. Breakfast was totally fine, I wouldn't say delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection. Staff were truly lovely, hard working and friendly, very accommodating. They served us drinks on arrival very late at night, 11pm.
The only slight criticism in terms of decor is the slightly old people's home-looking kettle/tea set in our room. A black electric kettle and quirky, vintage china cups would be a marked improvement, but it's such a tiny detail. Breakfast: the fried bread was disappointing, I expected a real slice of sourdough bread lightly fried on the pan, not a frozen yellow triangle out of a packet and deep fried. Also no vegan butter or milk available, which was an issue for me as a vegan.

I comfortable room in a pleasant hotel in a quiet part of the town.
