The location was good. We visited friends nearby and on the next day enjoyed spending the morning in the town.
Parking our car was not easy and getting the car out of the car park the next day was hard because of the parking arrangements overlooking the river.

We had a nice dinner ánd a nice breakfast with views on the Lek river. The hotel is part of the old, tiny, historic city centre of Schoonhoven. The staff was kind, had humour and was quick.

This is a lovely turn of the century hotel with a lot of charm. The location near the dyke is lovely with the historical city of Schoonhoven in the back. The bedrooms are on the first floor, but there is an elevator. Some overlook the river. The dining rooms are lovely, tall ceilings and windows going out onto the river Lek. The service at the restaurant is exceptional and the menu as well as the à la carte options very tasty. Definitely recommend staying here.
Not a thing! We had a lovely stay and could not have asked for more. Definitely would recommend staying here for a weekend and enjoying the Polders by bike and on foot.

Nice hotel by the river. Not too big. Lifts to floors. Bar, evening food and breakfast all good. Limited parking and some bike storage.

Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold dishes but the hot took a long time to replenish. The arrangements agreed in advance were remembered immediately we arrived. The town itself is a lovely place with a lot of expensive jewellery shops. Views from the hotel only spoilt by the industry on the opposite bank

The building was beautiful and the nearby park as well.
they charged to park bicycles (€7,50 each ) without previous information. As well as they charge in advance the 2 bottles of water in the room , stated at the welcome table !

The rooms were spacious and comfortable with excellent views of the Rhine. En-suite facilities, TV etc were as good as you would expect. The food was excellent. We had a delightful evening meal on the riverside patio. A socially distanced breakfast meant that one of our party (me!) had to sit alone which was fair enough I suppose, but the three of us had been together for the previous 5 days so I don't think us sitting together would have put anyone in danger. Secure storage for our bikes was very welcome.
Nothing really. Hard to make a decent cup of tea in your room but that is true everywhere. The Europeans aren't as keen on tea as us Brits, which as a tea lover is a shame but not unexpected.
