A spacious clean home, close to nature and yet very close to everything you ever need for a holiday.

A lovely spacious home, very close to lots of amenities and yet also within the new forest proper. The host booked us in very quickly after our previous accommodation cancelled the night before and so we are very grateful for the swift booking process.

There is only space for 1 car but we were told about this beforehand and there is some weekend parking around the area. So prepare for this is you have 2 vehicles.

Unclean, poorly maintained, overpriced.

Good location

There was only parking for one car at a 7 bedroom house, had to pay to park others. The house was not clean, cobwebs everywhere, the kitchen had a hole in the ceiling where a repair had taken place months before and the water from the shower a above came though when used, the bathroom above was patched up with plastic panels in the shower and we had to clean the shower head to get it to work, the mirror cabinet was filthy inside so couldn't use. The beds were uncomfortable with cheap pillows The back doors did not close, a man turned up unannounced to try and fix due to previous complaints, he managed to get them to stay closed but there was a gap letting the cold though. The front door was incredibly difficult to lock my wife couldn't do this on her own as it needed strength to lift the handle all the way up to lock. The bag garden was overground and needed a good tidy and jetwash, rubbish and cigarette buts from previous guests. This property has been left get into poor condition and this made sense when we saw it was up for sale so assume that the owners have given up maintaining it.

Lovely place to stay

House was lovely, location for what we needed was great. Showers great, beds comfy. Enjoyed our stay!

Honestly nothing we didnt like. The only thing is that when we were packing to leave. I checked every room incase the kids had left anything under the beds. I found a pair of underwear and i (think) a vape from a previous guest...

Lovely family break. A revisit to the area for my Mum which she very much enjoyed.

Good location. Ideal base for exploring New Forest

Patio doors need some attention. Poor lock and very big gaps around the door frame. Rather cold . Some of the cooking utensils have seen better days. Only one car park space which I think should be highlighted. I was able to park at the train station for a reasonable weekend rate but had our stay been longer it would have been more costly.

Great stay in brockenhurst

The property was very very clean and is in an excellent location for the woods and the coast as you are in the middle of the new forest and 6 miles from the sea with shops pubs and restaurants close by

Parking can be a little difficult as parking is in a private Rd with 1 space per house, the neighbours explain where to park. A drive would be ideal. The back garden was lovely and secure if you have small children or dog but the weeds between the patio slabs could do with a sort out as spoilt it for sitting in the garden a bit.

Perfect home from home feel

While house rent. Reliable parking space. Super shower. Lovely bed and good location. Neighbour feels like an old friend and we’ve only stayed once before

A relaxing break in a lovely home, with everything you need close by. Wonderful!

The property was lovely, well presented and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The property had a great selection of places to eat and drink nearby too, so we had lots of choice close to hand. We also bought our dog, who loved sleeping in front of the fire. A great long weekend break and highly recommended.

No negatives to report - everything was as expected, and we had a lovely time.

I would use this property again

Fantastic location in the centre of town with extremely easy access to the train station shops, pubs, restaurants and countryside walks. Ponies wandering about. The location is only about 5 miles to the coast .Comfortable 4 bedroom , 2 bathroom family house and friendly neighbours. Booking .com seemed to indicate it would be extra for bedding and towels but this was provided along with some basics such as tea coffee loo rolls etc

There was a leak from the shower which was obviously inconvenient but the owner was very responsive and arranged for swift repairs.
