the view was outstanding and it was every private and quiet.
elements of the kitchen were tired. especially the oven.
the cutlery/cups/glasses could have been cleaner

Stunning views, traditional but well maintained. Air conditioned . A cleaner came in twice during our stay with clean bedding and towels. Communication with Mimi the host was very good. Would come back again , beautiful setting and fab villa. We had 3 teenage girls, was quite quiet for them but just got taxi home from Fiskardo which was only 5/10 m away.
Lovely local tavernas and the most beautiful beaches. We had a hired car therefore, travelled around but everything was no more than 20 m drive. The nearest beach Foki , is walkable, very pretty and nice taverna for lunch :)
Extra pool towels would have been useful (although there is a washing machine to wash them) sun loungers could be replaced but that’s just being picky! We only had breakfast and a few lunches and there was only 5 of us staying, if a larger family and cooking dinners etc, then the small dishwasher would have been an issue. But again being picky. We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back.

The view from the villa was amazing!
Villa being so close in front. Luckily noone staying there while we were there as was noisy when the cleaner was in there. No shop or anything within walking distance. Car essential.

This villa has the most stunning location and probably the most beautiful view of any villa we have ever had. Endlessly dreamy changing view. Absolutely loved that but feel the villa has traded on the view for too long and urgently needs a bit of sensitive upgrading now. However on the positives, good sized villa, very comfortable sun loungers and really comfortable beds, also the air conditioning was very effective.
The villa has obviously traded on its enviable location for many years but very urgently needs an update in regards to other things. Very little crockery and cutlery for this sized villa which meant painful periods of washing up after every meal and extra small dishwasher totally inadequate for a family or any larger group than a couple. Also found (we ate both in and out) that the villa lacked many basics such as salad servers etc, so it always meant improvisation. That doesn’t sound bad but when you only have 6 knives, forks and spoons it is a bit of a pain. There was one bottle of wine on arrival, some washing up liquid and dish cloths plus a few toilet rolls but absolutely nothing else. Such hard work when you have to buy everything from scratch - not even the odd dishwasher tablet on arrival, olive oil or salt & pepper in the cupboard. Having paid over 5000 euros for an 10 night stay one does expect a little more.
We had two outside very broken chairs on arrival (which the villa company did replace quite promptly when we complained) and we also had a wood plank sticking up by the pool which was was not great (though never got fixed despite sending a photo shortly after arrival). My daughter also had to put a clean towel over the fabric headboard in her bedroom as was put off by the white stains on the fabric headboard. She also got locked out of her room the last night as locking mechanism broke to her room though that was a minor point as these things can happen in any property. Some of the pool towels were also threadbare with holes in plus curtains looked a bit sad on arrival and I had to spend some time trying to hook them up properly. We would normally return to such a beautiful villa with its amazing views but it does need to be brought up to a better standard first in order to get repeat bookers.

Kind to leave bottle of wine
Was concerned about the pool-some deep cracks -seemed to be coming away from the main house.Probably all OK

Beautiful location. Pictures don't do the property justice. A wonderful pool and outside area with a view to die for. Comfortable lounge with decent AC. Decent kitchen and nice internal dining area. Rooms are basic, but clean, cool and spacious. Bed was comfy.
