Sehr freundliches Personal, gemütliches Ambiente und reichhaltiges Frühstück 🙂.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, leckeres Frühstücksbuffet, sehr hundefreundlich, sehr sauber!
Kommen gerne wieder :)
Betten ein wenig zu hart für meinen Geschmack

Had only one time breakfast it was ok
I liked the staff very friendly spacious units
Could have cleaned better for example daily vacuuming
Better mattress for bed and a couple of pots in the kitchen if you stay longer like we did
4.3
Good sized room, sauna and close walking distance to the supermarket.
There was nothing to dislike
4.3
Room was lovely and clean.
Kitchen appliances were provided after request.

The room was spacious and had a small cooler with even a little fridge compartment, which was great! We appreciated the windows being allowed open all the way so we could let lots of fresh air in.
The check in proces was a bit of a mess; granted we arrived very, very late but it would have been nice if someone was available to hand us the keys in person and point us to where the room was, as it was a little confusing (the stairway down to our rooms was quite hidden and easy to miss, especially in the dark!) so we end up waiting for someone to help us out 15-20min.
Other than that parking was limited and sometimes hard to tell where you were and weren't allowed to park. Beds weren't crazy comfortable, mattress was a bit hard and the pillows had no support. Also spotted a little molding in the shower, and the room overall was a bit outdated and needed and update.
4.3
Super facilities and spacious accommodation. Parking right out front as shown and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only thing I could fault would be the view of the works yard outside, but it is a town location
4.3
Very good accomodation with good facilities. Breakfast very good. Convenient having excellent restaurant next door.
Shame about the poor lighting but the receptionist said that they would do something about it. Also were not told at the start how to turn on fridge.
4.3
Good location close to a number of bus routes into Heidelberg(18 minutes approx). Clean and comfortable
although the double mattress seemed oldish as each time one person moved it disrupted the other causing
them to be thrown around. Otherwise everything was fine and the room was very spacious. Friendly, helpful
staff. Good Greek style restaurant adjoining, although in separate ownership, serving good food at very
reasonable price.
Other than the comments regarding the mattress, nothing.

Great hotel, nice staff and convenient location. Thank you for the nice experience.

The most friendly clerk ever and a really nice room, an apartment actually that was large enough to entertain guests.
WiFi works great in the lobby and staircase but not in our room,

Very spacious rooms

The location is not that far from Heidelberg and a REWE is nearby. The place is pretty good for the money. It is spacious as specified in the description and getting the key while talking on intercom was pretty easy. They also gave directions to the apartment as it was not in the same building. It took me a few mins but it wasn't at all difficult.
Not much utensils were there in the apartment's kitchen. Not even a boiling pan (for milk) or knife. Somehow we managed with the butter knife. Having a kitchen without proper utensils doesn't really make sense. Wifi password wasn't written anywhere inside the place, I again had to go to the main building and ring the intercom to get to know the password. Wifi service was also not that fast even though I selected the router on my floor with the most bars. We wanted to have breakfast over there but once I saw what they were serving, I decided to walk to REWE to get something from the bakery. It is not worth spending 10 euros per person for breakfast at all over here.

General friendliness, patience and helpfulness of Thomas and the reception staff
Nice professional people; well maintained residence

Large spacious room with good facilities

Large combined living room, bedroom and kitchen, with private terrace/balcony (depending on which floor you're on). The room was in perfect condition and very spacious; breakfast was excellent. The hotel was clearly managed by a well-motivated owner who did everything to make the guests comfortable.

Location was great - quiet but within easy reach of other facilities and within minutes of our main route. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English and took time to escort us to the building where our room was located. The room itself was excellent, really spacious and comfortable. There were basic essentials for 2 people - Cutlery, crockery, glassware etc. However, despite having a hotplate, there were no cooking supplies e.g.pans. Tea and coffee, bottled water and small biscuits were provided, as well as toiletries, which was a nice touch. It was a very warm (30+°) day so the electric fan provided was a blessing. Overall we were delighted and will definitely use Residenz Royal again.
Some basic cooking utensils to go with the hotplate and/or a microwave would be great
4.3
Very nice room, exceptionally large and comfortable. Didn't get to use the facilities due to late arrival and early departure - wasted! I have the impression would be very nice. Fantastic to have a really hot long bath to soak in, a large desk to work on and a comfortable chair to relax in!
Cooking things were not in room but the staff were very nice and came over in 30 minutes to give them us. Rather basic but adequate. Parking was on the street, not too sure of the area I saw some questionable types at the REWE closeby.
4.3
The property is located close to A5 highway and is situated just opposite to Rewe supermarket. The room was big and the bed was comfortable after long day of driving. The room had all the mentioned amenities and the bathroom was well equipped. The parking was on the location and free of charge. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. We checked-in outside reception hours but it was smooth. What I liked the most about this property is that everything was so well organised that it was a hasslefree experience for the entire stay.
4.3
Comfort and quietness
Nothing. Everything was good
4.3
Spacious room with a nice balcony.
The building is too old. The toilet was stinky.
4.3
Very large room with kitchen space. Very good price.
The staff was not available when we wanted to ask for a pan for the kitchen.
Sometimes a smell of sewage in the bathroom.
4.3
The hotel was mostly closed due to Covid. It wasn't possible to make a fair judgement on facilities.
4.3
Room was super spacious. Had everything you need plus extras that I would expect from a higher rated hotel.
Kitchenette with fridge and water cooker plus essentials. Large sitting area. Clean bathroom. Spacious closet. Space to lay out the suitcases. Electrical outlets everywhere. The TV has an HDMI input so my FiresTV stick worked wonderfully but all German channels are available. The staff was very polite. I could easily spend a month in the room and be comfortable. There is a very large updated supermarket just a block away that's open to midnight and a gas station down the street. It's about 15-20 min drive to Heidelberg center without traffic. Parking at the hotel is free and plentiful.
- no air conditioner (tabletop fan provided)
- no elevator (staff carried our luggage up)
- rooms have rather aged carpet. (unhygienic nowadays)
4.3
Spacious room nicely furnished.
Very good value for money.
