We always enjoy going to Petoskey. This is the first time we stayed at a VRBO property and it met all our needs. We were very comfortable and the owner gave us detailed instructions for checking in and out which made it easy. Definitely would stay here again the next time we visit the area.

We had a wonderful trip to the Petoskey Area. The residence was very clean and orderly, with all the amenities of home. The house is set up nicely to spend time together in the common areas, but offers some privacy in the separate bedrooms. The location is very convenient as we were only a few minutes away from downtown Petoskey and also made it to Charlevoix and Harbor Springs. Would recommend to others and would love to visit again.

The property management team was excellent and very communicative on the details as well as responsive to inquiries.

Very happy with how comfortable, convenient, and clean this home is! Just a short drive to the Petoskey downtown and about 20 minutes to Charlevoix. Happy we got to bring our dog with us, too! Nice fenced-in yard in a quiet neighborhood. Absolutely would love to stay here again next time we're in the area!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Sandy was so helpful and mad us feel right at home. Perfect for long ski weekend. We especially loved how clean the house was and the morning sunrise over the bay that we could see from the kitchen and living room.

Perfect location for wedding in Petoskey and reception at Walloon Lake. Very comfortable amenities and nice neighborhood with "peeks" of the bay, ~3 miles to downtown

Really enjoyed our two night stay at Peeks of the Bay! The neighborhood is quiet and right next to Crooked Tree Golf Club where my husband loves to golf. The house was well appointed and spacious. Nice to have a Kuerig and grill. Very nice fenced in back yard for the dogs to run and play. Sandy even provided blankets, towels and toys for the pups. She was always friendly when communicating and very welcoming! Highly recommend the location a few miles from DT Petoskey, many wineries near by and the lake is visible from the house. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Were in town for a wedding, we had six adults and two dogs staying at the house. Perfect accommodations and location for our weekend. It was everything we needed and more.

We loved being right across from the bay. It’s the perfect location to travel to nearby towns and enjoy all the beautful of Petosky! It was clean, in a great neighborhood and had all we needed! Extra bonuses for allowing dogs, having bikes to use and the games and Pac-Man video game. We walked and biked and had so much fun exploring the area. We loved our stay and will be going back!

Great location right outside downtown Petoskey. Very clean and well maintained home. Very large yard for our dog. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were in Petoskey for our nephew's wedding. This was a perfect place for my husband, my sister, my brother and me to stay. It had all the amenities we needed and was close to the wedding activities. It was ideal for us. Sandy was responsive and accommodating.

The home was everything we needed. It was centrally located between the golf courses we were playing. Sandy was very responsive during the check in process, and the home was in great shape when we arrived.

Sandy’s home exceeded our expectations, everything was clean, the check in process was easy, and communication was as easy. We never had to actually contact her because everything was top notch, but before our stay we did have contact about the check in process, and she was very quick to respond and just made everything easy. I loved that the property was dog friendly, and again everything was made easy about that, nice fenced yard for our boy, dog towels, and sheets for the furniture.(I always travel with our own stuff like that for him but it was nice to know it was there if needed) Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

This was a great place to relax at. The house was quiet, clean, and felt like home.

First of all, Sandy was great to work with. It’s not eas to find a place that takes dogs, and is actually set up to make your stay with your pets manageable and with less stress. There is one large fenced in area, for your dog to run around in, and then a smaller area if you want to keep your pet confined, which really helped with the snow in Petoskey while we’re at the house. Sandy even has pet bowls, a pet gate and pet balls for your dogs, to play with. I have stayed at places that say pet friendly and then the host makes you feel stressed out while your staying with your pets. Working with Sandy the complete opposite of that. Another feature that is nice is that there are 2 distinct areas in the house. The main floor with one bedroom, kitchen, dining and living room that has an open concept, and then the lower level with a couple bedrooms, TV and bar area, This allows for greater privacy if your staying with other adults, which we were. Being 5 minutes away from Petoskey was really nice to run in and out of town as needed, which was really convenient for lunch, dinner and shopping. Not sure about the summer, but the neighborhood is really quiet in the morning and night in the Winter, which was great for relaxing. All in all it was a nice house, with a great location in Petoskey. Thanks Sandy Phillip

This is a beautiful home and was perfect for our stay in Petoskey visiting family. Check in was easy, the home was extremely clean and had everything we needed (we loved the selection of coffees with the Keurig). Our two dogs enjoyed romping around the large fenced in yard with balls to chase. The Pacman arcade machine in the downstairs den was fun to play! Only a minute or two to get to downtown Petosky. We will definately stay here again when visiting the area.

We had a great long weekend in the Petoskey area. The house is located for easy access to several cities, hiking and many restaurants. The views of Lake Michigan in the area was beautiful. The rental was perfect for our two couples plus a dog. The fenced backyard was a huge bonus.

Truly the most unpleasant experience we have ever had with a vacation rental. Red flags were up while I was booking , and I just should have listened to my gut feeling : the owner contacted me via phone upon my booking to find out who I exactly am , and argued that I was listed as a single man on google, with an area code ; which had nothing to do with me or my husband. At any ,we arrived late at night and had to fiddle at length with a lock box in the dark to find a key. The next morning the coffee machine was broken and the fridge was set on 45 degrees and all our groceries such as eggs , smoked salmon etc… were spoiling . We spent the entire a.m. messing with the fridge and finding the model on the internet in order to adjust the setting. Granted early afternoon someone dropped a coffee machine at the door. Next we discovered a sheet of « house rules » printed in a booklet and also laminated on the inside kitchen cabinets such as how to exactly arrange the dishes in the cabinets, and stating « this is not a hotel ». That would have been maybe understandable if this were a unit appointed with crystal and silver ( like we used to rent in the past , but now was unavailable) ! We soon discovered this place did not even have wine glasses , a wine bottle opener, or a board to set a piece of cheese , or napkins, or toilet paper , all of which we went to shop for ! The tone of the note from the owner was almost hostile. The cake taker was on a day where we went out to the beach and found the front door unlocked upon our return. I know I had made sure it was locked when we left , my jewelry , our computers , were there. The owner had requested we leave a key in the lock box upon our checking in , and we did so . Consequently anyone with that lock box code could have entered.I called the owner and alerted her that the door was open upon our return from the beach. She was not alarmed at all , and proceeded to give me an exact timeline of our goings and comings , by the minute , as she had us monitored on her ring camera !!!! Obviously It had been her, who had sent someone to check the premises in our absence ! That was the last straw ! Talk about a relaxing vacation ! How can anyone relax under these circumstances !?We both felt and uneasy and watched !The night before check out we received a list of to do list . Again the tone was militant and arrogant. We complied with the requests and went beyond : All towels were laundered .

The house and fenced area ( for Mickey ) our furry family member was perfect. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Well-kept home, in a quiet neighborhood, with a great fenced in yard for our dog to enjoy. Owner was very quick to respond to our questions, and gave us accurate and very helpful travel information. Enjoyed the attached garage for our ski trip, good to put our gear and car inside during the snowy weather. Felt right at home in this home, and we will certainly rent it again in the future.
