very charming place and very close to the souk. I really enjoyed my stay there.
The wifi connexion should be more powerful
8.0
The location is extremely convenient for exploring Homt Souk (and Djerba in general), situated right next to the main market and within walking distance of the louage station. While the rooms are basic and perhaps in need of a lick of paint, they are perfectly comfy, relatively spacious and equipped with plug sockets and a hot shower, making it pretty good value for money at their prices

Great place, some english spoken, clean, hot showers, good wifi in the lobby. Right in the center of the town!
No wifi in the room.

Location excellent as right in town. Nice courtyard and handy having a shower in room
No en suite toilets.

Instead of the pre-booked room, I got a much bigger and especially more expensive one.

The location is perfect. Many restaurants, souks for shopping,...everything in the Medina of Houmt Souk. The owner is very friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi to bring us to the airport.
The bedroom is very small and the bathroom, toilet and showers are very old. But for this low budget price, we will not complain.

Great hotel for low budget

Great location, friendly, funky just as I like hotels to be. Nice courtyard for relaxing, a big room, ideal for well travelled tyres. Softies might want to trot on.

The hotel is right in Houmt Souk, close to all . Noise was not a problem. The staff helped out with a few details for a tour I had also
There's no plan with breakfast and there's no place nearby to get an omlette before 10 am

The place was ok for the price. The room I had will be good only for 1 night
It was too hot and no AC, Almost 42c = 107f and no A/C

Unfortunately we arrived late at night as we were profoundly dissappointed with the state of the accommdation and facilities. When we were shown to the room the bannister on the stairs was unsafe and the walkway 'decorated' with mens underwear washing. We were initially shown to a small cramped room with no air conditioning until it was realised we had booked the"family" room. This was occupied by 3 single beds and a double bed all of which occupied most of the floor space leaving no room for two suitcases. The toilet facilities were off the walkway outside the room and were absolutely filthy and obviously used by men. They were certainly not suitable for a female. We investigated alternative possibilities but unfortunately it was to late at night and so we were forced to stay that night. My daughter spent most of the night sitting on the stairs because the bed sheets did not look clean.
The following morning we arranged alternative accommodation and after considerable argument with the management who wanted payment for the whole booking we paid for the one night and left.
There was nothing to like about this property except the location and it would be better operated as a cheap hostel for less discerning guests

Architecture was beautiful.
We had to pay for two rooms as we weren’t married, but they said we can sleep in the same room. This defeats the whole purpose of their goal. We also didn’t get a heads-ups that we will have to pay double even though I entered all the information prior to our stay on booking.com

Sooo much character. Clean. In the middle of the souk (literally walk through a secret passageway to the market!), yet still super quiet at night (room away from street). Staff were soooo sweet and helped me find tea, $ exchange and an emergency cobbler!
Honestly can't think of anything. If you want luxury, pay for it elsewhere!
