TV in bar was not working and a few of us were wanting to watch 6 nations rugby on STV. - we couldn’t and needed to watch in a bedroom x not great communication on this x

The breakfast was lovely each morning

Heating doesn't get turned on during the day and only goes on at 10pm, we had to ask for ut to be put on as we were freezing. Im not paying to stay in a hotel to be freezing The bed was the most uncomfortable bed and woke up with aches and pains

The bathroom was clean and large but just needed a little TLC, grout in floor tiles

No lift and a lot of stairs to second floor room. Had to ask for suitcase to be delivered to the room. One set of towels in a room for two, tried ringing reception on room phone without success so rang reception on my mobile which was answered and second set of towels brought promptly. Very expensive dinner menu in our opinion.

We stayed at the Golf Hotel as we had a birthday party nearby and the hotel exceeded expectations. It is a lovely hotel right on the Royal Dornoch Golf Courses with easy access to the beach and village. Room was excellent and food in the restaurant is first class. The staff did very well to accommodate a large number of us staying at the same time and we had no complaints. Would highly recommend staying if you are in the area.

Welcoming reception. Comfortable bedroom and smart bathroom. The bar service was friendly and obliging, and a warm and comfortable venue to spend the evening. Breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and very comfortable. Room was fantastic, i.e view, coffee, shower and decor. Will definitely stay again.

Areas of the hotel need a freshen up - the carpet on the stairs and corridors are worn out and brush paint is needed in the corridors.
