Great location in a quiet cove. The rooms were amazing and it was quite charming. Having access to the beach out front was nice.

Nothing. I tried to change dates due to a family emergency. I called the hotel directly and left messages. I also contacted through Booking.com portal. Absolutely no response or return calls.
Zero communication

Upon checking in and finding out the restaurant at the resort was closed the night of our stay, front desk clerk Wynd and dining room waitress, Elizabeth brought soup, bread, and wine to our room to help soften the news. Soup and bread were tasty, and the wine superb. Thank you, you two, for your thoughtful treat.
To short a stay.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and welcomes my pets very well. Very suitable for those looking for a peaceful place to stay.
The hotel is quite far from restaurants or other places. You have to drive about 15 minutes to get to the nearest convenience store.

Location on the bay was wonderful. The tall ceiling in our third floor room made the unit feel more spacious. The bed was very comfortable.
Free coffee ended at 8:00am.

This is a good option for an impromptu getaway for locals from Seattle. It's a manageable ferry trip, lovely drive and location, and pleasant resort. Elizabeth the breakfast server was phenomenal. Breakfast was tasty. It was pleasant to stroll on the beach and watch birds and seals in the water.
My gold-star standard for PNW getaway destinations at around this price point is the Chrysalis Inn and Spa in Bellingham. With that as a point of comparison, this resort was underwhelming. The property is dated and the materials are somewhat shabby, bare and low quality. The hallways smelled musty. Our room had a partial view of the water, but the parking lot was the main feature. Nothing feels built to last and the rooms aren't particularly cozy or sumptuous. That said, it was a perfectly pleasant destination for sunny, last-minute weekend getaway. I just wouldn't plan a high stakes trip here.

The ferry is a little challenging when staying for 1 night.

peaceful, beautiful location.
love that the tub can be opened to the room, only wish the toilet room had a door. A tiny ottoman in front of the fireplace would have made it perfect to warm up our feet while playing footsie.

location, restaurant,lovely size room
room may need a bit of paint and updating.

this is one of our favorite places on earth.
I’d prefer in room coffee that’s not instant but it’s definitely ok!

The hotel is right by the water in a very peaceful and quiet location. We had a spacious corner room on the 3rd floor that had nice views of both the harbor and the open sea beyond it. A road runs right under the hotel, but it's closed off at night, so no worries about traffic noise. Breakfast at the restaurant was very tasty and the hotel staff very attentive and pleasant. There is a nice walking path from the inn to a promontory with a totem pole, and a small beach beyond that. Perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
The inside of the bathroom was visible from the bedroom as there is a large window in between. Also, some of the blinds were broken and couldn't be opened. The TV was not functional as well. There were some noises from the water pipes and doors being banged shut from adjacent rooms, but it quieted down considerably at night, so it didn't bother us.

Everything was great!

Always such a fun escape from the world when I come here. Always feel safe as a solo female traveler. Appreciate pet friendly rooms, the grounds, walking on the beach, on-site restaurant, comfortable bed.
I think you need to do more to make visitors with pets feel welcome. A $50 charge is excessive. Also not having bowls available in the room makes it difficult to feed and water pets.
