everything- such incredible value for money!

Location, amenities and our host. Small grocery store within walking distance and large supermarket 10 minutes away by car.
The only thing I could fault was that there only a couple of coffee pods provided for our stay of 3 nights. But we encountered this often during our 3 weeks in Portugal and substituted tea instead.

This was a blissful oasis. Thank you to Rosa and the manager, Ana Maria, for taking care of our every need. Also thanks to the owners of the little grocery 100 metres away who took the time to tell us all about the wine in the region and even offered us a bottle from their private stock! We were delighted and touched. Be sure to visit the vineyard that’s Solar das Bouças, just a 15-minute walk away.
Guests sensitive to church bells should be aware, those bells at the lovely little igreja next door do ring! Regularly. But that’s to be expected everywhere in Portugal. It would be good to have a little book of instructions and advice, including information such as, careful not to let the wind catch the door if you left your key inside, as you will be locked out. Also, how does the fireplace work.

A very friendly host was happy to help us with any request. On arrival, we were provided with local fruits, vegetables, mandarine fresh, and wine. The apartment is nice - you are living like in the room of the castle. A fireplace creates cosiness - and nice that it's controlled automatically, so you cannot worry about it. With a car, you can quickly get to Braga and national parks.
In the winter, it could be a little bit cold until the room gets warm with the fireplace. However, this fireplace is loud and not comfortable to sleep with. The floor is very cold and the provision of slippers for guests would be nice.

A wonderful farm. The amount of detail put into the decoration is extraordinary, like being in a fairytale. Everything shows the amount of care the owners put into it. Our studio was huge and had everything for a comfortable warm stay, including a huge bathtub and an enormous tv, as well as very fast DSL. We made literally a last minute booking and nevertheless we were greeted warmly with a bottle of local wine and home made jam! Every day fresh bread and more jam was waiting for us as well! Two friendly cats also kept us nice company. The hostess is super nice and sweet and made sure we had a great time. There is a small mini market just around the corner for everything needed. We will definitely be back
Everything was great!
