Excellent kitchen!

Great atmosphere, very kind owner, charming village. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent as well as the choice of local beer:)
The breakfast for extra €37/2people was far too expensive (definitely not worth the price) but there was no other option.

Location and the quiet room. The staff helped us with a simple breakfast on the room
Communication was sometimes a little unclear. It was not clear to me that there were restaurant opening times. There was no breakfast available in the restaurant .

Warm welcome
Calm bedroom
Large and very clean bathroom
The "king size bed" is actually two single beds set side by side
No breakfast included
Given the location (i.e. in the countryside) and the quality of the room without breakfast included, it's not a great value for money. It's quite expensive.

Convenient ground floor room in hotel annex building - a house behind hotel. Free parking off road right in front of bedroom window. Quiet location. Excellent evening meal in hotel restaurant which was quite quiet the night we went so we got good attention. We both had really delicious slow cooked beef and vegetable stew. There were other delicious sounding things on the menu. Behind the house was a secluded communal terrace with a steep wild grassy slope behind. A lovely area to relax if weather had been better. We absolutely love the village of Chassepierre - so pretty and varied. So much to see in such a small place from the views from the heights above to the river and bridge and swans down below, with an old mill and the ‘fairy hole’ to old communal laundry basins, and the beautiful old village school that is still in use. So much pretty detail in the many varied pretty corner gardens and well kept village properties. We fell in love with this place right away!
We made it a bit earlier than scheduled - but had to wait till 17:30 to book in - felt a bit odd sitting around waiting for someone to turn up but to be fair check in time was advertised as 17:30. Otherwise it was really good.

Nice room, Nice collage, Nice people.
The next time I would-be like a waterboiler and coffee and tea

Nicely located in the center of the village
I was very shocked by the breakfast place and the way it was organized: in a 'hidden' back room. In a closed room with more than 15 people we sat quite close together: without extra ventilation, tables close together, guests constantly crossed each other to get something from the buffet, everyone had to use the same, common 'instruments' (fork, grippers, egg cooker, coffee maker, orange squeezer, ...) without any protection or disinfection whatsoever. Besides the obligatory mouth-mask sign.
That a commercial organization sweeps its feet at the rules, while other accommodations play it fair and have difficulty to survive is simply gross!
Fine to know that (one of the co-) owners is a lawyer (and ex mayor).
By the way, since the takeover by the new owners, the restaurant's menu and quality of food has gone.
But I don't blame the personnel. They're doing their best.

There is a good restaurant in this hotel. I was able to enjoy dinner without worrying about driving a car.
And then we were able to spend a precious time on a walk after dinner that we will never forget. What a beautiful village here is!
Because the walls are thin, we could hear the voices of other guests.

Very nice breakfast, and warm reception by the staff (Anaïs).
The bed could be better.
